@@WICKEDAUTO1 i just put the leveling kit and those tires on yesterday and it makes my truck look like a real truck now. Insane how a little plastic set of pucks and some more rubber can make you love your truck even more!
I have a ‘17 F150 Super Crew with a 2.5in level kit and Toyo 295/60R20 tires and +22 offset Fuel wheels and no spacers. They are 34in tall with 11.6in of tread on the road with no modifications and no rubbing. They are essentially flush with the fenders with maybe a 1/4-1/2in sticking out. I have a bit more clearance than he does. I would thing he might rub if turning over a bump. Nice vid, thanks
So I watched your video and pretty much did exactly what you did. Same tires same spacers but I went with a 2.5 mammoth leveling kit. I love the set up. The tires are awesome. I just got the tires on today.
Looks good man! Bone stock on my 2013 F150 4x4 I managed to fit 285/65r18’s with no issues. I’m going to level it this summer and should have a little extra room to go at least one size bigger. 👍
On my 2018 Ford F-150, (2 inch level), I’ve got Toyo Open Country in 295 70r 18’s. No sweat/no rub. Look like Big Boy tires and people love the look. Me too!!
It doesn't surprise me you need wheel spacers. I think that's the one thing people overlook when they install these leveling kits. Everyone is concerned about tire height, not taking into consideration that taller tires usually bring additional width with them. I bet that upper control arm clearance is almost non existent. Truck looks great, though. Probably don't need terribly large spacers to eliminate the rub. My 2020 F150 came with P275/55 R20's, though I plan on swapping them for LT285/60 R20s after it's leveled. Good thing you realized the rub issue early on. Once the spacer issue is resolved, I'm sure that truck is gonna some fun riding.
I have a 2019 F150 crew cab. Just had a rough country 2" level lift installed on the front and had 295/70/17 MasterCraft Courser MXT put on with no rubbing.
@@WICKEDAUTO1 Yes, they are a touch smaller, I was worried they would rub. My truck is identical to yours, same color as well. Only difference is I have 17 inch rims. Your video was what convinced me in doing mine. Lol.
I just got a 2018 lariat. I want to basically do exactly what you did to yours and keep the stock rims. I’ve done zero upgrades. I want to do 2” leveling kit, 1.5” spacers and get a bed cover and a cool air intake.
Thanks for this video. I went with a similar set up 2.25" readylift leveling kit, 34" x11.5" cooper st maxx, 1.5" spacers and rear blocks delete. Looks great tires stick out barely 1/2" and it rides really well
Damn thing looks sweet just as it sits. I usually don't like the white letters out or those factory wheels but they look damn good with the white truck.
Not sure what I want to do with mine yet. I ordered a Fox 2.0 leveling kit already, but do I stick with the stock 20” Rims or go aftermarket? Prob going for 295/65r20 Toyo or Nitto, really like the design of the Toyo RT. I had a level on my 16 2500HD Silverado, ran 305/75R17 Toyo AT2, with Vision off road rims, and it was Solid. Not sure what Wheel/Tire combo to go with on my F150.
Those look great! Surprised wider than 275 fit, but those are factory wheels. I have 20in wheels and want to drop to 18, but I may have to stay at 275 since most aftermarket wheels are going to push out 1" due to most being 18mm to 25mm offsets when I'm 44mm now. Thanks for the video. LOL just watch the last little bit, and saw that they rubbed. So maybe that extra bit of offset in most aftermarket rims would help.
I'm putting 295/70/18's on my 2018 with Bilstien 5100 leveling struts on top notch. Going to be running 18x9 wheels with 0 offset/5 backspacing. From what I've found, it should work with minor plastic trimming. Going from stock +44 offset to 0 pushes the wheel out 1.68". Should clear everything in the back fine but the poke creates wider turn radius so it'll probably rub the plastic in fender well. We'll see soon!
This is exactly what I'm doing! Would you say the upper control arm clearance, between the arm and tire is about 2"? I'm wanting this set up but also wanting to run chains. The 44 offset with 275x65 was not enough clearance. Going to 295x70r18 but can't decide between 0 offset and negative 19. Want plenty of room for chains but like you said don't want to have alot more trimming do to larger swing radius.
If you dont want to use the 1/2in spacers you could go with 285/75/18 and they should be ok. They are .6 taller but .4 thinner so it wouldnt rub the uca sometimes
@@TheNolesfan94 I'm not having any issues with them as of yet but the spacers have only been on for about a week...approx. 500mi. To go that big with a tire and just a level without cutting anything I cant change rims unless it is the exact same size. Any offset gives me the uca clearance but pushes it out too far that I'd have to do some cutting/trimming. I got the spacers from American trucks..coyote brand. I believe $40 with shipping.
Not sure about the Cooper STT in this size but if you want a little taller but just a little bit narrower you can go with LT285/75R17....they are 33.9" tall.
When you get that front end down in a ditch or big mud hole and turn the tires they will rub being that close. Just sitting on level ground turning the steering wheel without a load of course they won't rub.
That's awesome, and I'd love to do the same, but I'm just wondering what's different about your truck that keeps yours from rubbing without a level or lift? That tire is 34.6" tall and 12.6" wide. All the other videos are saying those will rub on a stock F150...
Have no idea why they don’t. Maybe since I bought the rims and tires used and are not at brand new height on tire. When it’s time to get new tires I’ll find out when I leave discount tire.
I recently bought a 2018 F-150 XLT, looking to level truck and upgrade tires. I absolutely love that set up, what are the names of the exact rims and exact tires? and how much did it all cost?
Hey there - great video and awesome truck. I'm getting my '20 leveled this week, and was hoping to go with 295/70/18s as well. Could you please provide information on the spacers that you went with and how everything worked out? Thank you!
I love them except for the gas mileage lol but if you get the 295/70 you will need a 1/2in spacer. You should be able to get away with a 285/75 no issue but cant say 100%. 295/70 is 34.2/11.6 the 285/75 is 34.8/11.2
@@keyboardoperator802 with a 12.5 I'm sure you would need an offset of some sort whether it be rims or a spacer. With my size and the 1/2in I'm flush with the wheel well.

I’m asking because I have a 2021 on the way with 18”s and I want to add the same size tire. I would also have 2.5 level kit in the front. Nice ride brother!
O they will fit, mine fit it's just 1/4in from uca and rubs on bumps with turning. When discount was done with mine he said good to go no rubbing....yea ok. But the place was great n their life time stuff with the tires are a deal. Look into 285/75. U get .5 more on the height, .4 less on the width n only .3 on the diameter so u still shouldnt be rubbing at all but gives you more of a gap for the uca.
@@jeremyjones3286 finding the money for it is the hardest part to me. Everything I've done but the tires, bull bar and floor mats have been under $50 each.
@@jeremyjones3286 they were long enough but just barely. You need at least 6 full turns and I believe I got 8. But you could just get longer lugs, they have a longer end to screw on between the rim. Very nice looking truck, sir. I'm trying to decide between 18" vs 20" wheels for some 34" tires. What are the pros and cons of one wheel size over the other?
im going to give you an honest answer, id take my advice with a grain of salt....i like 18s due to there being more tire with the truck but you may be able to get a bigger tire with 20s and it would be better due to possibly being lighter than the same size on an 18. the lighter the tire the better it is for the truck(gas mileage and power wise)

I went with a 1/2in spacer. I'm afraid with an inch I would then be rubbing my crash bars and wheel wells. So far everything is great.
@@WICKEDAUTO1 thanks for the reply, bud. Really enjoy watching your truck evolve. I need to find some $$$ for upgrades to mine.
@@jeremyjones3286 finding the money for it is the hardest part to me. Everything I've done but the tires, bull bar and floor mats have been under $50 each.
Were the stock studs long enough? Sorry for all the questions. Any info would be appreciated.
@@jeremyjones3286 they were long enough but just barely. You need at least 6 full turns and I believe I got 8. But you could just get longer lugs, they have a longer end to screw on between the rim. I'm still debating on getting them just to be on the safer side. I will say I've put probably about 1500miles on them and have no issues so far. Just make sure you tighten with the star pattern and go back and retighten after 50-100miles or so.
Good lookin tires but it helps
Love the look with stock wheels. All these aftermarket designs just look tacky after so many.
The cheap aftermarket ones look tacky
Nice looking truck! Where did you get the gray FX4 decals?
Thanks man!!
They are only $23. U can find quite a few different colors/styles.

No rub until a bump. 😱
Looks good.
295 fit on those stock rims? What's the widest you can go?
That looks good.
So what would you recommend for tire size? I have the same leveled truck.
Thanks for the video. Putting a 2” level kit in my 2018 F-150. Going with the Nitto Ridge Grappler. But still debating between the 295/70 18 and the 285/75 18. Are you still liking your setup? The 285/75 is a little larger diameter, but not quite as wide, and I’m wondering how the two different tires look.
Same here. Im thinking about adding a 285/75R18 with +34 Offset. lemme know if it fits. if no Rubbing at all
what did u go with after
@@nickrossiter2025I went with the 295/70R18, and glad I did. Still plenty of room.
perfect im going with ko2s next week thanks i was getting worried didnt want to use spacers
Nice.
Thanks
Do they make alot of noise while riding
Very nice looking truck, sir. I'm trying to decide between 18" vs 20" wheels for some 34" tires. What are the pros and cons of one wheel size over the other?
im going to give you an honest answer, id take my advice with a grain of salt....i like 18s due to there being more tire with the truck but you may be able to get a bigger tire with 20s and it would be better due to possibly being lighter than the same size on an 18. the lighter the tire the better it is for the truck(gas mileage and power wise)
@@WICKEDAUTO1 what size are your rims?
@@hefferss2k668 mine are 18s. They are the factory sport rims.
