Well said,.... I normally jump ship once a pay wall is up. Something about watching the little guy's channel makes it more fun. DeBoss Garage still has the neighbor next door style to the program. Have a great weekend everyone! (Yeah I know......I got a lawn tractor and a wagon......neighbor has a tank and a lowboy truck).
Everything is subscription based anymore. I realize everyone has to put food on their tables somehow, so within reason I won't object to supporting creators of content I enjoy, but I would much rather buy a hat and a shirt every now and then, maybe some stickers to put on my tool box. Stuff like that. Most of my shirts/ hats are in some way supporting guys like Rich. I prefer to have their logo or design on my back or chest as I walk around rather than advertise for some big name brand that means nothing to me. But I also understand they can't bank on me regularly needing new shirts, but they can budget around subscriptions. Everyone that can afford a one time payment should go buy a shirt or hat if they don't already have one from the channels they subscribe to, between the merch and the content we watch it's a good return on investment.
@@joshp.2237 Well said. Good points. I'm subbed to 300 plus channels. I probably keep up with 30. I suppose if sent each one a buck a year it would be possible. But a thousand of us would have to do the same thing. On the flip side of the coin. If I were to have a channel shirt, I think I would give them out at events. I don't' want to sell anything. (Ask me again in five years...). Have a super week!
Our shop uses the Snap-on easy bake oven for making bearing bread. Saw them on the tool truck for $3800 bucks ....with a spare light bulb. If you can get your hands on some prison bread...I hear that stuff lasts.
Every time I watch the bread trick I got to laugh, Like who was the first old head who was like "you know what, just stuff it with bread and pound it until it comes out"
@@JMC9837 In my experience, 90% of an engine bay can be unmounted with a ratchet, a 10 mm socket, a pocket screwdriver, and a long pipe to use as a brake bar. Well maybe not, 90% but most of it. Yet once I asked what I needed to do mechanics, and guy told me 20K on tools. Guys do like their fancy tools, I guess.
@Nairod2 having the right tool does sometimes make a huge difference, and these new vehicles have fancy bolt heads that require fancy tools. So maybe some of the credit should go to engineers of yesterday
Just saw the Bronco at Motorama. Let me say that the videos do not show how AMAZING it really looks in person. Wow I was not expecting that. Super job fellas. Beautiful beautiful truck!!!
@@braedon.builds Nice! I enjoy the soundtracks of Juice Box and FTree Kitty the most so far. The music is so important to what makes a video or movie epic or meh. It also takes a lot of work to get right and I try, in the comment section, to give Editor Aaron some love regarding the music. A while back I came across Editor Aaron's Soundcloud of all the Deboss tunes. That Soundcloud is a go to playlist for some incredible places that I've worked at.
You have to watch the stater bracket bolts!! Had a 97 and now own a 96 6.5. The 97 started bracket fell off and snapped the starter bolts luckily was able to save that one. But my 96 starter snapped the bolts off in the block! Decided to go with a 06 International 506 (6.5L) military surplus block with 12k miles for a really good deal instead of an all new diesel truck. Did new Bosch injectors, fass lift pump, bigger air intake and Quadstar super 60 turbo. That was 6 years ago still have it and runs great! Use it as my daily.
The front clip of any OBS ford takes forever to align. I thought my 1992 was difficult to align when I removed my front radiator support. Then I bought a 79 Bronco and it was even harder to align. The older the Bronco the more inconsistent the build quality and therefore harder to align. The trick I found was that unless I shimmed the front radiator support to match the fender alignment, that over time the radiator support would pull on the fenders and throw out my fender to door alignment. Took one off road trip flexing the body to figure that out. This Bronco looks amazing. Hope you and your family enjoy your FSB as much as we do!
Excellent paint job! and panel beating as well!! You did the nearly impossible mission attaching all the parts and V8 engine.. so much small details. and big cheers to Ian😊
I actually like to paint the engine bay with a really bright color now. Like an off white or bright tan. It just lets you see everything so much easier. When you go black, it's good at hiding things, but it's just a bit of a headache when you're looking at a black hose and there's a black background and everything is dark, and even a good light doesn't help much. A really bright engine bay color makes a huge difference, and it's hard to go back after you've had one... It's easier to get dirty of course, so that's why I wouldn't go white white-- but rather some dirty off white. Everything is so bright and easy to see-- I love it.
Rich, the Bronco is looking great. You never disappoint, the builds just keep getting better and better. Can’t wait to see her completed and hear it run. Awesome job! Keep the content coming. Take care and God bless, David.
When using bread to push your bearing out. It's SO much better if you get something that fits the hole better. Every time you were hammering, you could see the bread squeezing out past your extension. If you find something that more closely fits the hole, it will trap all the bread and push out the bearing the very first few taps of the hammer.
It was great seeing the care and hands on attention to detail those guys had. Ironically it's a better assembly than Ford ever had. It's the best assembled 84 Bronco in N.A.!
You are a lifesaver for that ratchet strap on the frame rails to get the trans off the ground trick. Love it Rich. I’ll try it the next time I’m under my truck.
Absolutely beautiful , you’ve done a fantastic job with this project. Better than stock I would have to say ! Thanks to technology and much better craftsmanship you’ve made this ford a gem……👍🏻👍🏻😎
When I was rebuilding these back in the day the roof fix was a couple holes on the inside skin and a can of expanding foam from the hardware, pops the dents out cures the oil canning effect and makes it quieter afterwards. Just a little trick to keep in mind.
It's funny that in the opening sequence you see Rich jumping the truck and then in this part agonizing over getting the body panels lined up perfect! HA! Maybe you shouldn't have....never mind 😁
Not sure it matters, opinions varied(as they do online) when I put the lift on my 95 Bronco I read the rear spring angle block should be below the lift blocks. (@23:52 in the video) love the project.. good to see another clean bronco in 🇨🇦 thanks to our southern friends.
I put a 351 Windsor in an early bronco. My first engine swap. The 351 was in front of a manual transmission I gave an auto in my early bronco. I could not get it to go together then some one mentioned pilot bushing. I felt stupid but I pulled the engine and wish I knew the bread trick. It may have been before UA-cam. I drilled it out it was a bronze bushing. Love the bronco and your other builds. I need to get my bronco across the border as I know live in Alberta. From the states.
Damn, for me as a nineties kid who only had middle to late nineties Volvos it's wild that you can adjust the body line by twisting the cab on its mounting points. That body must be soooooft
Good day to you Rich, I’m not normally a wrap fan but what you’ve decided on with the Bronco looks freaking amazing. Awesome choice and as usual you’ve all done a awesome job on the little Juice Box 👌🏻
Panel gaps are much better than anything ford did back then!! I know you're sponsored, but silicone spray, or tire shine is a much better way to slide the seals in.
Same as everyone else, the bronc has been broke and is safe to ride! It looks fantastic Rich! Don't yall wish you could go purchase a new one? Rich has done a fantastic job, the diff choice, the engine & trans combo! Oh ! Let's not forget the big brakes! Really ? I wonder if Ford had just made the new Bronco this size, 1/2 - ton ? 2500 ( 3/4) ton would folks buy them up? Your choice of the 5.0 or the 5.0? Maybe your choice could be, Automatic or Manual, six speed trans? Can't wait to here what the public says? Or Ford? Again, Great job Rich! And Thanks for sharing 👍🏻. ✌🏻🤘🌬❄️🌧🍁, Ontario.
Nice work Rich love your channel, making old new again is a challenge worth excepting and it seems to be better than when it was new ,keep the good stuff coming Mate Cheers Kym Adelaide

Man Rich glad you went two tone thought you was just going double homicide white for a minute
So glad Deboss is free to watch! Could easily be on some subscription based site. Thanks Rich and the team for all the effort! 👏

@Nairod2 memory serves me on the 80s ford you'll need 8,10,13 and 18 mm, an extention to get the bolt half way up the fender through the door jam

Beautiful beautiful truck!!!
Love that details and small things weren’t left out of the video. Shimming to fit the door perfectly is great to see.
Let’s hear that beautiful soundtrack! Love the music of the Juice Box series. Oh, and the paint, let’s check out the paint.
I never noticed the different builds had soundtracks till now, that’s awesome!

Nice to see Ian back! seems like a nice guy who knows his stuff.
That tape with the pull line in it for cutting the vinyl on the vehicle was damn cool 👌
It's always so fun pulling the knifeless tape! Take a bit of extra prep but man oh man does it provide a much cleaner line!

So many projects. I like the wrap on the Bronco and white vehicles. Enjoy you and your channel. Blue second.
Great episode, love all of the detailed work. Great to see it all coming together. Now to pick up my project from the engineering and fab shops :)
That looks amszing Rich, looking forward to seeing you complete it.
Looks great Rich!
Looks great Excellent !!
That looks SO awesome i love this build soooo much!!
The Bronco is coming along very nice. Excellent paint job and also the wrap. Those guys make it look so easy.
Ii find wet paper towel works the best for pilot bearings. Doesn't squeeze out as much.
Looks outstanding Rich.
I can't tell if the Juice box intro or the Silverado intro is my favorite.....it's both...I love both.
Thank you for the links to all the seals.🙌
That chocolate sparkle looks pretty sick. I'm glad you kept some earth tone in it!

Great color choices. Very period yet modern.
Got to do a clutch on the weekend. Does the bread need to be metric or standard? Sourdough or wholemeal?

17:00 If you put in an entire loaf, you're toast! Crumby technique. Best used on crusty bearings.

You guys put a lot more care and attention into the bodywork than Ford ever did. And it looks great!
To be fair, if Ford put this kind of time and effort into each individual truck, they'd cost $150,000 apiece. :)
hehe
Very nice.
