Sitting in the hospital after my mom was rushed here last night bored out of my mind when rich pops up with a new video... thank you for your hard work sir
Rich, I think I've commented this before, but it needs said again. Thank you for encouraging and motivating us to do better and be better. We all appreciate everything you do.
I just found your channel by accident but so happy I did! I recently finished restoring a Chevy Kodiak 4500 which took 5 months then rebuilt/ restored a 7x20 equipment trailer which I just finished and now I’m diving into restoring a Chevy 3500 duramax. Knowing how much work and time those “smaller” projects took, I have a TON of respect for what you’re doing. It takes a lot of dedication, patience and problem solving ability!
Here is Rich absolutely killing it again. Man I can't even tell you just how beautiful 😍that kwhopper and lowboy are together. You've been knocking it out of the park as always, man. Every video of yours I watch always puts me into a weird moment of self-reflection about working on my own dang projects that I seem to start and inevitably put off for months and sometimes years. Keep it up, sir!
Really nice. Don’t see low boys like that Australia very often.(very rarely). It’s cool, it’s old school and it’s on the road. Pat on the back bro. Well done.
@@DGHD Also remember that it’s super close to the ground, so as you scan the road in front of you remember you have basically the same ground clearance as a small car. That’s a sharp truck and trailer you’ve built for yourself Rich you’ve done well, you take pride in your work and that’s less and less popular these days. 🫡
Very well done Rich. Next project: Since you have "beauty" (KW) already for the lowboy, it's time for a beast. Early 90s Mack Superliner with a 440 or 500 hp V8. Had one of each in front of lowboys, would handle anything and the V8 Mack sound.... woof
As to a potential future project for off road recovery, y’all oughta explore something like a John Deere 440 cable skidder, maybe doing some modifications to put it into a wrecker configuration. Should be available relatively cheap, in y’all’s neck of the woods.
We have that same trailer as a 50 ton and to support the neck from the deck there is a thick piece of flat stock roughly 15” long with a hole at each end. It goes in the very middle of the neck at the rear under the swinging feet pinned and down to the lowboy deck pinned in place. So after you raise the deck up with the neck brace in place, it will remain attached to the deck and you can unhook the tractor from it. Nicely done on the truck and trailer. Man does she looooook beautiful
That trailer looks great behind the K100, the deck boards being stained really ties it all together, but seeing how that neck operates makes me glad to have an Aspen. Better than a mechanical neck though.
If you are thinking about buying containers to store your stuff. You can get a temporary structure that is supposed to be mounted in between 2 containers and gives you a decently tall, covered work area outside for the things that still don’t fit in the shop
I bought some cheap trusses and will frame up a little roof with Steel. With the trees there, plastic wouldn't last too long, and the steel dome structures are about $25/square foot.
The gothic arches that boat enthusiasts use work on containers, give good height, and will accept various roofing applications, and your sawmill guy can supply the wood. Take care.
Rich, this project has been fun to follow. I've been a K100 fan since I was about 5 years old in 1983. A large majority of my sketches and doodles were of KW transport trucks. Thanks for stoking the memories.
It’s good to see a fellow Ontarian doing the dang thing! Love the truck/semi content. It’s a welcomed change of pace from the regular UA-cam car content.
It's great to see the backstory. I saw the Edison truck tow your tank, but I didn't know the trailer barely made it! I'm gonna be following your hybrid pickup build.
I was never quite sure about the color combination on the Kenworth before, but now after seeing it with the lowboy I am convinced. It looked pretty dope with the tank on top.
Your going to need some nice strobes lights on.that kenworth to make it a truck Canadian float truck eh i suggest stainless roof brakets and old sckool rotating flashers
I just watched the cab over and trailer build Absolutely loved it I bought a cabover about 7 months ago( 98% of all trucks in my country is cab overs ) I got a 2007 internal cummins isx 475 With a 18 speed box Makes me wanna do a complete rebuild like this
Rich...your talking about sea cans! I've seen so.e.pretty cool ideas, if you have the room. Basically you can stack em up, build an enclosure between them, pur some rafters and roof on it and a week you can have a nice roomy enclosure, 6 sea cans worth of storage plus all the room in the middle, and the best part is, they are usually rodent tight....
Looking great, new paint and wood does a lot! You could get some rubber mats for the trailer to get traction and protect the deck, I've heard people use old transport belts or retreads for tires.
Last year I bought a 1992 model of the same trailer with a current yellow sticker. It works well to move a 20 ton excavator between farms. The pins and safety system is not that bad if you don't have use it every day. Not as nice as some newer trailers, but the price was right and it is solid. That trailer was in Dunnville of all places!
I was worried about your light bar on the back of the truck but it looks like it cleared fine! I was worried it might catch the low boy. This set up looks amazing. Well done.
20:45 I love the chicken! She likes the lowboy, too- seems to be a good place for some beek care. And yes, it´s a pretty combo although the K100 is way too long for my liking. I bet the length is gonna bite You when things get tighty bendy curvy. Call it Rudolf The Redlight Reintruck
Not a bad job with the dubbing! :D Voice would need a bit of EQ'ing (less low frequencies). Though the reverb of the small room makes it a bit obvious, so a bit more damping to wherever you're recording should do the trick. Can't remember hearing such an effort on dubbing. It surely sells itself to most people :D
Sitting in the hospital after my mom was rushed here last night bored out of my mind when rich pops up with a new video... thank you for your hard work sir
Hope your mom is okay and makes a full recovery
Hope everything is well with your mom and she pulls through.
Hope and pray it's nothing to serious
Wishing your mom a speedy recovery from whatever is ailing her.
Wishing you the best and a speedy recovery for your mum ❤
Rich, I think I've commented this before, but it needs said again. Thank you for encouraging and motivating us to do better and be better. We all appreciate everything you do.
Thanks man!
That chicken hopping on the trailer at the end was majestic
A seminal moment and a tribute to all the incredible work I would say ❤
This is the true definiton of "working with your own hands". Respect
I’m really glad you bought the trailer and tank to the show too
When you load your tank onto the trailer you built and haul it with the truck you built, you are well and truly a man's man. Sir, I salute you
Thanks! I was driving a Nissan Leaf around about a year ago and was called a girl, so this redeemed me a bit

17:28 - I wish you luck!
Always.
Loving that working area
A place for everything and everything in the same place 😂😂😂😂😂😂
That's a beautiful rig Rich and you should be very proud
Really nice. Don’t see low boys like that Australia very often.(very rarely). It’s cool, it’s old school and it’s on the road. Pat on the back bro. Well done.
The Kenworth and lowboy trailer together are a work of art.
Your lowboy turned out clean! Watch your fenders when turning that style gooseneck will/can hit them!
Heavyhauler approved!
Yeah, I didn't think that far ahead, and I already hit them....
@@DGHD happens to everyone at least once!😁

To Deboss. For all the rust you deal with, you should get a sponsor for a 1500w/2000w laser rust ablation machine. Always great videos. Thank you sir.
Perfect sat night…. Deboss to finish the day!
Rich, i had noticed that ur Rooster had made his Mark on ur Trailer. Great Job on rebuilding ur Lowboy Trailer. looks Cool.
Great great work Rich! ❤️ Greetings from Sweden
Glad to see you put a cover on the bronco.
The music choices for this video were on point. Nicely done.

Lovely job sir, as a UK HGV trucker of decade & more....really enjoyed this series =GunZenBomZ=
Truck and trailer look beautiful together, great work wow.

But we have a tank....

One beautiful setup you've made there 💪💪.
Regards from the Netherlands
Watching it connect for the first time was a great sight.
Correction Rich. It's not a one man show, don't forget the Inspector Chicken in the background.
Yummmm I can smell the new paint from here! What a beautiful lowboy, you sir are the man.
That trailer looks great behind the K100, the deck boards being stained really ties it all together, but seeing how that neck operates makes me glad to have an Aspen. Better than a mechanical neck though.
totally sick
Your content is one of the best on UA-cam well done
Thank you! We all work hard over here, thanks for noticing
@@DGHD your hard work is noticed here pal awesome content keep up the good and hard work and a big thank you
Rich, you did a hell of a job on the Kenworth and its new lowboy. Keep saving these old machines. Cheers.
Topsy! Really sorry I missed the show (London) - Topsy pulled 100k! Great job Rich.
It's a hell of a work there Rich...BUT...Beautifully done!! What an outcome !! Congrats Rich !! Can't wait for the next videos...😎😎
Thank you!

Rich has a background in construction, putting a truss roof on some containers is well within his wheelhouse.
The gothic arches that boat enthusiasts use work on containers, give good height, and will accept various roofing applications, and your sawmill guy can supply the wood. Take care.
It came along pretty nice! :) You can never have a too big shop, that's unheard off!
Beautiful Truck and Trailer. Great job .

You're the man. You built that lowboy all by yourself...WOW !
Rebuilt* but Rich did a lot of work to it
He almost built it from scratch given the state of that trailer.
It’s good to see a fellow Ontarian doing the dang thing! Love the truck/semi content. It’s a welcomed change of pace from the regular UA-cam car content.
Man, Fontaine’s neck setup is waaaay better than any other trailer I’ve seen.
They have simplified the separating of the neck process for sure!
Absolutely fantastic mate!
Can’t get my head around your trailers in the US come over to the UK and Europe and see how we move oversized loads , so much simpler
differant rules.
It's great to see the backstory. I saw the Edison truck tow your tank, but I didn't know the trailer barely made it! I'm gonna be following your hybrid pickup build.
Enjoyed watching Edison's truck pull the tank around
Such a cool setup. That’s was a HUGE project! Kudos to V&R as well. You guys all rock!
That is a Beautiful combo you have there
I was never quite sure about the color combination on the Kenworth before, but now after seeing it with the lowboy I am convinced. It looked pretty dope with the tank on top.
Your going to need some nice strobes lights on.that kenworth to make it a truck Canadian float truck eh i suggest stainless roof brakets and old sckool rotating flashers
For locking pins, you can use a spring brake can and rods-levers. Spring/park is locked, charged is unlocked.
Next, make the tank& shermanatior match T he truck & trailer
That turned out awesome! What an accomplishment, you should really be proud of yourself!
I just watched the cab over and trailer build
Absolutely loved it
I bought a cabover about 7 months ago( 98% of all trucks in my country is cab overs )
I got a 2007 internal cummins isx 475
With a 18 speed box
Makes me wanna do a complete rebuild like this
Love the channel.
Especially the heavy duty equipment.
Absolutely brilliant truck.
You are a big motivator for me!!! You are awesome!!
I'm a huge fan from Germany

Rich that whole set up turned out SICK AF!
As always, you killed it. Very nice. I'd love to own that very straight Bronco.
Who needs sleep when Rich posts a video.. 🤘🤘🤜💥🤛
Was great seeing all this stuff at the open house
Huge congrats! Such a beautiful setup!!! Hope to see more with both the K100 and lowboy.
Looking great, new paint and wood does a lot!
You could get some rubber mats for the trailer to get traction and protect the deck, I've heard people use old transport belts or retreads for tires.
Thanks Rich , your channels are awesome and I look forward to every video, I don’t know how you manage to do what you do but I am a huge fan.
It all looks cool good job on everything

Keep up the good work rich. I love what you are doing
Thank you for the hours of entertainment
That looks so good. Amazing work.
A folding gooseneck front load trailer is so much less complicated and practical then these types, my god i feel for you Rich
If I was to use this everyday, I would have spent the extra $50 000, but for me who uses it on average 1-2x a week. This is still the better option
Beautiful truck.
Man that setup is going to look nice going down the road.
I might be getting a kw t600 soon if everything works out its gonna need work but man older truck prices are dumb
😂😂😂😂 I was thinking when you started working on the low-boy that you need a bigger shop 😂😂😂
New Shop sounds REALLY good.
This is beautiful, Rich! Great job. I can't wait to see what you do with this combo!
Once again, awesome video. Great series.
Enjoy your videos from central Florida!!!
I hate how PUMPED I am after watching Deboss's on a Sunday evening after working on my car all weekend! 😅
I was worried about your light bar on the back of the truck but it looks like it cleared fine! I was worried it might catch the low boy. This set up looks amazing. Well done.
T-shirt with the sherminator on the low-boy with the chicken inspecting it. 😁
Love this build and the work you put into it! It all looks incredible!
Awesome outfit👍👏👏👏
I like the heck out of that K-100 that truck is slick awesome job
Aaron! The van video and burn out is coming!
They all look so beautiful love all your truck and videos!
Keep up the good work! 👍
Excellent work!!! Love watching your videos!

Enjoyed this and thanks for all the motivation
Sure was nice seeing all the projects in person at the meet
Looks amazing!!! Love it man ! keep up the awesome vids!

We have one of them at the shop. I like pulling the fontaine over the witzco.
Beautiful rig, Rich!!!
Great job as ever. It looks great, and the video content is great. Well done Rich.
