Just have to tell you guys that your channel is quickly becoming one of my favs. Absolutely love seeing your garden and I’m getting so much inspiration for my own garden from watch your videos. Thank you!
I love the way you shaped the Tri-Color willow!! I may try that with one of mine! I have 3 young ones!! Thanks for sharing and thank you so much for these detailed tours! I love it and never tire hearing about everything!!
Thank you too! We absolutely love your garden and often reference your videos for hydrangea sizes! Our next video is installing our own hydrangea room!
To pull out weeds from moss , you get a pair of scissors, and you open enough to cut root. You stab push the scissors into the ground cut the root as deep as you can. You slowly pull scissors from the ground, and you open and put them flat around the weed and pull the weed. The scissors keep the dirt in place as you pull the weed
Thanks for the tour! I love it when you introduce me to plants I'm unaware of that are gorgeous and I think might do well in my garden - like that Adagio miscanthus. I can't wait to find a spot for that one!
To get weeds from your moss without disturbing the moss - Grampa's Weeder The Original Stand Up Weed Puller Tool with Long Handle. Awesome tool to get any weed out of the lawn with a simple push and pull.
Your yard is looking great at the end of September. I know you enjoy working in the gardens. It shows. Thanks for sharing. I love watching and learning from you two..
It’s amazing what the two of you have accomplished! I hope you take time to just sit and relax and enjoy the beauty you have surround yourself with. Thanks for sharing! ❤
Beautiful, beautiful gardens!! Love the layering, varied texture, and all the important aspects for a gorgeous garden. Many screenshots taken to add to my inspiration files. Thank you for sharing.
A friend just purchased a home and has a blank slate for landscaping. I have referred him to your videos. Lovely garden and thank you for sharing the successes and struggles of the garden. Keeping it real.
Happy to hear your comments about the Sonic Bloom and (not) re-blooming. Mine looked beautiful in spring but had fewer than 5 re-blooms during the summer, planted in 2019.
I’d love to know the nursery you go to for your interesting trees! So much variety in your garden. It would be worth the drive for me to go take a look :)
Your yard is an absolute favourite! I couldn’t believe the $4 price tag of the Purple Fountain Grass, we pay $ 18.00 Canadian at our local nursery😳 ! So lucky you! Am I going to regret planting Walkers Low Nepeta? I’ve planted 2 with monarda inbetwee them. It looks like it spreads to be quite large! I’m in zone 3. 🍁🇨🇦🍂
Your garden still looks great even this time of the year. I planted an Olympia clematis this spring. I have it growing with my pink Eden climbing rose. Bonny
I have a white pillar rose of Sharon too. About every third bloom is purple as there is a bit of reverting going on. Contacted Proven Winners and they said it happens and what to do about it. I however like it. Yours is beautiful.
Do you use your dried hydrangea blooms for decorating? I did a whole Christmas tree with white lights and dried hydrangea blooms and it was magical! Your gardens are so inspirational-they look so gorgeous I just want to copy everything!! 😊
I was told never to plant willow near homes foundation. Are you not afraid of it hurting the basement? ARe you going to show your fall clean up? Since we have so many similar plants it would be nice to see what you guys do so I can do it to my garden.
It's probably closer than it should be but since it isn't a full on weeping willow tree we aren't worried. We've seen two story dappled willows in our area right next to houses. We will definitely be sharing how we clean up for the season!
Hi Guys, I see that you have some metal edging in your front garden. Can you tell me what kind it is and were to get it? Thanks. Love your garden tours.
I love your gardens. How often do you water with the drip during the season? We’re close to you and I can’t figure out how to balance with the rain. Also I love beech trees also but I can’t add any right now. We have beech leaf disease in our current ones.
Love that varigated vanderwolf pine, how long did it take to grow to that height? I’ve been pondering getting a small one or a sizable one; but im not sure of its growth rate.
I notice that you have a 12”-18” rock edge btwn your house and the start of your garden beds. I think Linda Vater does the same thing. Is that strictly for weed suppression or does it offer advantages that I am can’t think of?
We had the stone installed as a drip line. We like it for looks but mostly it is helpful for keeping water draining away from the foundation. It is about three to four feet deep
My dapple willow is 3 yrs old which I would like to tree form. Can I do this process anytime? When is the best time to limb them up? They grow like crazy.
In a northern garden, an artemisia needs not just full sun, but blazing sun, which it doesn't look like yours is getting because it's tucked under the salvia and the hydrangea stems that are bending over it due to the weight of their blooms. An artemisia also wants poor soil, good air circulation, not much (if any) supplemental water, and zero fertilizer. Yours would do so much better in a more open spot, paired with other drought tolerant plants. In a bed that's being watered enough to keep roses and hydrangeas happy, I would guess your artemisia is drowning.
The drone comment was catty. To each his own, that’s the beauty of gardening. Lots of us watch to learn and decide what works best for our space. More options the better. Somewhat surprised you would be like that🙁
My favorite couple ever !!!! You guys always bring me joy watching you two showing your hard work !!! Thank you
Our pleasure!

Awesome! Thank you!
Good Morning Eric and Christopher!! Love your tree. I think your greenhouse ornaments are so beautiful!! 🌲♥️
Thanks so much
I love the way you shaped the Tri-Color willow!! I may try that with one of mine! I have 3 young ones!!
Thanks for sharing and thank you so much for these detailed tours! I love it and never tire hearing about everything!!
I think it’s such a great way to have a willow that is more manageable
What an amazing garden!!!! Your hydrangeas are perfection. Thank you for the wonderful video.
Thank you too! We absolutely love your garden and often reference your videos for hydrangea sizes! Our next video is installing our own hydrangea room!
What an absolutely beautiful garden you guys have! ❤
Thanks so much!

Hello I love your garden it's so beautiful. 💯❤️👍👈
Thank you so much 🙂
Love love your garden❤ I am in TX. This year, everything had to be in shade, we did not enjoy garden, love your UA-cam ❤
That’s tough. Darn sun!
I love all of it! 😍 y’all could do a garden tour every week without anything changing and I would still be in awe every time! 🙌🏼
Aww thanks!
Aww thanks!

Wow! Ok I just went and bought the 8' jardin tower and planning on planting a multi-blue clematis! Drone shots look so good!
Awesome!!!!
You guys have one of the best gardens ever! I love all the large borders and plant varieties. Keep up the great videos!👍😎❤️
Thanks so much!

So nice of you
Thanks, and happy for explanation !
Glad it was helpful!

So nice of you! It has been a lot of fun
Happy to hear your comments about the Sonic Bloom and (not) re-blooming. Mine looked beautiful in spring but had fewer than 5 re-blooms during the summer, planted in 2019.
It will come
The ageratum looks great in the front flowerbed
It’s the best
@@growformegardening Have you noticed any deer sampling it? I have such a problem in my yard.
I just bought some new deer spray that I will start using from now on though
No deer issues on the ageratum at all actually
Your garden is just beautiful and you guys should be very proud of the work you have done. Can't wait to see how it looks next year.
Thanks so much!
I’d love to know the nursery you go to for your interesting trees! So much variety in your garden. It would be worth the drive for me to go take a look :)
Oh gosh we have travelled pretty far in our searching. So many places!
Bravo 👏 Your garden is stunning. Love the structure and textures.... but your Hydrangeas do it for me 😊 ❤❤❤
Thanks so much 😊

It doesn’t spread as much as it just get big!!
@@growformegardening Ok good, thanks for replying! 🇨🇦
Thanks for the garden tour. Your garden is beautiful!
Thanks for visiting
Your garden still looks great even this time of the year. I planted an Olympia clematis this spring. I have it growing with my pink Eden climbing rose. Bonny
Ooh that must be wonderful
Great job guys! Everything is beautiful. I can’t wait to see your new Hydrangea Room!
Very soon!
I love your vest Eric
I'll make sure he knows.... he really loves his vest.
I love your foundation plantings. I have been looking for ideas for my bare foundation. So very beautiful 💐🌾🌹🥀
Oh thank you!
I have a white pillar rose of Sharon too. About every third bloom is purple as there is a bit of reverting going on. Contacted Proven Winners and they said it happens and what to do about it. I however like it. Yours is beautiful.
Oh I bet it looks amazing
Just beautiful garden 🪴
Thank you kindly
Do you use your dried hydrangea blooms for decorating? I did a whole Christmas tree with white lights and dried hydrangea blooms and it was magical! Your gardens are so inspirational-they look so gorgeous I just want to copy everything!! 😊
That must have been beautiful!!!
Love the shaping of your dappled willows!! You have inspired me to do the same with mine!🌻
Go for it!
Too many beautiful specimens to mention! I love the adagio, I hope to find one. Looking forward to the new area!
It’s so pretty

Hi Guys, I see that you have some metal edging in your front garden. Can you tell me what kind it is and were to get it? Thanks. Love your garden tours.
The metal edging is about 4” in height. It was installed by a landscaper when we first moved in. I’m not sure the exact kind.
I use a kitchen Fork to remove weeds from my Moss scoop fork under
That’s a great idea!!
I love your gardens. How often do you water with the drip during the season? We’re close to you and I can’t figure out how to balance with the rain.
Also I love beech trees also but I can’t add any right now. We have beech leaf disease in our current ones.
This season was pretty strange. We didn’t run the drip often
@@growformegardening definitely a wet season.
Love that varigated vanderwolf pine, how long did it take to grow to that height? I’ve been pondering getting a small one or a sizable one; but im not sure of its growth rate.
It is four years old! Grows really quick. That circle bed has not changed since it was planted
What kind of grass do you have? Your gardens are beautiful!
I think it's a whole mix of stuff at this point. The only overseeding we have done is with a product called Thickr' Lawn
My dapple willow is 3 yrs old which I would like to tree form. Can I do this process anytime? When is the best time to limb them up? They grow like crazy.
Honestly I just did it last fall. I have to clean it up a little but for the most part it did great
Dressed up in a gown..oh my heavens I was roaring. Names are hard sometimes
Hahaha
What are you using on the hydrangeas for mites?
A bioadvanced spray. In our hydrangea video we talked about it
Got it. Bioadvanced 3 in 1
What do you use to keep Japanese beetles off your roses? Thanks
We spray with captain jacks and horticultural oil weekly
@@growformegardening Great Thanks
I wish we were neighbors!
Awww me too!

This is good to know. It definitely is getting more water than it wants! If it comes back next spring I will move it
The drone comment was catty. To each his own, that’s the beauty of gardening. Lots of us watch to learn and decide what works best for our space. More options the better. Somewhat surprised you would be like that🙁
Oh we aren’t against the drone at all! It’s just not a solution for our smaller space. It wasn’t meant to be catty at all.
Do you all know when is the right time to prune a large lilac bush? I have one and 1/2 of it is blooming and the other 1/2 is dead 💀
Anything dead you can take after at any time. Otherwise lilacs are best to prune immediately after they bloom!
@@growformegardening thank you!!
