I was fitted earlier this year for some p770s with stiff graphite shafts as an 18 handicapper going from off the shelf m2 irons. The difference is night and day and I've finished the summer season now playing off 13 (whs 11.3). Beautiful irons, that have completely transformed my game.
Redesigned based off the looks of the T100/150 perhaps? When I first saw these that was my initial thoughts. Ball felt good off the face and they sounded nice indoors but went with the Wilson Staff blades.
Exactly what I thought too, CP. And (almost) exactly what I did - put a blade/CB combo set in the bag. There's nothing better on the market than the Wilson's.
My guess as to why they brought out a new set was to blend with the new CB. Tried blending the MC with the 770 and they just don’t match up. They worked on matching the lofts and flight to go with the new CB. I’m going for a fitting next month.
