- While the Glock 28 has been available in other parts of the world, It is just now available to the US and isn't it strange one. It's the Glock that we never needed in my opinion.

A G26 for me, a G26X if Glock would design one.
Already got one and yes I would carry with a G42 as backup
The 28 is not new .. was meant for countries where civilians could not own military calibers (9 & 45 originally). If I recall correctly there is also a Glock 25 in .380 similar in size to a Glock 19 with the same market. Neither were brought into the US when produced ((evidently until now)).
You are right. I had one of these in 1998 in Brazil! there was also a G25 option at 380 ACP, with the g19 frame. 9mm and 45 were released to civilians about 5 years ago.

I would LOVE to see a "42X" or something like that. 380 in the 43x/48 Frame. Would be SO much better than the LCPs/Clones.

I have a 43x and a couple 9mm short/ 380 pistols ,the 28 is the same size as 26 ,just chambered in 9mm short, shoots smooth ,flat ,and less recoil for folks that need just that due to size or health issues.
Great gun for someone whose recoil sensitive. Could see this as a home defense gun for a stay at home mom for example.
I remember when I went for my first Glock. Of course I wanted the 26 for concealed carry, so I had one of the shop guys grab one out of stock. I was so excited and getting ready for checkout when another guy in the shop said “hey before you buy this , have you held the 43x?” Once I held the 43x it was love at first feel lol. Just felt amazing in my hand .. and is was nice and thing to boot. I’m definitely happy with my choice.
Same happened to me! Tried both and G43X was the one.
Tried the 48 loved the feel, now I carry a 43x and my girl carry’s the 42. Love the slim lines awesome guns!
@@hhstarwars I wanted to love the 43X but it was way snappy and had bad trigger slap. 48 was much better.
@@TOMVUTHEPIMP yea I have modded my 43x (which I know some people don’t like) to be more fitted for me. I have medium hands and it was just a good base for me, it’s the handgun I’m most accurate and consistent with.

Ruger makes the Security Six 380, Smith makes the Shield EZ in 380 & Bersa's been making the Thunder Plus for years, so there is a market for higher capacity, subcompact 380s. It's not for me right now, but if I develop some condition or old age catches up with me, then these might be perfect!

Lenny, you ask would we carry this? No, I wouldn’t. I like the G42. Great little shooter. The only reason I would carry .380 over 9mm is to get very small and light. G42 fits that perfectly.
But I do think this could be a great choice for older folks and women, who like my wife, are very sensitive to recoil.

A excellent video on the glock 28 in 380acp the glock 43x is a great gun but the G28 is a classic gun if you could find one buy it they are hard to find 🇺🇲💯👍

When are you going to have the stainless steel recoil spring for the glock 21 45acp gen 5 ?
It’s for people who are sensitive to the recoil of the 9mm. Hence you’ve got the reintroduction of the Beretta 84 and the Sig P365 in 380. Everyone it introducing full sized guns in the 380 acp.
yes, older shooters or ones with medical issues will find this easier to shoot. weight and extra grip will tame a .380 to be a pleasure. 9mm in small guns can be too snappy or difficult to shoot well. if you don't have those issues be greatfull.

Glock 42 with +2 round mag extensions. Streamlight laser, light combo and nite sites! Fits in any pocket, shorts, vest, shirt! Add Underwood ammo and its lightweight pkg!

I love the Glock 26 it's my everyday carry gun. I thought about getting a Glock 19 but with the Glock 26. I can get a 12 rounds extension or a Glock 19 magazine extension. With that being said it is a pretty heavy gun...
I have the exact same set up ...with the 12 round extension....more ammo and better grip..!
Weighs within an ounce of a regular single stack Shield. The Shield does carry much better though.
The reason for in my eyes is less recoil because of the weight.
Also more rounds with the double stack vs the 42 single stack.

I’d love to see a G42 staggered stack. Similar to the p365-380.
And a 9mm. It's time glock hopped out of the 80s lol. They don't have to change the internals. But a new design on the grip, magazine, different calibers, slide, sights and trigger would sell like hotcakes with the glock brand stamped on it. Then do custom, polished versions of the new designs at higher prices. Something for everyone.

E=MC2 is speed of light. F=MA is for force of a bullet. Force=Mass x Acceleration. Mass and acceleration have equal impact on Force respectively. Just FYI. Love the videos. You are the best!

E=MC2 is Einstein’s theory of special relativity. E=energy, M= the invariant rest mass, and C is the speed of light. This equation expresses that amount of energy that is available in a body at rest if the mass of the body was converted to energy. This is why nuclear bombs are so devastating. They use nuclear fission to convert a little bit off mass into a lot of energy. E=MC2 only applies to objects that aren’t moving, and therefore has nothing to do with velocity. The equation uses the speed of light because when mass is converted to pure energy, the energy is moving at the speed of light.
I wish that the extended controls for a gen 5 would come in, it’s been many months that they haven’t been available 😢
Glock 28 is the perfect carry pistol for some people. I've watched people shoot micro 9mm & micro 380 pistols & get a limp wrist failure after every shot. May as well just carry a Thompson Contender or a flintlock pistol. It's not always a grip issue. Often it's an arthritis issue or hand injury or sometimes a middle-age petite female issue. That's who is going to buy this pistol. I'll keep my micro 9mm pistols but they aren't for everybody as I've learned.
I think limp wrist failures would be more common in .380 than 9mm.
Can I get a single stack 10mm? I carry the 29 and would love something with this power in a slimmer format for bears

I like 380acp and would carry this due to faster shot placement and low recoil. I don't understand however Glock 26 holds ten rounds and this holds ten rounds? Would make more sense if it held 11 or 12+1.

I've shot the 42/43.....only 6 rounds and it's pretty thin for my hands......this is good for young/old shooters or recoil shy shooters.......my first hand gun was a 26.......I'd take that instead
Some people don't like the snap of 9mm so they prefer 380 like me I have bad arthritis in my hands and I love 380 or 32acp .

It is the right equation or F=MA which since we aren’t talking about light speed replace c squared with just acceleration. Leny was right.
It seems that Glock needs to do better in their innovation department. When Lenny Magill is left shaking his head asking "Why? What is the point of this?", Glock should take that as an alarm bell to stop coasting on their laurels. People will soon quit paying attention. Every time I turn around, Glock has a "new" model: the doohicky on this model fits onto the thingamajig of this other model making a BRAND NEW GLOCK MODEL!! A real game changer! Please. Lenny, you said it right in the description. It's the Glock we never needed. That can describe a bunch of recent Glock "innovations" in my opinion. Excellent video, Lenny. Keep up the great work.

You are refuring to F=ma force equals mass multiplied by acceleration.

You're correct, but that is the relativistic formula for energy. Energy (kinetic energy) is also 1/2m*v^2 (half the mass times the velocity squared) in more Newtonian physics.

Need a "42X." Like a 42 slide with 48 grip and 10 round single stack.
The reason I don’t EDC micro carry’s etc .. when things truly go down .. you want something with a handle .. 48mos for me .
From my research 380 99 grain jacketed hollow point from federal is perfectly adequate personal defense ammo.
I love my 43X I don’t have a need for the 42 or 28. I am a LEO and I carry the 21 as my duty weapon and the 43X on my ankle as a back up.

43x is nice only thing glock would do is make the grip longer and have a 15 round over all nice video ✌️
I believe there is aftermarket 15 rounds that are reliable. Watch Colion Noirs video on 43x
Check out the 15 round mags for the 43x made by Sheild Arms. They even have an installable extended baseplate that adds 5 rounds to the capacity.
PSA plans to launch (hopefully soon) another model in their Dagger line that will have parts compatible with the Glock 43X, including the magazine. The PSA magazine will have a 15 round capacity. It will be interesting to see how the PSA mag's price compares to that of the Shield Arms mag.
Excellent video about the new Glock 28 made in a USA. I would definitely go for the Glock 43X much much better.
Lenny, how many rounds of 30 Super Carry do you think a Glock 43X-sized gun would hold? If it can hold 15 with the Shield Arms mags, I bet it'd hold 18-19 of 30SC.

I have a Glock 42, but the ammo capacity is lacking. Living in Florida I do a fair bit of kayak camping, and Glocks are stupid easy to completely tear down and clean when you accidentally go swimming. I would buy this for a kayak gun since I have a ton of .380 ammo.
I'm an S&W guy. Also I only pocket carry. Depending on my shorts/pants, it's either a bodyguard .380 or shield 9mm. If you don't think a shield size pistol can be pocketed, you just need deep pockets. I've found the LAPG operator tactical shorts and pants are the best in terms of quality and value. $30 for the shorts, $38 for the pants.

Well, less felt recoil, fits 36 holsters, wider grip for those with bigger hands, less over penetration concerns (possibly) oh! A collectors item.

This has a place if you are a new shooter or recoil sensitive and small framed. Hide a 26 easier than a 19 because of size of the grip. Personally I wouldn’t buy this mostly because I have two 380’s that I carry often and the 28 doesn’t check any boxes I don’t already have covered.

I really would love a Glock 42x!
Why? For people with weak hand strength or arthritis who find the G42 kicks too much. Also nice that it uses 10/12 and 15/17 round mags and can be fitted with the NY 1 trigger spring and LTT Striker Control Device.
Men with bigger hands but arthritic hands may like them due to less recoil. And there is nothing wrong with having options. They're made in the US to avoid import points.
I have the 42 with +2 mag extensions that I carry daily, and never had an issue with it. I am 99 percent sure I will never buy one of these unless they made a 19 sized one.

Probably , being heavier, the felt recoil would be less. (Recoil is the same regardless of handgun weight, but a heavier weapon spreads out the recoil impulse over a longer period...)
at least the 26 takes all the mags from glock 26, 19, 17 from 10 rounds to 33 does the 380 have those options ? noop

But that's because the .380 was the maximum caliber allowed.

More capacity double stacked mag. More like a .380 version of the 9mm G26. G42 for the win in my opinion.
Remeber when it was designed and who it was designed for. You can’t pick it up 25 years after the fact and compare it to what we have today and try to figure out what Glock was doing. It was absolutely relevant when they designed it and for who they designed it for.

I normally carry a G27 - I really can't see the advantage of a G27 sized .380. The G42 is a sweet shooter -- I would carry the G42.
Glock needs to do a 30 super carry over any new 380 guns. 30sc blows away 380 ballistically, and at least with the 30sc HST rounds, it's doing exactly the same as the 9mm HST rounds. If S&W added 3 capacity to their 30sc Shiled Plus, then I'm assuming Glock can do a 13+1 43x in 30sc, or a 13+1 flush fit magazine in a Glock 26 30sc, or even a 19+1 30sc Glock 19.
I like the 30sc too but what would be the point of doing it when you just stated the ballistics are no different than 9mm? I get it may come with more bullets but even then you can just get a Glock 26 or 43x
@@DOVFGP The point is that your 30sc gun will have at least 3 more rounds, so you can kill 3 more werewolves with those extra rounds.
Shield Plus added 3 rounds to their 9mm magazines, so Glock engineers should be able to do the same, or more with their double stack magazines.
While it is certainly a viable pistol, I see it more as a collectors piece, and I will probably add one to my collection.
It was very successful in Brazil until 2019, along with the g25, which I have. here it was known as baby glock

It’s been said before, but Glock really needs to look at a Glock 42X. Shield arms would probably make a 15 round magazine work for that platform. Or maybe a Glock in 380 with similar dimensions of the Glock 48?

I understand what you mean about the .380/ 9mm. But my wife can not handle the 9mm, but she can the .380. she has the 42. I will be looking into the 28.
Nice video. Your math on ballistic energy is wrong, E=V x M is correct not E=MC². E=MC² is for calculating total energy for any given amount of mass that is totally converted to energy, like a nuke.
This gun was for the collectors period.
