I carried G26 for manny years as my EDC with a 12 round magazine and this was IMO the Best Carry Glock for self defense use! IMO, the G42 is a much better choice for the .380 round for a carry gun!
I own several Glocks, including the Glock 42. When I heard they were going to come out with a Glock 28, it piqued my interest. Unfortunately, the issues reported in gun tuber videos disappointed me. I ended up getting the Ruger security 380 instead. Light racking, 15+1 capacity in a size similar to Glock 19. Been reliable though 500+ rounds.
Parts are interchangeable I changed by connector and added extended slide release… However, I did have to MODIFY the follower on the Pearce +2 Basel plates to make them work. The baseplate locking tab is too long as the .380 Is “Kurts” and the mag wall is shorter from front to back. OEM +2’a will be here probably in a couple of months. I’ve seen them online but haven’t seen a SKU# as of yet…
If glock quit marketing gen 3 then they would lose a massive chunk of the current market that is still in favor of the gen 3. Honestly I prefer Gen 3 not just because theyre a bit sturdier but also because a lot of third parties make lots of new cool stuff like Franklin armory.
I believe if this would have been available way back when it would have probably sold great because of the capacity. Now, I kind of doubt it. I have the little double stack ruger 380 more rounds, smaller package but, even though the Ruger has great sights it is hard to shoot. This Glock would be way more enjoyable to shoot. There is no free lunch. If it is good to shoot. Concealment and Weight suffer.
Excellent video. But, I’d rather have the larger Glock 25. Better yet would be a Glock 42X, single stack.

42 is too small for regular to large handed people.
I've carried the 26 since Gen 4 came out. Install a +2 baseplate on a mag, and this thing is decent to hold and cc with little printing.

Could just get a glock 26. Its an ounce heavier. But then again like many other people I just like .380's.
The glock 25 only for Police in U.S.A only glock 28 is how made in U.S.A if you could find one buy it they are hard to find
I bought one. The practical accuracy and speed is incredible. But the magazine release is just terrible.
