- In this firearms unboxing video I unbox a Glock pistol I have wanted ever since I found out it existed. Not because of how it worked but because there were so few of them in the U.S. Now I have one as Glock has made a limited run of U.S. versions. I am very excited to have this in my collection.

One point I want to add about the Glock 18. There are actually no transferable Glock 18 pistols in the United States. There are some transferable Glock "switches" that were registered with the batf prior to May of 1986.
The NFA specialist UA-camr "Big Shooterist" explains the situation better than I can explain. His FFL actually has a post 1986 dealer sample Glock 18.
I have held a post sample G18 too. My dealer has one on a law letter and it is unfired.

I've seen a couple of Glock 28 reviews, and it looks like it's the only Glock that does not run reliably. It's the sucky Glocky.

Please let me know if you can shoot 10 + 1 in it? All the other channels I load to seven or eight probably because it will choke? Thanks. I ordered one a few weeks ago...
I sure. I have not gotten it to the range yet.
If you have issues with it cycling try a +p in the chamber then a full 10 round
mag of standard pressure. Mine took 200 rounds of 95g fmj loaded this way before I got reliable cycling. I used a 20 round box of +p Underwood’s loading of the 90g XTP for my chamber rounds. Also, you really do have to pay attention to limp-wristing this gun, its a soft shooter and will lull you into complacency, then you get failure to extract issues even after its broken in. Mine runs like a top now. Good luck.

@@brianbankston5922 thanks for the great idea! Yeah my brothers Glock 42 was jamming for him. I shot it same ammo same trip no problem. He was not holding it tight enough.

I live in Brazil and nowadays it's very, very difficult to buy a military caliber, you have to be a sporting shooter and there are a lot of restrictions and conditions you have to do and prove every single year to mantain those guns, otherwise the government will took it from you. All these rules were imposed by a communist president (Lula).
For people who need a permit to carry, now it's not possible to have military calibers for that pourpose, which is my case. So, I bought one Glock 28 to conceal carry. I picked up one that comes with tritium 3 dots sights and 3 magazines (1 with 10r and 2 extended with 11r). I liked it very much, it's very conceable, impressive precise, very accurate, and extremely manageable (recoil control is so easy). The cons: magazines quality isn't that good, recoil springs are very, very stiff (it likes hot ammo), magazine release is really difficult, and the trigger is heavy.
Even so, I consider a very good gun for its purpose.

2:17 That's actually not true. Brazilians can own firearms in military calibers. What is restricted for sales to Brazilians is the "special" military ammo. There are plenty of Smith & Wesson m&p15 rifles (in 5.56mm NATO) in the country.
Although with what President Lula wants to do who knows what the future holds. Lula has already begun repealing all the executive orders that Bolsonaro put in place that made guns easier to get.
