Trolling for yellowbelly and redfin at Lake Eildon from my kayak

- I went kayak fishing at Lake Eildon. The target species was redfin, but it was the yellowbelly, or Golden Perch that stole the show. I was trolling lures from my SafariH20 Murray kayak.

I have had many good sessions up at Lake Eildon catching reddies & yellas. The yellas always hit hard and will wrap you around a snag if they get the chance and the reddies are the best eating fish of them all. Great video mate :)
Well done Robbie, a great feed for you and your Dad. Ps, I'm glad you got your trolling and trawling sorted out, so many you tubers say they are trawling when they're actually trolling.
Fished a few rivers in that area, plenty of redfin, trout & blackfish - never actually fished the lake, but spent many a good time camping there - great memories, thanks for the vid..

Nice feed of yellas Robbie. Getting out and about exploring new fishing spots is all part of the adventure and in many ways more rewarding when you find a new fishing spot
