Just wanted to say thank you to everyone who has been praying for my hubby and I. He had his Pulmonary specialist appointment last week and found out he might be able to come off the oxygen after his hernia surgery. We ask you to please continue to pray for us. God Bless.
Mandy here’s your parchment trick to make it easy! When your parchment paper is being unreasonably it means your parchment is parched! Take your paper and run it under water so it’s all lightly wet. Wring it out as much as possible and put it in your baking dish and spread it out. It will keep its shape and will NOT affect your baking at all, just make it easier for you! I was given this hack from a professional baker- I’m a semi pro and used to use the cutting edge hack but this is so much easier! Now you’ll be ranked as semi-semi pro. By the way I watched your holiday cookie video where you used prepared sugar cookie batter and made it into wreaths shapes and the center baked together. You can always save your shape as long as you do it BEFORE they cool. The easiest way to make a circle is use a piping tip, press the wide bottom of the tip into the cookie center. It will come out clean and round! Love your show, Steven is coming along nicely as a professional taster. Very proud of his dedication to not only reading the comments but helping you with the tasting duties and coming up with extra ideas with ingredients. He might be due for a raise! Love you both and still loving and missing Missy Gracie Lou!
I love that you two have a wonderful sense of humor! Watching you two interact here made me feel almost like I was in your kitchen, spending fun time with friends.😃
I love these recipes!! Don't you love that air fryer? My husband and I both were in the hospital at the same time and our 2 adult sons learned all types of things that could be cooked quicker and better than the microwave or oven. I enjoy hearing you talk about your faith also. I'm a Christian and love to hear others not shy away from spreading the Lord's name. 🙏🏻 Thank you!!
Hey Mandy!! The easiest way for me to use parchment paper is to roll it in a ball, then press it out again with your hands, it makes it manageable for sure! Steven is a great Common Tater Love the shirt🤣 My hubby had a TShirt the same color, but it represented the Hostess Cupcake Swirl on it, cause that was his nick name at work(Cupcake)I packed him a cake cake everyday in his lunchbox so it stuck🤣 The guys also had a cup cake ornament made for him one Christmas😀😀 Great Video❤️❤️
These three ingredient recipes are all great. I have done the stuffed sweet peppers and they are great! A tip for anyone on WW, these are "point friendly" snacks. Loved the crescent roll-quacomole-bacon snack! Yum! Really these are all delicious looking! Thank you so much Mandy! Steven, you're doing a great job as the Common-Tater! Loved Miss Gracie-Lou's appearances! Have a wonderful week! 🙏💕😊
Watching with my3 month old puppy asleep on my lap and Steven was reading Ann’s comment. When he said Ann’s cat’s name, Oliver, he raised his head up. I was so proud! You see, when I got him at 12 weeks old, his name was Hugo. I thought he looked like an Oliver!! HE KNOWS HIS NAME!!! Thank you for sharing your videos with us! Love the way you all interact with each other. Miss when Cole isn’t with you! Growing boy to man that he is! Take care!
Omgoodness how do you keep a straight face ever?! I've been married a looong time and I have a man that keeps me laughing ! What a blessing you both are!
I make a dip with cream cheese on the bottom, top with no bean chili and top with shredded Mexican cheese. It’s nice to see Gracie Lou. She is so sweet. I love the easy dessert. Great recipes forSuper Bowl.❤️
Mandy, I wish I had a special kitchen trick for you, but I don’t. What I do have is a huge appreciation for your recipes and making it fun. It’s funny how Gracie has an admirer cause my doggy just loves to see Gracie when she meows for cheese, my doggy will run up to the tv and wants to play with her. Love y’all from Oregon 😘
Mandy and Steven love how loving and full of fun you all have. A couple ideas for pretzel candy. Instead of M & M use a pecan or a peanut M & M Also the mini rollos have no wrappers. Also for the parchment paper for fudge cut your paper as wide as your pan and cut 2 strips and criss cross them in the pan. Fits nicely and just lift out the paper with excess. Peppers can be wrapped in egg roll wrappers after they are stuffed. That way they are all contained with a crispy out side. Enjoy the video today.😂😇
Mandy and Steven, your videos are the highlight of my days when they are on. You bring much laughter and joy to this older lady and I just love your whole family. Thank you for all you do and share. I've tried several of your recipes and have never been disappointed. Love to Gracie Lou too ❤ 😻
My husband told me for the first few years of our marriage that he was allergic to mustard. I went with it for awhile until I found out he was just extremely picky. I eventually started adding mustard to various recipes that required it, and there were no signs of reactions. I finally made a recipe where one of the main ingredients in the sauce was mustard. He LoVeD it! I called him out on his “allergy” and he finally confessed he just didn’t like it 😂
Hey Mandy! I love your channel so much. The trick you used for the parchment paper was for foil! A great way to get parchment paper to lay down is to crumble it up like your throwing it in the trash, then uncrumble it and it will lay flat. A tip from one baker/cook to another!!!❤❤❤
Oh my goodness! 😆 When Steven did the 'reporting in' demonstration, Mandy, you had that 'Beam me up Scotty' look on your face 🤣 😂 😆 You two really crack me up, you should call your channel, 'Dinner and a show.' I love it, I look forward to your next video all the time. Love you guys
@Mandy in the Making That is too funny. Your channel is not only a cooking channel, it's also very entertaining and seeing it coming from such a sweet wholesome southern family warms my heart and it's something I look forward to seeing every time you post a new video, and with you guys, we never know what to expect.....😂😆😂
big fan love these vidoes. 1)crumble up the parchment paper(thats the trick i use).2) get the non bagged spinach:that way you can cut off all the stems at once. give gracey a cheese treat for me!
I love to watch the two of you it is wonderful. I love how easy it is to make what you make and put my own spin on it to maybe feed my pocket eater daughter. Can't wait to try things to feed my grandsons in a few months. Please keep giving great recipes to try. If gonna make anything off UA-cam I love what I see from you. Thank you so very much for that. As always Love ❣️❣️ and Hugs 🤗🤗🤗 from Sheboygan, WI.
Oh my Mandy I have done similar to what you did with the little peppers with the regular large ones to use them up but just cutting them into the sections that show on the big peppers. I used my leftover stuffing with sausage in it I also have used leftover chicken and rice casserole and put sharp cheddar on top they were crazy good so I am definitely going to try it with the cheese spread you showed I am a cream cheese lover I could just eat it plain 😆 I just love you so much with all your ideas and I have used many of them. Love you so much there isn't a day that goes by that you are not on my TV you are so fortunate to have such a beautiful family. Blessings to you all 💘
Great appetizers! Steven was in fine form this episode. I absolutely love the banter and humor between the two of you! This is by far my favorite episode just because you both are having so much fun.
Thank you for being so kind, sweet and for sharing those recipes..I have game night at my house occasionally and those recipes look easy plus delicious. Love you and Steven since you both are an amazing couple. ❤️❤️ I miss my hubby who passed away coming up on 1yr Valentine's day.
Hi Mandy, my favorite way to make the Rolo and pretzel snack is to put a pecan or pecan half on top. It’s like a turtle. The m&m way is chocolate on chocolate. That’s too much of the same thing. I hope you’ll try it with the pecan. It’s the best snack ever! I love your whole family including the cat.
Mandy we are going to need to hear the Walmart story now lol. I’ve watched you for a long time and don’t remember you ever sharing this. Love you and your family and especially the new common tatter segment.
Steven makes me laugh and your reaction to him is hilarious. Love watching your family interact, including Gracie. I have tried many of you4 recipes and we have liked them all . Thank you for sharing .🥰
Great recipes Mandy and Steven, the Fudge looks Amazing. I melt my Chocolate Chips and Sweetened Condensed Milk in theMicrowave at 30 second intervals until melted.
Thank you for these easy appetizers! I've made the Rolo pretzels before but put half a pecan on top. Another easy one is popped popcorn (I use the microwave kind) drizzled with melted white chocolate. I used a spoon to drizzle the white chocolate and stirred it often to distribute it. It's a great salty/sweet treat.
Mandy &Steven, I Just love watching the 2 of you. I am so glad for quick easy & wonderful recipes you share. I start to laugh at times while cooking, it is about Steven & cream cheese. My dear husband has asked me to not use ground chicken or turkey. He thinks it is one of the most evil foods. But he loves chicken.? Well when I get groceries I try to get at least 2 to 4 pounds. I use it and don't tell him. Things were getting tight at the end of October & I needed to get a few groceries, I bought ground chicken, then made chili, he said it was great, even ate leftovers, I then made "beef " barley soup. None was left 2 days later. He asked me what I did different I told him I just used ground chicken & you didn't get sick. The look on his face was confusion, & how. Then when he went to the grocery store he brought back ground chicken, I asked him why , he said do you know how much less it is than ground beef. He hasn't said any thing about it. Our girls ask You still cooking ground chicken for Dad, I tell them yes they just laugh. Steven you will survive most cream cheese things.
Hey Mandy! My mom used to make something very similar to the bean dip...she would cook a pound of ground beef and taco seasoning, drain it, then mix in a can of refried beans and a jar of salsa. She'd add a thick layer of cheese and bake it; once it came out of the oven, she would top it with sour cream & serve it with Tortilla chips for dinner. Honestly, we used to call it dog food because it was ugly BUT it was DELICIOUS!!
Hi Guy's! Love you all so much, you make my day! I ask my husband how he likes new recipes and he will say, "It is ok or it's alright", the only way I know he really likes it is if he goes back for seconds. I really wish he was more willing to or try new things, he is very picky. We have one of my adult children living with us and helping us out. He gives a lot of input into what I make. Made a chicken in the crackpot last week that called for white wine only a 1/4 cup and Vermouth 2 tablespoons and some seasonings, easy through in crackpot. The husband ate it and said it was alright. Son said he didn't like the taste but was trying to eat it, I laughed at the look on his face and said, "You don't have to eat it" 😂 I liked it! They both like oreos and fudge so I will be trying this!
Hi Mandy, Usually that method with the tin is if you use aluminium foil. I do that myself. I usually cut the parchment paper, slits from the corner or cut a square out of corner so it looks like a cross and fits in the tin. its easier to show than describe
I've made the Oreo fudge before. You have to "drain" the cookie pieces in a colander first so your fudge will be whiter and not so "muddy" looking. Love your channel!❤
Mandy, all of these recipes look SO good. I especially can’t wait to try the guacamole-bacon-biscuit one. YUM! Now for Stephen’s comment, “It’s rich but… “ I was on the edge of my chair waiting for him to say “It’s rich but light”. We had a friend that after having a piece of Dream Pie (which is a well known Jello Pudding Pie) that I made, said “It’s light but rich”. I could absolutely see Stephen say that!!
Okay, not me sitting here watching this video and laughing so loud, my son, hubby and both cats, came running. You both just slay me with your banter. My son is not a fan of anything really in the crockpot, so when I recreate your goodies, it is a chore to get him to try them. But as far as cream cheese, cheddar cheese, or any cheese for that matter, the MORE THE BETTER!!! Hugs to you both.
I make similar bean dip! We do beans, sour cream, pace, cheese then layer another round on top. It is amazing! Always asked for to bring to parties! 😍 love watching you all!
Mandy I don’t either shop at Walmart anymore Can’t take it in there I love all your recipes I just can’t eat hot spicy foods Stephen and You just make me so happy watching you both You make laugh so much God bless you 🙏🏻☮️✝️
I'm so happy I found you because all your recipes are basic things that we have in our home or can easily get. I sent so many of your recipes for myself. Thank you for doing this and as an animal lover Gracie Lou is so pretty.
Watching you and your husband is such a delight. You all are the cutest couple on you tube. And I love Gracie Lou. You all bring happiness to a gloomy day. Lark 🤗👍❤️
My father in law makes 2 ingredient peanut butter fudge and it’s so easy and yummy! He takes a can/tub/container of premade cake frosting, vanilla flavor, and a 16 oz. jar of creamy peanut butter. Warms them both in the microwave for a few seconds until melty and smooth, mix them together and let set in the fridge! Add M&Ms if you want! It’s so good, he sent my son home with some yesterday and we love it!!
Lol. Ya'll are so adorable. I've been having a rough time lately and I just saw this video. You are just what I needed right now. ❤ ( I've been watching ya'll for a couple years but this one came up in my scrolling. Must have known that I needed cheering up)
Mandy to prepare the parchment, turn the casserole dish over. Use your thumb and forefinger to just pinch at each corner. Then put the parchment on the counter and fold along the lines up to each corner. Where the parchment comes together at each corner, just make one slit with your scissors up to the main line. Put the parchment into your casserole now and where you’ve cut at the corners, the parchment could just overlap. I hope this makes sense because it is much easier to watch a demo. Have fun with it. Good luck. I really enjoy your videos!
I totally forgot about making the pretzel recipe that is similar to yours. Square pretzels candy kiss of your choice heat in oven til soft then take out and put an m&m on it. So good.
Mandy, I got 4 min into this video and laughed so hard at the Scooter story! I have cracked ribs so it hurt to laugh but I needed it. My husband will not touch seafood at all and we had a tiff over contamination on a plate (he doesn't like things touching each other) I had a moment and brought up the sins of his food preferences and how I already raised a child and before I walked out of the room I said BTW For 9 years you have been eating anchovies in our pasta sauce I busted out laughing and he looked so confused! i'm going to finish your video now and thank you for being you!
I’m so glad you posted a video today. I’m having such a bad day today & you brighten my day up. I love your appetizers. I used the potatoes bombs and the sausage rotel and cream cheese for new years. There wasn’t a crumb yet. And the sausage one I made over 100 of them. Not one lick left. So easy. Thank you so much. I love you and Stephen together. It’s so nice to see. I just watched the episode of your first date in detail with the s’mores dessert batter chatter!! I loved it!! And the pics you showed, my mom and couldn’t believe how much cole looks like Stephen!! Oh my word, your pics were so beautiful. We loved it. Keep up the good work!! My family loves your family. Cole is such a sweet boy. When he talks it’s always something cute or funny!! Thanks Mandy!!
Ya’ll are too funny! I’ve been watching your channel for a good minute but I’ve never commented before. I love the back and forth with you and Steven. Please keep the delicious recipes coming!
PS: I took the chicken bubble-up bake recipe, and adapted it to make a Reuben Bubble Up Bake with corned beef, Swiss cheese and sauerkraut! It's FABULOUS!!
Y’all are the cutest! You remind me of my husband and I ❤ I’m going to try the Oreo Fudge with the the Lemon Oreos. Thank for these simple, but delicious recipes!
Hi Mandy I watch u all the time. I am from ambridge Pennsylvania. Here is a recipe for you. Called sassy Frank's 2 cans of sauce 1 can of paste 1 can tomato soup. Had Worcestershire sauce and brown sugar. Add 1 to 2 packages. Green pepper 🫑 and onion 🧅. Let it simmer until it's warm enough to eat. You serve with homemade mash potatoes. This is my favorite recipe my mom made me when I was young child. I hope you like this recipe too. Enjoy God bless you and your family
Kitchen tip with the wax paper try and ball it up and straighten it back out to form it's shape better! I saw mama Mel do it on one of her videos and it's a life saver!!
Enjoy your videos. The oreo recipe you may want to add a tablespoon of salted butter to take the sweet edge off. Like that idea. If a recipe has more than 4 ingredients in it I won't make it. One that we loved was a can of cream of chicken soup. Using the small shell pasta with enough water to cover them to cook. Don't drain the water out. Should be enough water left to dilute the soup. Like eating it with salty chips. So easy. Thanks for all you do and sharing with us.
I remember the sloppy Joe casserole that Steven hated and I remember he described the taste as “musty” because of all of the excess cream cheese that’s the same reason my brother doesn’t like cream cheese he thinks it tastes “musty”. I love watching you guys and I love your recipes I would try the stuffed peppers with the cheese without cooking them as I love the crunch of the sweet bell peppers just add the cheese and honey and eat them as an appetizer or lunch especially in the summertime no heating necessary. God Bless I try and keep you all in my prayers.🙏🏼💞
Mandy I am planning our weekend snacks and Oreo fudge and bean dip will be on it. Thank you. You and Steven always make me laugh. Thank you for a spark of sunshine on this cold , gray Pennsylvania afternoon.
Hi Mandy, i always look forward to your videos. I have tried many recipies and they have turned into some of our favorite meals, especially when I'm in a rut and have no idea what to get, I think oh Mandy will know...Lol! And most of the time you and my air fryer come through...haha! Love ya. Thank you for being you! Still loving Stevens WOW!...lol
I'm loving how easy that bean dip was and it looks delicious. We're going to try that one. Love the peppers in the air fryer. The Oreo cookie fudge we're definitely going to try. My boys are Oreo cookie people. Those crescent roll bread with guacamole and bacon look so good. So many good ideas. Some of your recipes have saved me when I absolutely was stumped for what to make for dinner. Thank you for sharing your videos.😊
I made the creamy chicken taco soup this week. WoW. I used pinto beans because that is what I had on the shelf. I liked that it did not make a huge amount but enough for a couple of meals. Thanks so much. You guys are such a hoot to watch and your recipes are really good and easy. Thanks.
I love your videos especially when you and Steven interact. You seem so great together, lots of laughter. I just celebrated our 49 wedding anniversary in January. Believe me, the ability to laugh together is key to a lasting marriage. Your recipes looked great, also.
I am so going to try these stuffed mini, sweet peppers! They look delicious with that toasty brown, bubbly cheese! Tell you what I’m going to put some hot honey on the top though just for a little kick I bet it’s really good! Thank you for sharing this!🙏❤️😁
Hi from Australia. First time watching your videos. I love recipes that are economical to make, especially these days, and that taste good with few ingredients. I’ve subscribed and I’m looking forward to more of your videos. TFS.
I dearly love watching y’all. Cole is a sweetheart and Steven is the best Common Tator that’s ever been. Many I love you bunches. Your mistakes or forgetfulness reminds me of me I’m also good at it lol. God Bless You from Sweet Home Alabama.
That fudge looks so good! I want to make that for Valentine’s Day with pink sprinkles on top! Update: I made the fudge and it tastes like my favorite candy bar - Hersheys cookies and creme. 10/10!!
With the parchment, cut on side to fit exactly the width but hanging over the length, then do the opposite sides the same, making a sling. It's the bunches up corners that make it cumbersome. By the way, you guys have me in stitches a LOT of the time (this time it was the "reporting back" part where Steven does the sound effects and Mandy has the serious look, then Steven's explaining) 😂
I made the Rolo treats two times during Christmas. We did square too. I made both dark and milk chocolate rolos. Gave a choice to people that like them. They do sell them wrapped. I always think they taste different though and couldn’t find them during Christmas. I press or tap. Depends how melted they are.
Just wanted to say thank you to everyone who has been praying for my hubby and I. He had his Pulmonary specialist appointment last week and found out he might be able to come off the oxygen after his hernia surgery. We ask you to please continue to pray for us. God Bless.
Always 👍💛🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
You got it 🙏 ❤️
🙏
Still praying 🙏❤️
Always! 🙏
I for one would love to hear your "Why I don't shop at Walmart anymore" story 👍🏻
Can’t wait for the Walmart story😊🎉❤🎉
I love recipes that don't use a bunch of ingredients. Thank you!

Bet that Oreo fudge would be less sweet and rich with a half block of cream cheese in it! Lol
Your tip works great!
Best hack ever! I always do this now! 🙂

Hahaha!! Too funny!
That's pretty genius!! Lol 😆
I say that about mayonnaise 😂
My ex was the same with ground turkey. It took him a year before he caught me using it. He never had a problem after that 🤣
Lol!! I tell everyone I’m allergic to seafood!

Just crumple up your parchment paper into a ball, uncrumple it and it forms easily to your pan. Wetting it beforehand helps, too.

Great appetizers! Steven was in fine form this episode. I absolutely love the banter and humor between the two of you! This is by far my favorite episode just because you both are having so much fun.
A touch of butter in the bottom of the dish will help hold the parchment paper in place.

I loved the crescent cups. I had some grape tomatoes I wanted to use up so I cut them in half and put a tomato half on top… very tasty!

I agree
1️⃣0️⃣0️⃣% AGREED 👍 ‼️
Agreed! It's not my favorite store to begin with!
Honestly, I won't shop there anymore. If they act that way towards Mandy....bye walmart.
She did share the story on one of the more recent videos. Basically, a Walmart employee was extremely rude to her.
What Lori said plus spray dish with Pam so parchment paper has something to stick to…works great. Thanks for the yummy ideas.
Mandy, thanks for the links to your kitchen gadget favorites, most requested & must haves!❤
Steven makes me laugh and your reaction to him is hilarious. Love watching your family interact, including Gracie. I have tried many of you4 recipes and we have liked them all . Thank you for sharing .🥰

You and Steven are such a pair! Love watching you two and then, of course, the recipes!!
Great episode 🥰 I smiled a lot at yours and Streve'e silliness 🥰
Love the laughter as well as the recipes. All of these sound so yummy and easy to do.
You two are so cute together. I really enjoy your videos, Mandy and Steve is the perfect taste tester. ❤
You and your husband are the funniest I just love to watch you and your son is the cutest. You make me feel good 😊
Love you both thank you for sharing food & Joy of everyday living🙏💛💚
Y’all are a HOOT! Thank you for all these awesome videos. I laughed so hard😂
Lol. Ya'll are so adorable. I've been having a rough time lately and I just saw this video. You are just what I needed right now. ❤ ( I've been watching ya'll for a couple years but this one came up in my scrolling. Must have known that I needed cheering up)
It all looked great you two are so fun to watch Thank you for sharing ♥️♥️♥️
Mandy to prepare the parchment, turn the casserole dish over. Use your thumb and forefinger to just pinch at each corner. Then put the parchment on the counter and fold along the lines up to each corner. Where the parchment comes together at each corner, just make one slit with your scissors up to the main line. Put the parchment into your casserole now and where you’ve cut at the corners, the parchment could just overlap. I hope this makes sense because it is much easier to watch a demo. Have fun with it. Good luck. I really enjoy your videos!
I just wanted to tell you that I just really enjoy watching your videos you just seem so really and relatable. I can’t wait to try your recipes
Gonna try "em. I've had the pretzels with Rolos. Addictive !!
LOVE watching you two!! Always look forward to your videos!! And the recipes are SO GOOD!! Will definitely be trying a few of these!! Thanks so much!!
PS: I took the chicken bubble-up bake recipe, and adapted it to make a Reuben Bubble Up Bake with corned beef, Swiss cheese and sauerkraut! It's FABULOUS!!
Good evening Mandy and Steven and thank you for sharing your yummy appetizers
I love Stephen he is so silly when he tries what you make it makes me want to try the recipes
Kitchen tip with the wax paper try and ball it up and straighten it back out to form it's shape better! I saw mama Mel do it on one of her videos and it's a life saver!!
I love guacamole! The crescent cups look so good. And along Sugeons the bean dip is heaven! Thanks Mandy 🌶️🧀🥠🍫
The common tater shirt is hilarious. I needed a good giggle. Thanks
Made the bean dip for the super bowl. It was so good ,hubby also liked it. That's a keeper.
Mandy
I am planning our weekend snacks and Oreo fudge and bean dip will be on it.
11/19/23 I am so proud of you for not shopping at Walmart. Y’all are adorable !
you guys are funny. lol Steven should be a food critic for food network. lol he describes every bit of food lol
Mandy you and Steve make my day when I watch yall I love the bloopers . This video made me laugh really loud almost woke up the house.
I made the creamy chicken taco soup this week. WoW. I used pinto beans because that is what I had on the shelf. I liked that it did not make a huge amount but enough for a couple of meals. Thanks so much. You guys are such a hoot to watch and your recipes are really good and easy. Thanks.
Steven sounds like he is talking about Crockpot Crack Chicken. That would be exactly how I would describe it!! 😁
Gracie is such a pretty little cat. It makes me laugh when she get excited about cheese. Watching your show always makes me smile, thanks.
I love it common tater great shirt Steven is soooooo funny. 👍👍👍
Hi Mandy! We make those pretzels with rolos but instead of the m&m we place a pecan on top. Just delicious!
That fudge looks so good! I want to make that for Valentine’s Day with pink sprinkles on top!
Update: I made the fudge and it tastes like my favorite candy bar - Hersheys cookies and creme. 10/10!!
You are both so adorable!! I love your relationship!!
I love the easy mexi-dips...You can also cook up some chorizo and add it to the refried beans...sooo good!
Yummo!!! Will be making all very soon... thank you 😊
You two are so much fun! You share great recipes but always make me laugh, too!
I can’t wait to try this fudge, I don’t eat anything sweet but I can’t resist this recipe Mandy❤🌲🌹
I made the Rolo treats two times during Christmas. We did square too. I made both dark and milk chocolate rolos. Gave a choice to people that like them. They do sell them wrapped. I always think they taste different though and couldn’t find them during Christmas. I press or tap. Depends how melted they are.
