Did anybody else spy the missing Hershey Kiss hiding amongst the foil wrappers? Nobody ate it Mandy, it was making a bold escape. Although escaping to the trash can may not have been the original plan. Great to still be his "hot honey." Love you guys, God bless.
Also....Steven, keep calling her your "hot honey" bc the romance between you two is so amazingly beautiful....You both are so blessed to have each other, HaPpY Holidays to your family!!
"Git-together!" Makes my old Texas church-goin heart happy. I guess "party" sounded too sinful, so we had "git-togethers" in my youth. Merry Christmas to you and your sweet family. 🎄
You're sloppy joe slices reminds me of the sloppy joe pockets we make. We prepare our homemade sloppy joe meat, spoon it on rolled out dough, add shredded cheese and fold over, pinch edges..it comes out like an empanada
you can drizzle hot honey over roasted vegetables! it can also can be used in homemade salad dressings, drizzled over pizza or baked brie, put on a charcuterie board, and even drizzled over some apples for a great snack!
Not me pointing at the still wrapped kiss in the pile of wrappers and hollerin' at Mandy "IT'S RIGHT THERE!!!" Bless your heart. I love baking with Mandy so much. It's my favorite!
You and Steven are just the best. He's such a great hubby - working with you so much for the show, and a great taste tester! AND he is obviously still totally smitten with you. Great show today. Thanks.
I hope you two count your blessings you two remind me of my husband he passed away many years ago but I remember the laughter and love we shared in the kitchen❤❤God bless you two!
Hey Mandy. Loved today's video. Suggestion for the sloppy Joe flat you can also use Texas toast garlic bread and put sloppy Joe mix on top with cheese. It's really good too!!!
Hey Mandy! Thanks for more great ideas for apps. Keep them coming! Funny story- when my son was young he begged me to buy him a colored ketchup they put out when the new Hulk movie came out. Yeah it was colored green 🤦♀️. Next time I went to make sloppy joes from scratch the only ketchup I had was the green kind. It was edible but boy oh boy did it look unappetizing 😂😂😂.
Can’t wait to try these recipes. I’m starving from just watching you cook these. My husband and I have been married for 55 years. I call him my bestie. His response is “what do you want now”? Time has flown by. Enjoy every minute you have together. Such a cute couple. I really enjoy your videos.
Omg 😂Mandy I absolutely love you and Steven. You can absolutely see how much the 2 of yall are still so in love 💜with each other. Plus yall are so funny, and I love all of your recipes. Much love 💜 from me and all of NC. P.S. I seen the kiss you were missing hiding amongst the foil wrappers. I think it was planning a great escape lol.
1. My grandmother used to make the pigs in a blanket at Christmas. But she only cut each triangle in half and no pimento cheese. 2. We use a ice pick to poke a hole in cans. 3. Your kiss was hiding in the open wrappers 😊
I have been a bit under the weather for 3 days. I have been binge watching Mandy in the Making. I been watching for a long time and I love the food and the antics. My favorite story was about aliens in the house when you were newly weds. I'd love to hear you tell it again. You and the Common Tater bring me joy. Keep up the good work.
Sauté bacon, until done and add Brussel sprouts. Season with salt pepper and garlic and then when they’re almost done drizzle hot honey! It is so good!!
We have Palmetto Cheese in Kentucky. It’s all my family will eat. I reckon I know what appetizer I’ll take for Christmas pj app night now. Looking forward to seeing something different this year. Thank you! My 9 month old Fern (Tortie) will not eat cheese and every time she refuses it I tell her that Gracie would be ashamed of her. 😆 Also friends, if you’re making any Christmas morning French Toast style casseroles you can get the fresh Italian style bread loaves from the bakery. Usually $1.47 for me at the Walmart. Dense. Cut it into cubes easier. Sturdier. Holds up overnight. Just throwing that out there.
If you don’t want to spray your cup with oil because sometimes there’s overspray, you can break your egg into the cup to measure your peanut butter and it slides out. My grandma’s tip! ❤❤❤❤❤❤
Hi Mandy- I usually use a an ice pick right in the middle of can. Luv all your videos & you & your husband has been keeping my ribs a busting from laughing & I always look forward when I get a notice letting me know that your gonna be cooking. Thank you all for just being awesome. 😂😅
There was just the 2 of us this Thanksgiving as the kids were with their significant other's family. I cooked a 12 pound turkey and we ate it all. Turkey dinner, turkey sandwiches, turkey Tetrazzini. Then I removed all the meat and froze about 4 cups, putting the bones and remaining meat into a soup. Looking for something quick I found a recipe for Turkey Carbonara using turkey gravy instead of eggs.. Oh my word,, that was so good my husband asked me to make it more often. It is definitely something I will do with our Christmas turkey leftovers and whenever I find turkey Tenderloins at the store!
I love re-creating and cooking your recipes. They always turn out great. I make my pimiento cheese home-made and use better with cheddar sausages in the entire crescents because I make them as a meal for my teen and tween aged girls-they will eat an entire 12 count package of the sausages. You just reminded me I have to order more Duke's. I am a 3rd generation Southerner stuck in the Pacific Northwest so I have to order my Duke's and have it shipped here. You and your husband are so cute together. Also, when I make my home-made pimiento, I make one for my twins that is mild and then for my oldest daughter that has hot sauce, cream cheese, jalepenos, minced garlic and dehydrated onions. I literally use 1 lb each extra sharp white cheddar, yellow sharp and yellow mild for each batch and it lasts maybe 4-5 days.
I just found your channel a few days ago. I've been under the weather & have watched more than a dozen of your posts. Love so many of your recipe ideas; I also love your cheese grater. Will you please post a link?
We always have an ice pick in the kitchen and yes you poke a hole in the bottom of the can one hole with an ice pick and the cranberry sauce slides right out of a can ❤
My cat, Tilly doesn’t like it when I watch your videos without headphones on. She runs around the house looking for Gracie and meowing like a mad cat.😂
Thanks Steven… I learned a new word…Hot Honey. Your guilty smile smirk and your gazing eyes as you look at the beautiful Mandy says it all. Now if I say “hot honey” I’ll also giggle lollol lol. You both live like young loves and it’s so adorable. Keep the love alive !
You all make me giggle. And your baking skills look like you've been doing it all along. I've been baking since I was very young so when I hear people say they can't bake, I never really get it. But you did great!
I make my own cranberry spread for turkey sandwiches, but instead of just cranberries I add a little orange juice and orange zest to it while its cooking. The orange really brings it up a notch. Maybe you can incorporate a little orange in that canned cranberry sauce.
These are helpful! We are doing a lasagna as our main part with Lil snacky items and Christmas candy/pies/cookies etc etc for Christmas eve then taco bar for Christmas day! We wanted more relaxing so that we can play more games or just simply visit! And for the most part it should be easy clean up! Hope your Holiday is fabulous and our Gracie gets all the cheese she can handle 😂❤❤
Speaking of games, have u ever looked for that Old Timey game called "Pit"? It's a screamer, it's like having a Wallstreet Trading Floor in ur kitchen. Just trust me, try to get one before Xmas & offer the guests some Depends bc u will laugh so hard u might pee a little. 🤭🤣 Have fun!
@@MandyintheMaking I found it, Amazon sells it for @$12, & there's another that's guaranteed fun I might look into called "Moose Master" + hope y'all get both & laugh til ur sides hurt!
I loved this video! I told my family that one of these nights it’s going to be all appetizers for dinner. I am definitely using these. Between you, Jessica O’ Donahue, and Feeding the Byrds UA-cam channels, I am set for the holidays! Blessings and Shalom!
The Sparkling sugar is the large crystal decorating sugar that you can by anywhere where the cake/cookie decorating supplies are. Grocery stores usually have primary colors. Michaels and Hobby Lobby would have yhe clear or white
Mandy just get a case knife, slide it between the cranberry sauce and can push gently with the flat side of knife into sauce to release the pressure it will slide right out
Wipe your measuring cup out with paper towel before you wash it. Lot's easier. You can slip your pan of blossom bars into the fridge to chill the chocolate kiss. Everything looks delicious.
I made the pigs in a blanket and the turkey cranberry sliders for our Bible study Christmas party last night. One of the ladies in the group said, "Is this from Mandy in the Making?" Two of us are subscribers and we've talked about other stuff we've made that has been on your channel which made her go watch you on UA-cam...now she keeps you on and has been watching ALL of your videos. We're aiming to get the whole study watching you! ♥ P.S. As usual, it was delicious!
I just want to say what a good job you do with your instruction. So many cooking shows are full of yakety yakety yakety yak. A 15 minute video that could have been accomplished in 5. You move through just right and I really enjoy listening to you. In fact, I sometimes play older episodes that I haven't seen and listen/watch while I do crafting.
Here in the UK Pigs in Blankets are simply small sausages wrapped in bacon and baked in the oven. We usually eat them with Roast Turkey on Christmas Day.
I absolutely love your videos, your happy, jolly personality and the relationship between you and your husband. Thank you for your hard work on your channel! ❤
Here's a little tip for the not preheated oven problem...Always read a recipe all the way through before making it. This avoids any unexpected details, such as softened butter, preheated oven, etc.
9:09 that's one of my favorite chesses and yes, you said it correctly. If you can find it the dill havarti is absolutely delicious!ove the cranberry sliders idea! The only cat in the worls that i know of who knows when cheese is out even when she isn't in tge room! Lol
The cranberry is wonderful I did see somebody else make the cranberry sauce with some mayonnaise and some Dijon mustard. That is wonderful and I bet would be wonderful on the sliders thank you again Mandy for all you do and you share with us.
I love pigs-in-a-blanket but instead of using Crescent dinner rolls I use Puff Pastry cut in strips and then cut each strip in either two or three sections. What a great idea for Sloppy Joes. The Peanut Butter Bars look scrumptious
I tried to pick a favorite-- I cant so guess they all get cooked. But that will be good on game day. I dont have to think about it anymore. You came up with great food!!!! I love getting Stevens reply. His answers help me decide if Im going to fix recipes for my husband. Thanks again, God bless your family from grandma Katie in Oregon
You both are so adorable. I love the sliders for leftover Turkey whether from a roasted Turjey or deli Sammie’s. I never grew up livimg cranberry sauce but now that I’m older it’s like jam/jelly…. Yum

NO WAY!!!!! Stop it. I'm going back to look! That means I threw it away!!!
Oh my gosh. I just saw it. GREAT catch!!
Yeah I saw that right away. LOL
I saw that as well but I didn't want to call her out LOL
Poor kissy, committed trashacide.😢
Also....Steven, keep calling her your "hot honey" bc the romance between you two is so amazingly beautiful....You both are so blessed to have each other, HaPpY Holidays to your family!!
Amen!
SUPER Mandy. I like when you said that. Mandy, you are a super hero that I admire!
In U.K. pigs in blankets are cocktail sausage wrapped in bacon. Devils on horseback are prunes or dates wrapped in bacon.
"Git-together!" Makes my old Texas church-goin heart happy. I guess "party" sounded too sinful, so we had "git-togethers" in my youth. Merry Christmas to you and your sweet family. 🎄
LOL, too cute!
Anyone who has missed Mandy & Steven have missed out on fun, great, tasty, easy, goodies!
HAHA Friends!! Gotta love Phoebe and her grandmothers cookie recipe!
"you Americans always butcher the French language"
LOL!!!

I hope you two count your blessings you two remind me of my husband he passed away many years ago but I remember the laughter and love we shared in the kitchen❤❤God bless you two!
That honey mustard dressing would be so good with fried chicken fingers. That looks amazing.
Great job as always Mandy. You and Steven are a match made in Heaven ❤️

Phoebe Buffay's grand mothers recipe (Friends) Got it immediately. LOL
You're my kinda people, Michele! :)
Hubby has a great sense of humor. Lucky lady!
We LOVE the 21 seasoning salute....on chicken, eggs, etc.
Yep, I like it so much more than the Everything Bagel seasoning!
Discovered about 30 yrs ago that I have a sesame seed allergy, so no everything bagel for me! Really enjoying these appetizer videos.
I know Steven and his cream cheese issues but that slider with a little cream cheese mixed with the cranberries takes that sandwich off the charts
Rewatching these old holiday videos and so sweet to see and hear your Gracie Lou girl❤😽❤
Palmetto is as close to homemade as you can get. It’s wonderful and the jalapeño peminto cheese is good too
Sauté bacon, until done and add Brussel sprouts. Season with salt pepper and garlic and then when they’re almost done drizzle hot honey! It is so good!!

Gah, I miss Ingles. The bbq bread grilled is the best. You can't just find it anywhere in the country.

I would’ve made the pigs in a blanket plain and warmed up the pimento cheese dip, to dip into.
Yummy on the Pigs

Hot honey would be great in a cup of hot tea!
These recipes look delicious Mandy. 😊. The show you were referring to is Friends. Phoebe is a hoot 😂
Oooh that all looks amazing. I bet those peanut butter kiss bars would be good with miniature peanut butter cups too. 😮
I want to thank you. You and Steven always put a smile on my face. I so enjoy your videos! I live in Pittsburgh PA and I only buy Duke's Mayo
That cheese shredder is awesome. You did a great job on your blossoms 👍🏻🎄♥️🎄♥️🎄♥️🎄

This was so on time. I'm serving Christmas brunch and needed some things to serve.
Use an ice pick brush, or the tip of a knife to Poke hole in the can of cranberry sauce
Yes, the palmetto cheese is awesome...especially the jalapeño version. Available here in North Cackalacky too! Ain't cheap tho!
Sending hugs and love to you and your family. God bless you all and Gracie Lou.
Slather it on, baby!! If you lather it on, you'd be washing it. 😅 Love you, sweetie!!
LOL!!!!!
Totally awesome video.
I always call my cats when Gracie Lou is in tv.. they come running.. thank you for your recipes.. ❤❤❤
We have Palmetto cheese here in Alabama and it's really good!
Another good video. Thank you.
I'm going to try peanut butter chips instead of choc chips. Yum Yum. Thanks for sharing. Love your videos. Merry Christmas.🎄
I love watching you two!! Ya make me giggle and my dust bunnies come flying out to see what is happening!!
We have the Palmetto brand pimento cheese at Sam’s club in KY.
Palmetto cheese also in GA!
Walmart, and Publix both carry Palmetto Pimiento Cheese, here in Southeast Alabama. Both the regular, and the spicy. It’s the best, because there’s no sugar added, in my opinion. Love the appetizer menus, God bless your Small Group!
It's called Sanding sugar Mandy, it's usually sold in the baking aisle with decorating items !! You could use peanut butter M&Ms !?
I love the Friends reference and the turkey sliders made me think of Ross’s moistmaker too!! I’d love to see you do an episode or series of recipes from popular tv shows! I’d love to see your recreations!❤
So I just changed my menu - I must make these!
Mandy if you can't find the sheets of crescent dough pinch the triangles together at the seams and then cut into strips.
we have Palmetto cheese spread in WV
The show was friends. Love all the appetizers 😁❤
Yep!!!
I would try that hot honey you made on chicken breast , bake it with it on or maybe marinade it then bake it . I think that would be so good ❤
