Just found your channel recently. I am disabled and cooking has become very difficult for me. I still want to be able to make special treats for my 7 grandbabies. Also makes easy meals. Sheet pan, crock pot are my go to meals now. Thank you for helping me to remain as active as I can for my family. You inspire me not to give up and keep going. God bless you and from the bottom of my heart I truly thank you 😊❤
I "accidentally "stumbled on to your site, and I absolutely love it!! Your recipes are an inspiration and not terribly complicated. Plus, your relationship with the common tutor is truly inspiring. I pray that someday I find someone who makes me laugh, inspires me me in the kitchen and is a true " life partner". My heartfelt wishes for a long, healthy, and loving life!❤
I tell my hubby, “why can’t you be more like Steven, and he always answers, BUT I Am Steven( his name, lol)” along with, I don’t know what you want me to do, 🤦🏻♀️
You know, your family is so lucky to get such a huge, wonderful, amazing variety of dinners and lunches and breakfasts from a woman who didn’t know how to cook! You could’ve taken the low road and served up baked chicken breasts and boiled broccoli every night. Or opened a can of SpaghettiOs. But no, you have gone above and beyond and really made stuff extra nice for your two men and yourself. Good for you, Mandy!
Mandy on the Frito Taco Pie I don't use the crescent rolls anymore I use the crescent sheet you will find they don't seem to tear as easily. Apple Butter Cruffins It doesn't matter how they look I bet the taste just as good as the lady in the picture made. :) He seemed like he was protesting about sharing with you. You two always make my day and add a little bit of sunshine to it. My husband loves to watch your videos yours is the only recipe videos I can get him to watch. May God bless you and your beautiful family. :)
It took me years to figure out that if I remove my cold cream cheese out of its package into my desired dish, and then let it come up to room temp, I don't have to fight with it. I love tube biscuit ideas! Thanks.
Inspiration is a beautiful thing, and I think it’s more beautiful when it comes from someone that’s dear to your heart. You inspire me to cook more for my hubby and our family.
Just made the blueberry cinnamon roll bake....OMG! SO GOOD!!. We used a 16oz frozen blueberries and it worked out perfectly....my only suggestion would be, if you do use the frozen blueberries, is to mix the cream cheese/sugar mixture with the cinnamon rolls and THEN add the blueberries because if you mix the blueberries with the cream cheese mixture like I did, the cream cheese freezes up and make it really hard to mix in the cinnamon rolls. But I made it work and I was told to put it on the "make again list"! :) I love watching your videos. I make many of your recipes so keep up the great work! I love the chemistry between you two and if I'm having a bad day, I put a couple of videos of yours on, and it turns the day around. Thank you for sharing your ideas and your day with us!
I’ve never commented on any of your videos, I just want to say I love your imperfection. It gives me hope that we must come out looking crazy. It’s still gonna taste good.😂🤣
Mandy, I am new to your channel and was handed over to you by Cal and Marie Towe, who featured the recipe for your grandma's brown rice plus the garlic lemon chicken on their channel. I wrote both those recipes down to try later. Anyway, I love rice recipes, too, and you mentioned inviting your viewers for their own personal favorite rice recipes, and here's one of mine called Grecian Rice: Melt 3 T. butter or margarine in a 2-1/2 qt. saucepan; 1/2 c. finely chopped onion; 1/2 c. finely chopped green pepper; 2 cloves minced garlic; 1 c. long-grain white rice; 2 c. beef bouillon; 1 tsp. ground cinnamon; 1/2 tsp. salt; 2/3 c. natural almonds (no roasted, no flavored); 1/2 c. dark seedless raisins. Steps: saute onion, green pepper, and garlic in melted butter for several minutes. Add rice and cook for 4-6 minutes. Stir in bouillon, cinnamon, and salt. Cover and simmer for 10 minutes. Add the almonds and raisins and cook an additional 5 minutes with lid on. Delicious and different as you will see once you make it.
Hi Mandy! Greetings from Massachusetts! I've been a subscriber for almost 2 years. You've said in your videos many times that you used to not know how to cook but over the years you have learned how to make delicious meals. I've tried many! You also say often that you're not a baker. If you can learn to cook, there's no doubt in my mind and heart that you can learn how to bake! I have confidence in you ❤
I'm not a fan of canned dough (they just don't taste good), but I enjoy watching you guys! The recipes sound good and there's no reason you couldn't make your own dough in the bread machine for these recipes. I've never had a canned biscuit that tasted like a good homemade biscuit.
Mandy, these are done by professionals who will make them over and over and over again until they are perfect to look at. You might think yours don't look as nice, but they are better because they are made from the heart. Close your eyes and enjoy. I plan on making all of them.
Oh Lawdy Girl you speaking my love language blueberries and cream cheese! Mmmmmm mmmmmm mmmmmm I'm in heaven and will definitely try that one! Last week at the store I did get the ingredients for your beef and broccoli recipe and will try that this weekend.
Mandy i just made your Tuscan garlic chicken….all I can say is OMG, so good! I started late, it was finished at 9:30, my thoughts i would eat next day, seeing I ate dinner. Well I am embarrassed to say I ate 3 chicken thighs…. I sent a picture to my kids, they said they can’t wait to come home for me to make it for them! Thank you so much
It’s so good to hear that there are other people who don’t wait to enjoy the good things in life by the clock! Good for you and you made me take another look at the recipe. Thanks!
Y'all are so cute together, and Mandy you have the best laugh 😊 These recipes sound and look absolutely delicious. Thank you for sharing your recipes your home. I look forward to your videos every week.
Thank you so much Mandy and Steve! As an older lady who has become a bit too cushy, I love these recipes and will use them on holidays and other special occasions, and for the occasional guests. ❤
Oh, I love a good, well-spiced apple butter. Pumpkin butter is good, too. Those all look just so yummy. My fav. dough to buy is any that come in five count - eight or ten is far too many for just me to get through.
I am new to your channel, and I absolutely adore the both of you!!! I'm so sorry about Gracie Lou, she sure had her own personality, we just lost one of our fur babies last week and it is devastating to say the least. I love your style of cooking. What a beautiful love you share, this really drawls me in. I am from Hbg, Pa. and I have a friend that has come to North Carolina to help with the devastation due to the hurricane. In fact, we watched his fur baby while he was gone for the week. All the people that have been affected by this terrible tragedy are certainly in the hearts and prayers. Thank you for all you share and teach us. Time will heal your heart!!! Have a great weekend and Happy Halloween!!
🍴 These recipes are a total game-changer! The versatility of canned dough is mind-blowing. The blueberry recipe has my taste buds tingling! 😋 Also, Steven's funny moments make the videos even more enjoyable. Keep the deliciousness coming! 🥐🍕🥖
Try flooring a tea towel, no terrycloth. Roll your dough on it, spread apple butter and, using the towel, roll up your dough. Often times, it allows for a tighter roll. It might help😊
I’m a Pampered Chef junkie! I have so many of their products, and I use them every day! You and Steven are such good entertainment! I love watching you together! And your cheese cat! 😅she’s precious!
Hi Mandy. I want to make ALL of these recipes! I think I’ll make the blueberry one first. One of my very good friends broke her foot and I have been making meals for her and her husband. She loves blueberries. I think she would love that one. 👍🏽 You and Steven are getting more hilarious with each video. I lost it when he said “Tinky Winky” and so did you!🤣 I think your hiatus gave you some new material!😂 Thanks for sharing as always. I love you guys!🤗💕
Great recipes Mandy!!! I had to laugh whenever something didn’t “look” as planned or the shape wasn’t right…my grandma always told me “you can’t taste the shape”😉😉 Give Gracie Lou a hug for me….and a big hello to the Common Tater. Your videos just warm my heart😊❤️
Wow, gotta remember that... You can't taste the shape! In laws, get ready, I'll put you in youre place!!! For instance, "My ugly shape tastes better than your pretty shape"... It always has but somehow I let Them shame Me! for my shape but their beautiful...tasted like cardboard. No more? .
Mandy I watch a lot of cooking channels and by far I make the most of the things you make. THANK YOU for the love and laughter (common) Tater and Tinks, we just love your family and thank you for the recipes. I work 2 fulltime jobs and have a disabled husband these quick delicious recipes are so helpful and my boys will eat them! God bless you. I appreciate you.
Already have the cresent dough sheet on the shopping list! A friend just gave me a jar of homemade apple butter. if you can't get them rolled out thin enough I bet you could just cut them up like a thicker cinnamon roll and put them in the pan like that without trying to spin them the way you did.
I have made the pizza rolls before. But I HAVE to try the apple butter recipe. In a side note, I started walking (exercising!)again, to be prepared for a December trip to Disney. I turn on your videos while walking and forget I am out of breath on the hills! You guys crack me up!!
I have to admit, I didn't make a lot of recipes using Pillsbury dough until I found your channel. We have made a few I'm talking about my boyfriend Chris. We even like you and Steven had a mishap and we still talk about it. We made the mash potato bites with the cream cheese filling but we used instant potatoes and Chris put to much salt in them. They were good but salty. Thank you for your channel. ❤
Thank you so much for taking time to share your recipes with us. My mom always would say it’s the taste that counts not the look. Your stomach doesn’t have eyes. I am a blueberry lover myself.
I tend to buy more canned doughs in the fall/winter and prefer pizza/crescent roll/biscuit doughs, in that order. All of these look so tasty especially the Frito Taco Pie!
I get two of the Pillsbury French bread loaves. Stretch them out til they are twice as long; form each into a half circle and connect them to make a full bread wreath (circle) , on a stone or cookie sheet. Cut diagonal slits all along the top...spritz with oil...spread minced garlic or garlic paste along the top. Then sprinkle with basil and oregano. Bake. Slice in half crosswise when cool. Layer deli meats, sliced cheese, , sliced tomato , onion and lettuce. Top with Tuscan Italian dressing. Old pampered chef recipe that is so great for a party !
Mandy, I canned Caramel Apple Butter this summer and I wanted to try the Cruffins from today’s video. I went to the recipe you linked and I discovered why yours didn’t look like you wanted them to. After cutting the roll in half, she cut the two halves lengthwise and it exposed all the layers. THEN you roll it up and they look like cinnamon rolls! Hope this helps. 😊 Thanks SO much for your videos- they are so educational AND enjoyable (entertaining ☺️). God’s rich blessings to your family!
I love crescent rolls with a bit of garlic butter on them and grands as well in the air fryer! The "correctamundo" comment made me giggle, haven't heard it in awhile, straight outta Happy Days from the Fonz; a great show from my childhood 🥰
I buy the biscuits and crescent sheets the most. The sheets I cut into 8 long skinny rectangles and wrap around hot dogs, top with Everything Bagel seasoning or garlic pwd & Italian seasoning and bake for a quick lunch to pair with a salad and chips. Crescent dogs are an instant win at my house. Definitely trying these soon, Blueberry Lemon is up first!
Just letting you know, I started doing my biscuits and crescent rolls in the air fryer while camping and now do it all the time. So much easier and faster. Thank you so much for all the great recipes!
I’m 72, and Mandy, you so remind me of my daughter Tara, who lives in Florence, SC! I’m in Orlando, FL, and I miss her so much! She has 2 boys, 13 and 7. Just like you, she Loves cooking for her family!❤😊😊😊
So excited to turn on UA-cam and see a new video from my Favorite food channel ❤So happy to have our paths to cross. Hoping to be moved by next week. I can’t wait to get cooking. Thanks for sharing your joy ❤
Since I have started watching you years ago I have made many recipes. I love to cook and did get tired of the same things. You give me so many ideas every week!!
Mandy you are just precious! I enjoy your videos so much. I have been cooking for fifty some years and I still learn something new from you all the time. Can I adopt you and your sweet husband? Much love from Ohio.
Mandy, they all look yummy ! You and your husband are a hoot, too funny. I really like it when you guys are joking around, it gives me a lift and a laugh, thanks very much. Gracie Lou loving her cheese. I had a cat like that too, but it was sliced cheese he liked. I couldn't have cheese without him being in my face wanting some too, so I really appreciate you showing Gracie to us all and her getting her cheese. Thanks for all of the recipes. Have a great day.
My mom used to take biscuit dough, pat them down a little, poke a hole in them, and fry them up in her electric skillet. Toss in cinnamon sugar, and you have doughnuts! Great hot, little lead pellets when cold. Great kid party food.
Wow! Great recipe. My husband's doctor told him to change his diet so I used half the ground beef and added rinsed pinto beans and drained Rotel in the meat mixture! Super yummy. Thanks so much for your accessible yet elevated recipes.
We buy lots of the biscuit doughs and yes, I do them in the air fryer. I do most things in the air fryer when I can. I loved this video and I am going to try the blueberry one for sure. You are the best Mandy and you and your hubby make me laugh and that is a good thing! Sure am happy that Gracie Lou is feeling much better.❤
I just wanted to thank you for providing recipes that make really flavorful meals that my husband and I we frequent. We look forward to new recipes from you because we know they will be delicious. We have been following you for over a year now and enjoy all the new recipes to try! As a college student with little time, it is nice I xan trust and depend on you for great meal ideas. So thank you
Miss Mandy, I’ve always told my daughter and granddaughters about clothes it may not look good on the hanger BUT try it on and see what it looks like. Well, they have always done that and figured out what I meant. My point being… your Cruffins may NOT have looked like the picture but I bet they were amazing. God Bless you and your family 🥰🙏
I found this channel as I was looking for different ways to use canned biscuits! I'm so glad I ran across you guys! Not only do the recipes look really good - your family is a joy to watch! I will be tuned in for future family fun and more 'good eats'!
I love your videos. We watch you almost constantly. You and your husband are awesome. Thank you for the joy you spread to others. May God Bless you and your family. We love you all.
Wow these look awesome..Can't wait to try them. Love watching you guys. My husband and I watch you all the time. He will like the blueberry one. I will have to make that for his birthday on Saturday the 30th. Thanks for making cooking fun. Love you guys..BTW way mine never looks like the pictures either...😅
I like the flakey grands: I peel each biscuit into 3 or 4 layers. Then I put whatever filling (sweet or savory) in the middle of a layer. Then place another layer on top after I brush some water around the edges. Then take a fork and press the edges together. Then bake. Deeelish!!! (Brush some butter on the sweet ones. Brush some marinara on top of the savory ones. After they're baked.) 😂
Your Hubby is so funny, how he was droolin' over the first recipe, and he couldn't wait to dig in...I bet it smelled like heaven 😋 Love all your recipes...you get me in the kitchen and I cannot wait to try these...Bless you and your family 🙏
You two tinks are adorable 🥰 Love Your personalities Love when Cole shows up Love your biscuit recipes especially the blueberry one Thank you for sharing Tink 😂
As a WV native, the pull-apart pizza rolls remind me of pepperoni rolls- a WV staple! They originated in the early 1900s when Italian immigrant coal miners took them to work for lunch. A pepperoni roll is basically the biscuit dough, with each biscuit flattened out, put pepperoni in the middle and then close the dough around the pepperoni in a roll…then cook per directions. Popular toppings to add inside before rolling are cheese and 🌶️ peppers, but you could add whatever you want. There are many bakeries near me that make them from scratch and they are sold in grocery stores and convenience stores in WV. So good! I have made my version at home with the same biscuit dough you used. Love watching you guys! ❤😂
I tried to avoid this video because I’m a baker and don’t appreciate canned refrigerated dough, but these look (surprisingly) delicious (to a baker). These would be fun to make with my grandchildren too, they love helping me bake. On a side note, I love your nail polish color!
Love your Channel! I like to use the crescent dough sheets especially for pigs in the blanket. Unroll sheet and slice into whatever width strips you need depending on your hotdogs and roll. I use bun length hot dogs and slice in half making two long strips. Each strip will wrap four hot dogs. You can make a ton of appetizers using little smokies. So much easier than the triangles! God Bless!
This was My baby sister who we lost 6 years ago is her favored thing to make was the taco pie. We had a family dinner after her memorial service and this is what I made. This was her favorite thing to make. Her family loved it and always asked for it when we got together. Only difference was that she made it into a circle with the points uncovered. She would pull the point up and over the filling, attaching the point to the wide end. I miss her so much.
The taco dish would be good with Catalina dressing on top of the lettuce. I'd bought the crescent roll sheet instead of crescent roll. Easier to roll and fit in pie pan.

Love anything that uses biscuits! The outtakes that became intakes. 🤣 Keep the comedy rolling. I enjoyed Cole poking in for one sandwich.
It took me years to figure out that if I remove my cold cream cheese out of its package into my desired dish, and then let it come up to room temp, I don't have to fight with it. I love tube biscuit ideas! Thanks.

I make my applebutter and can it. I love it and how good it makes my house smell when I'm cooking it down that day.
I’m crying like a baby! Looking at an older video seeing Gracie Lou again hurts my heart! I’m going to try the taco pie. ❤ Grandma Brenda

Going to try the Pull- Apart Pepperoni first since I canned a ton of sauce from our garden tomatoes this summer! Yay!
Blueberry and lemon, delicious combination! Thanks Mandy, Steve and Gracie Lou.

Oh my LANTA!! Mandy, I am so glad I saw this video. These are GREAT ideas and I am ready to try them ALL!!
All of these recipes look amazing. Thank you so much for sharing these with us. Wishing you, Steven and Cole, a beautiful and blessed day 🌿🌹🌿💞🌿🌹🌿
I love crescent rolls with a bit of garlic butter on them and grands as well in the air fryer!
I love apple butter! As long as they taste good, that’s what matters. I thought they looked delicious.
Also, try the pepperoni rolls in a bundt pan or loaf pan, and use mozzarella pearls. So good!
The pizza pull apart muffins would be interesting with the buttermilk (southern style?) grands.
All of the recipes look delicious.
So thank you
23:37 Hard decision here, either the apple butter one or pepperoni pull aparts. All the recipes look yummy in the tummy!
You can't go wrong with any of them!
Haven't seen a recipe yet that didn't look delish and like comfort food!
I thought Stephen was putting a little behind his ear, to save it😂🤣😅🤪
I LOVE apple butter too. Will need to make the cruffins for sure!
I have done crescent rolls in the air fryer. With chocolate wrapped in it. Delicious!!
I can’t wait to try all of these.
I found this channel as I was looking for different ways to use canned biscuits! I'm so glad I ran across you guys! Not only do the recipes look really good - your family is a joy to watch! I will be tuned in for future family fun and more 'good eats'!

Thank you so much!
Ya'll are so cute together! I love your recipes & the quickness of them all! Your son looks like you both! Beautiful blessed family!! 🤗🇺🇸
After they're baked.)
😂
Your Hubby is so funny, how he was droolin' over the first recipe, and he couldn't wait to dig in...I bet it smelled like heaven 😋
Love all your recipes...you get me in the kitchen and I cannot wait to try these...Bless you and your family 🙏
I'm going to try the Pull apart Pepperoni pizza rolls first, my family loves pepperoni pizza! All of these recipes sound delicious!
U have inspired me to try new combinations of foods I would never have thought would go together. I buy grands biscuits
You two tinks are adorable 🥰 Love Your personalities Love when Cole shows up Love your biscuit recipes especially the blueberry one Thank you for sharing Tink 😂
They all looked SO YUMMY!!!!
You guys are just adorable! Love watching your videos. I will def try these! Thx for the video!
I love how y’all so obviously love each other. Blueberry and lemon. Yummy
I tried to avoid this video because I’m a baker and don’t appreciate canned refrigerated dough, but these look (surprisingly) delicious (to a baker). These would be fun to make with my grandchildren too, they love helping me bake. On a side note, I love your nail polish color!
I'm so glad you watched and commented! Good to know that they look good even to a baker!! Thank you!
God Bless!
You don't give yourself enough credit. Everything you make looks so delicious and that's what's important
No she doesn't. Love your channel!
I'm gonna try all of these. Fam is gonna love em! Thanks for the great vid!
I always get flaky biscuits and crescent rolls ❤
The taco dish would be good with Catalina dressing on top of the lettuce. I'd bought the crescent roll sheet instead of crescent roll. Easier to roll and fit in pie pan.
Honey those apple butter rolls look delicious 😋😋
Oh I’m definitely doing the blueberry. Blueberry is my top favorite fruit dessert 👍🏻👍🏻
