Those klipsch speakers look amazing. Really like that small riser under the center channel. But is it just me or do the seats look like they are cramped in the corner? Feels like the seats can be brought forward and to the middle more.
Hey Scott! Thanks for the kind words! I honestly think the pictures kind of make it look more cramped then it is but I do agree. I could pull the front row out a little more. I will say though walking into the room, it makes it feel bigger with the seats further back lol.
Thank you so much!! We actually added insulation in them and put a sheet of drywall over them. That way if we ever sell the house I can remove the drywall and the windows are still there.
The look and style of this room is fantastic and the front view with the stage looks awesome. Since the seats are offset to the side (my room is the same but only by about 4') you will notice a significant improvement in your rear surround if you have direct firing speakers on the back wall directly behind the seating. With the current bi-pole speakers, your 3700H can adjust the timing during setup but with the angle of the driver and such a large distance that sound will hit the seating more from the side, similar to the position of the side surrounds. This will be a completely different spot than your other rear speaker sound will come from. Your side surrounds are a little more difficult to work with with one side wall being much further away than the other. Direct firing speakers allow for speaker delay that will easily fix that. With bi-poles, it makes it much more difficult. I am a huge fan of bi-poles for side surrounds in a room as large as yours and I too run bi-poles as they fill the space much better and give you great sound envelopment. My concern is the distance of the one side speaker and where the rear facing drivers point to in regards to searing position. You always want your speakers pointed directly at the main listening position (MLP), even your front stage should have your left speaker towed in more than the right so they both point to the MLP and that allows room correction to adjust timing so you have perfect surround sound. So with your side surrounds, if those drivers both point to the MLP, you are good, you could even but an angles base plate behind to better aim those drivers or even slide it forward to get the correct aim. Remember, speakers should be aligned and mounted based on the MLP, not for room symmetry, you ears and brain don't care where the walls are, they care where the sound is coming from. The adjustment of one of the surrounds won't hurt the sound as the other side of the bi-pole is simply filling in empty space and is indirect sound. The other option is direct firing speakers on swivel mounts aimed at the MLP. The best spot would be to have them mounted directly to the side of the MLP but since the wires are already run to that spot, they are fine there and will still provide amazing directional sound that follows what is happening on screen. If you ever feel like adding, you should consider another sub in the rear corner. Normally I would suggest 2 more but it didn't look like you had room where your seating was. Get a MiniDSP to tune the subs and you will see a significant improvement in seat to seat consistency and you will feel more in the middle of the action. Even if you leave it as is, you will still have great sound and movie enjoyment. All that matters is that you are happy with the performance and if that is the case, you will have endless hours of movie enjoyment
Thank you so much! Yeah you’re absolutely right. I might have to start tweaking a couple of speaker placements and see if it makes a difference. Luckily I left myself plenty of speaker wire in the walls so I can plenty of room to move them. Thanks for all the advice! I’ll let you know if I move some and what I hear!
Might want to change the title. The 8K title made me think it would be a JVC NX9/RS3000 with the 8K E-shift feature. As you know the RS1000 doesn't have the 8K e-shift feature. It is native 4K. The 8K seems misleading and might lead someone to think the RS1000 has that capability.
Awesome intro Sarkis! Erik, your home theater looks amazing, I like the speaker setup and especially the little stage with the custom stand for your center speaker. Greetings from Germany!
Knocked it out the park again with the intro👌, nice room although some of the speaker placements are not ideal you have to work with what you got and as long as it sounds good that is all that matters, i would have probably centralised the seats more but i suspect they are where they are for a reason, but still a great room.👍
The only thing that I would recommend is that you could place the right and left speakers closer to the inside. I have them closer by 1 1/2. Try it and see the difference. I am sure that you will have a big difference. Good luck.
@@hstudio30 Am I missing something or are we understanding differently? I am thinking @Mars Devost meant was moving the towers closer to the screen to test. More distance from the walls and closer to that recommended 44-60 degree listening angle may be beneficial and free to try.
I would recommend replacing the rear surrounds with book shelf RP-500M for more direct sound. I would also go with SVS PC4000 subwoofers and maybe move the Klipsch to the rear of the room to balance out the bass back there. Great Room. PM
Thank you for sharing your room. It really looks amazing. Love how the screen and the panels just blend in to the room. I'm in the market for theater seats and I also been looking at these. How are they comfort wise? Can you help me out with something? Can you measure the arm of your chair on the side from front to back. I need a specific size and I just want to see how accurate the website is. I would greatly appreciate it.
Thank you so much! These seats are really comfortable. Only thing I would recommend is getting the pillow that comes with these since the headrest is a little soft. Other than that these seats are amazing. Absolutely! It looks like it’s 31.5 inches from front to back. If you need any other measurements just let me know!
@@edub2694 Wow that's a big difference from what the dimensions on the 4 seating a seatcraft website says. On the website is says footprint is 38 inches. Can you do one more measurement since they were so wrong. There full recline says 65 from head to toe what are you getting? Also can you place seat 3 inches from wall? I appreciate you helping me out with this man.
@@brnmaull nah no problem at all man. I have my back row about 3 inches from the wall. It works but if you have a little more room that would be better. Luckily the seats move forward when you recline. I think ideally 5-6 inches from the wall is the sweet spot. On a full recline it’s measuring 68 inches from the top of the head rest to the bottom of the chair.
As always, best intros in the Audio/Video genre!! Cant wait for the upcoming Reavon 200x review. I hope they send you a 100x to compare and review as well.
Has there been any issues with the silver carpet bouncing light back to the screen? I have a similar set up and I feel like my silver carpet may have been a mistake.
@@hstudio30 Well, it's a 20,000 system geared towards audio (B&W 7 AND 6 series, Parasound) but the Basx keeps up really well with the surround side of things
Very stylish room. Nice colours etc. 👍🏻 As Sarkis asked for comments, I’m guessing perhaps they use the large floor space in the middle for other uses? (Kids playing?) Otherwise, I couldn’t help but put the seating area in the middle of the room to make the most of those cool looking speakers (if it were my space). It looks like the room has huge potential if the seating position is right. Nicely edited video, Sarkis. 👏☺️
Great video. Thanks for bringing cool theater project builds. Just a tip: mount the camera on something other than the table you're using. There's a lot of shake in the video, and it's a little hard to watch. Other than that, great video! Thanks!
Thanks mate the camera is mounted on a tripod, the table itself is not a solid enough table which is shaking the plant as you can see. Definately should be sorted soon..with other things 👍🍻
Ahhh, everyone’s dream subwoofer (including me) normally I’d remind you of the price of a pair, but after seeing the JVC strapped to the ceiling, I’m sure it’s just a matter of time, isn’t that right Eric?? 🤣
Wow awesome theater! Hidden speakers and electronics makes it look nice and clean but I must say I like it more when the speakers are visible. I mean you have put a lot of money and effort in selecting the speakers you buy so why not show it off for people.
Believe it or not the sound is great. With all the panels insulated it made a huge difference in the room. Everything gets sucked up in there and I get a nice clean sound. If those panels weren’t insulated than I definitely would like my original room did
Loved the room tour. The minimal design and dark walls focuses the attention on the screen just like the cinema. A star ceiling would take it to the next level! BTW what was the movie clip with the creepy clown and nun masks?
Awesome room tour! I'd just suggest that the home owner move the side surrounds further back to maybe in between the the front and rear seats. Surrounds shouldn't be in front of both rows of seats. Also, using the Klipsch RP-500SA speakers as back surrounds placed directly behind the last row of seats would provide much better pinpoint & immersive sound. Otherwise, a great home theater. Thanks.
Yes, agreed... however, I think in this case the positioning might be compromised by the side door, they have to either be in their current location or at the other side of the door, where you suggested... but if they’re too close to the rears they’d just bleed into eachother - no bueno! 🤣 Well spotted though....
Great idea and thank you for your kind words! That was the original plan but unfortunately I have that door there. Thats one of main reasons I went with bipoles that way it can shoot out towards the chairs instead of directional. I originally had one right by the chairs and the other closer to the thermostat area but it didn’t look good since they weren’t even. Gotta work with what we have you know!
@@edub2694 You’re very right. We have to make the most of what we have. Well your theater looks great and I’m sure it sounds awesome too. I’m also a Klipsch fan and have all Klipsch speakers too in my theater room except for the sub. I’ve got a couple of SVS PB-1000 Pros. Anyway, enjoy the journey and have fun with your theater!
How did you use your Emotiva amplifier with 5 channels? Which surround speakers did you choose since it’s only 5 channels and you have 7 ear height speakers?
Hey Paul! I used the Emotiva BasX A5 to run the front stage and the rears. I have the Denon running the Atmos speakers and surrounds. It definitely helped with making the sound cleaner and woke up the Klipsch speakers. They don’t need much but it definitely helped!
@@edub2694 I see the upgrade path now. First the Emotiva XPA-7 and using the BasX5 for the Atmos and then the Marantz 7706 processor to replace the Denon receiver.
@@jjchmiel78 Lol you know it! That’s actually what I was thinking about doing and then throwing the Denon in preamp mode for the time being. At some point I’ve been eyeing that NAD T778 so maybe that’s in the future. Fingers crossed 🤞. I much rather prefer Dirac over Audessey.
Another epic intro (and video) from HSTUDIO! ... The go to channel for home theatre tours. Re: rear speaker positioning - The front row could be moved over to the right I suppose, putting them closer to the centre, especially with the side door opening outwards. Also, the front row isle seat seems to have the most creases in it, which could mean that's the main seat, which is more or less in the middle of the rear speakers... let's face it, no one cares about the cheap seats 🤣 Never the less, I think this theatre is my new favourite home theatre... minimalist and clean 😊 Keep up the good work Sarkis ✊🏽
Haha thank you so much!! Your absolutely right! That isle seat is my main seat which is dead center in the room so at the end of the day that seat is the money seat 😀. I probably could move the front row center but it’s just me and my wife so having all the rows even with each other makes the room feel bigger.
I know what you mean about it just being you and your wife... Since I upgraded to a 5.3.4 and 119" projector screen nearly two years ago, although my friends are always around and we're always watching films, its always on my 65" sony (projector screen is an in ceiling motorised) I've never used it with them to its full potential, you can't! When your with your extended family and friends etc they always want to talk so your always turning the sound up and down. The only people that can use it for what it is designed for are the home owners... and that's the way I like it 🤣
@@thehal991 😂 couldn’t of said it any better!! Your absolutely right!! Nothing kills a movie more than talking during the whole thing. Lately I’ve been putting them in the back row in the corner that way if they do talk I don’t hear anything lol
Vraiment très Sympa, sauf la taille de la toile encore trop petite pour vraiment être dedans, A 8 minutes 45 ont le voient bien qu'elle est trop petite sinon Superbe
Nice looking room. I am surprised at the statement of replacing the Oppo 203 with the Sony. Only reason I would have done that is to generate funds to go elsewhere in the room. Since it was asked in the video, Surrounds are at correct height and the rears toed in like that for the front center and aisle seat is just fine. I am guessing the wall and rear seats are for guests or kids where critical sound isn't appreciated.
The change was made to trying out something different and also capitalize abit of $$ from the oppo and later found out the Sony has the same mediatek chip the Oppo had, who knows what the future holds but his got his eyes on the Reavon 😉👌 Thanks for watching
@@hstudio30 I can attest to loving my Reavon X200. Wasn't all that impressed at first, but the more I learned what it could do and did AB comparisons to my LG UBK90, the more I like it.
I absolutely loved my Oppo when I had it but the second they announced the closure they stopped giving updates to the players and I had a couple of discs that wouldn’t play with it. It started freezing on my as well so I figured I’d try my luck somewhere else. I noticed the Sony 1100es had the same mediatek chip so it was worth a shot and I wasn’t giving up any picture quality. I’m definitely thinking about getting the Reavon player though. Waiting for the review to drop on that one!
@@edub2694 Manual is pure wasted paper. Didn't learn anything from it and I had to print it off as it did not come with it. My TV stand has the middle shelf, where I put it, is glass. At first I thought it was noisy but it turned out it was transmitting vibrations to my Laserdisc player that I was hearing. I removed the Laserdisc player off the shelf and it was silent. At first it wasn't reading all my files on my external hard drive. I would have to exit a folder and come back in to see. Lately I have not noticed it. I think it may have needed time to build a table of contents or something. When playing MKVs or M2TS it was playing in SDR not seeing the HDR/DV. There is a firmware update currently in beta and not on the website that resolves. Non anamorphic DVDs had a nasty ugly stretch at default. Oh and did I just waste that much money thought. Things I like! Now monkey see, monkey do playing with the remote I learned a lot. Zoom functions are great and help significantly with old DVDs. Picture adjustments with non-HDR content to fine tune image to liking. Quick easy access to change audio tracks and subtitle tracks on both discs and files. I noticed picture quality improvement right off the bat, but didn't truly appreciate how much better it was until I did AB comparisons to my LG UBK90. The instant sight to my shared network files. Small but big to me was being able to play music files and it would continue playing while I browsed for the next song. My Sony and LG stopped playing as soon as I exited the track. SACD/DSD playback worked great out of the box and the beta firmware provides additional settings. On AVS Forums one person said they experienced Midway and Knives Out freezing on their Panasonic. I have read Sony experiencing lockups. My LG had some lockups recently as well with BD100 discs. So far I have not had a freeze. I played Midway for that user with no issues. Is it worth it's price tag? For me yes as it does what I was doing before with two players, improved video quality and adjustments, Feels and looks like nice build quality. It has grown on me.
Matching up the gunfire and the explosion in the movie clips with the intro music was mind blowing. Epic intro. Thanks Sarkis for a movie trailer experience in your room tours. 🔥❤🔥❤🔥
The cinema looks absolutely awesome. Well build and cool design. However, I am always surprised, that most American installers don’t use AT screens, but speakers in front of the screen. I see 3 major advantages in doing that: - the sound comes directly out of the image, making the experience more immersive. - you can use 3 identical front speakers for perfect acoustic homogeneity. Also, in-wall/ on wall speakers are usually a little cheaper for the same performance, as no luxurious case is needed. Another added benefit is that no light reflects from the speakers. - a non-AT screen is a big acoustic reflector in a psychoacoustically very relevant area. With an AT screen, you can absorb sound behind the screen. This is not a criticism, just wondering as I see this in most European high end home cinemas, but a lot more rarely in Northern America.
Nice room but not a fan of the movie trailer intro’s. It’s very disconnected and has nothing to do with the space. I can see you gathered a lot of inspiration from other UA-cam Channels for the new style!
Thanks D D, i guess my way of introductions are different, its not suppose to be connected, these rooms belong to owners that want to share their fav movie aswell as their rooms.. i create content that id like to watch. As for the studio ( this is my office for the time being until new home gets built ), i decided to spice up the mood with some lighting. Thanks for watching✌
Streaming surround sound? Streaming does not support surround sound. 4K players with audio output being phased out. OPPO 205 4K player no longer produced price for NOS $8000. and Panasonic DP-UB9000 being discontinued. Also HDMI cable has lower power for audio output. If you buy a surround sound system, there is no way to listen ? There is no info I can find that talks
@@hstudio30 the Denon's display has one line of text. The movies are on the projector. You did get the 7.2.4 right by counting speakers, rather than unused jacks on the back of the Denon.
Haha they work for now. At some point I’ll upgrade to Focal speakers all around and SVS subs but I wanted to get the aesthetics of the room done first and then I can slowly start replacing the speakers. Good bang for the buck though.

I would recommend replacing the rear surrounds with book shelf RP-500M for more direct sound. I would also go with SVS PC4000 subwoofers and maybe move the Klipsch to the rear of the room to balance out the bass back there.
Great Room.

Has there been any issues with the silver carpet bouncing light back to the screen? I have a similar set up and I feel like my silver carpet may have been a mistake.
lighter carpet / walls will always have some form of distraction for some people but the owner doesn't think so and loves the vibe!
I have that Basx five channel in my much less expensive setup, you don't have to spend a fortune for great sound, and I also have a Denon.
That is correct, you can easily have a budget setup that sounds great. 👌🍻
@@hstudio30 Well, it's a 20,000 system geared towards audio (B&W 7 AND 6 series, Parasound) but the Basx keeps up really well with the surround side of things
Seems awesome man shoot me an email if you like 👌🍻

Thank you!
Thanks for watching Victor👍
Fully sick, bro ;)
😉👌Thanks🍻
Very stylish room. Nice colours etc. 👍🏻
As Sarkis asked for comments, I’m guessing perhaps they use the large floor space in the middle for other uses?

Looks really good. I probably would have went with some pb16 ultras with a room that size.
Their a great choice also but im sure these 2 spl120's still shake a few things..Thanks for watching
Ahhh, everyone’s dream subwoofer (including me) normally I’d remind you of the price of a pair, but after seeing the JVC strapped to the ceiling, I’m sure it’s just a matter of time, isn’t that right Eric?? 🤣
Haha 👆
@@thehal991 Haha that’s right! That’s the endgame right there!
Wow awesome theater! Hidden speakers and electronics makes it look nice and clean but I must say I like it more when the speakers are visible. I mean you have put a lot of money and effort in selecting the speakers you buy so why not show it off for people.
Glad you enjoyed it and thanks for sharring your thoughts. Cheers
Hai what is the size of your theatre room ?
That rear speaker placement is interesting... Seems like he would get a lot of reflections and unwanted sound from the wall?
So far Erik sais sounds great, but he would answer this better, which im sure he will reply soon 👍🍻
Thank you mate, the 2 movies were The town andddddd... im Batman 😉🍻
@@hstudio30 The Town was the Ben/Casey Affleck heist film? I'm sure I saw it a few years ago.
Yes sir 👌
Thank you so much! I appreciate it. Yeah I’m really looking forward to the star ceiling. It’ll definitely give it that nice pop for sure!
What's the background on your monitor? 😍
Nice video
As long that you still can see the screen, you will hear a big improvement.
Cheers for watching mate✌
Awesome room tour! I'd just suggest that the home owner move the side surrounds further back to maybe in between the the front and rear seats. Surrounds shouldn't be in front of both rows of seats. Also, using the Klipsch RP-500SA speakers as back surrounds placed directly behind the last row of seats would provide much better pinpoint & immersive sound. Otherwise, a great home theater. Thanks.
Well said james and cheers for your thoughts. Great advice and thanks for watching 👍
Yes, agreed... however, I think in this case the positioning might be compromised by the side door, they have to either be in their current location or at the other side of the door, where you suggested... but if they’re too close to the rears they’d just bleed into eachother - no bueno! 🤣
Well spotted though....
@@monijam1 Ahh man I bet that sounds awesome in your room. Thank you so much for the compliments. I appreciate it!
In the video i also say what the Emotiva is powering Paul 👍
Also, the front row isle seat seems to have the most creases in it, which could mean that's the main seat, which is more or less in the middle of the rear speakers... let's face it, no one cares about the cheap seats 🤣
Never the less, I think this theatre is my new favourite home theatre... minimalist and clean 😊
Keep up the good work Sarkis ✊🏽
Thank you Mr HAL! Truly means alot to hear your feedback. As always thanks for the constant support🙏
Vraiment très Sympa, sauf la taille de la toile encore trop petite pour vraiment être dedans,
A 8 minutes 45 ont le voient bien qu'elle est trop petite sinon Superbe
@@jjchmiel78 may I ask what you didn’t like at first about the player?

Rear speakers should be much closer together. The left rear speaker is much too far left and working against the left surround speaker.
Do you think bringing it closer is a good choice or..?
@@hstudio30 Yes I think bringing it closer is a good idea. Angle of incidence is more important than distance from listener.
How much would a duplicate room for my home estimate cost
Hey greg, not quiet sure what you mean..are you asking if we sell these kinds of setups?
I am indian.. 🙏🙏🙏
So how is this considered an 8K Home Theater Room?
The cinema looks absolutely awesome. Well build and cool design.
However, I am always surprised, that most American installers don’t use AT screens, but speakers in front of the screen.
I see 3 major advantages in doing that:
- the sound comes directly out of the image, making the experience more immersive.
I think people this decision because of budget / wanting to see their speakers and ofcoarse space. Thanks for watching 👍
Whenever the center is placed below the screen instead of behind it, it sounds bad, no matter how much $ you throw at it.
respectfully i have to disagree :D
There’s no 8K content?

Nice room but not a fan of the movie trailer intro’s. It’s very disconnected and has nothing to do with the space. I can see you gathered a lot of inspiration from other UA-cam Channels for the new style!
Thanks D D, i guess my way of introductions are different, its not suppose to be connected, these rooms belong to owners that want to share their fav movie aswell as their rooms.. i create content that id like to watch.
