Hello from New York, thank you for the tour of your home theater and love everything you have done in your theater, this is a journey and best part is when we experience the journey from the start till end, I own home theater as well and I started few years back and now I have pretty much maxed out when it comes to how many speakers I can have in my living room, I have 7.6.2 system that I love, I built my LCR's speakers and subs and they can rock the house, keep the videos coming, thank you,
Thank you so much! i am very glad you enjoyed my set up and wow your setup sounds awesome! I wish I had installed larger LCR's as well. I hope you subscribed :) Do you have videos or photos of your theater ??
A beautiful set up. I love the whole cinema tone that you have gone for. I am in my early 60s and, although having Netflix and so on, still prefer to actually own films and TV series that I love. My 4K collection now numbers 200+ and I have about 2,000 Blu-Rays and about 1,000 DVDs and even about 500 Video tapes still. I know that makes me look as though I came from the Ark but I just have to have the actual media, along with the cover art, and are forever rearranging them in Alphabetical , Genre or Decade order. OCD perhaps but it has to be done. I do not have a cinema room but a pretty good set up with 7.1 and lighting. One day perhaps when I win the lottery I may have the home cinema.
Hi Nick; wow that is amazing. I can complete relate to that. I am an old soul haha and having the DVD's and blurays in hand is just another feeling! I have them displayed in alphabetical order also! I can totally get the whole OCD thing haha

Great setup you have here, and excellent advice. I know about most of what you cover because I went through setting up my own home cinema a few years ago. It's a little more modest as I'm in the UK and most houses aren't that large + don't have basements. I have 5.1.4 with a 100" screen in what was once a garage, with KEF speakers (other than the sub) and an Epson projector. Only 4 seats, but it still feels like a cinema and people love coming over to watch things!
Amazing video! I really appreciate you taking the time to show and explain everything. I am starting my theater and love your audio setup. I have a question. The sony amp you have listed, what is it driving? I would love to see a full audio setup tutorial if you feel like making another video. Keep up the great work!

Hi Chris, the acoustic panels were made at home. I think there's a clip of it somewhere or maybe in my first video. We just took wood panels, made a box, threw in some safe n sound insulation (that's not bad for the environment and health of course) we then wrapped it with some acoustic fabric (mesh speaker cloth) and on the back we put French cleats and wine corks so they stick out about 1" from the wall. It is a tedious job to do it yourself but I saved 100's of dollars and they are doing a great job!
Awesome, please do more videos on each of every components like speaker choices and all materials in details. Your research would help alot of people looking at different angles! Screw those saying you rich or can/cant afford this and that, if you know your budget and know how to play it well slowly upgrading, you are fine. Oh by the way, explain abit of yourself what you do for living and stuff? Love your technical skills and passion on this, oh yeah, talk movies too!
Thank you so much Nick!!! I will definitely make more videos in detail!!! This is just the beginning. Really appreciate it!!! Let me know what else you would like me to post! and have you watched all the videos of the theatre? Like Part 1/2 and walk through!? Also; I am self employed. I have more than 1 job. 3 different fields of work lol
Thanks for taking the time and making a part 2, great video, but you changed the mask on the Squid Game dude, I prefer the original tv mask, that was the best part outside of the theater room! 🤔
Thank you man! && Haha! No no it is back to squid game again. That was for Halloween and lights up in flashing red. I just forgot to change it back to the squid game mask lol
Not yet! I put up some clips, but to be honest, it's not any different than some of the videos already on UA-cam. We basically drilled holes into mdf and made 6 8x4 panels. About 500 optical wires :)
Hi Ali, I had a question: did you DIY your door to the theater or did you have them custom made? Would you mind sharing a link with more information? Thanks!
Hi there, Everything from drywall to finish was DIY. Nobody did anything. Everything custom including even the signs :) You can find more of my videos here : ua-cam.com/play/PLbf9vIKh2Zxe_scn2ti4hozKdOjRNLrXD.html&si=ys4cMtncdZXe41Qb and in each video you will find links in the description. If something isn't listed feel free to ask :)
MashaAllah, everything u put in the right direction, color scheme, ceiling, seating, speakers placement, audio/video rack, lighting, entrance door etc. Ur theater room is quite specious so 2 subwoofers might not give that punch.
Hey buddy. To be honest, nowadays, they have a 5,.1 Dolby atmos soundbar available. You don't need to get all 5 separate speakers. You can just have a soundbar with wireless rear speakers... If you are asking which brand... Depends on where you live.. I like Sony and Samsung :)
Thanks for the details., could you share some information on the screen., I’m planning to go for 135”. I know some Elite brands on Amazon., and their framed screens come with a metal bar in the center to support the whole frame.. will this center bar impede the sound of in wall center channel?
Thank you Pavan. I got my screen from Grandview screens. They are based in China. I was looking on Amazon and I found Elite Brands to be the second choice... and noooo not at all. Don't worry about the center speaker.. As long as your screen is a Acoustic Transparent Screen you will be fine.
Hi again, just a quick question: did you put a splitter on the hdmi cable at the receiver (hdmi out) to go from the receiver to the projector and to the washroom tv? If so, can you provide a link to the splitter? Thank you!!
Hi again, my amplifier has a monitor 1 and a monitor 2 ouput. I did not use a splitter on the hdmi cable. Also, I never ever use this option unless I am watching something in super low quality. Anytime you split a video into two different hdmi outputs you are going to loose the video quality very badly! I know this because when I played something in 1080. It was like 720p on each Monitor lol. So if you are going to watch something in 4k and split it into two different monitors.. Just know that you will get 1080 on each... Not worth it! Unless you are watching a sports game or something :) Hope that helps?
Great video. Very thoughtful explanation especially for someone like me who is a novice when it come to home theatre. Could you please share the speakers the model numbers you bought
Thank you so much!! you can watch more of my videos here: ua-cam.com/play/PLbf9vIKh2Zxe_scn2ti4hozKdOjRNLrXD.html&si=ys4cMtncdZXe41Qb and as for the speakers models, where to buy are all in the description :)
As I mentioned before in another video, your basement is kick a$$. I absolutely love it, great job with it. How did you make you theatre door? What is that called that design or pattern?
Thanks Franco; Thank you !! and the door was made with using vinyl wrap (leather look) This type of design is called "Tufting" Which is usually found in restaurant chairs and booths seating etc.
Hi awesome beautiful I would like to ask you is the size of the theater after you was done with sound proofing or before. Please help me I’m trying replicate exactly what you did in there hopefully you can help me love your vision everything hopefully you don’t mind me copying you. Thank you.
Hi NOT at all! I think there are like 50 people on here that are copying lol I don't mind at all. I am glad the videos are helping out others. You can watch all of my videos here if you are planning from the beginning.. Here's the link.. ua-cam.com/play/PLbf9vIKh2Zxe_scn2ti4hozKdOjRNLrXD.html&si=ys4cMtncdZXe41Qb Also, the room was originally 21x17 and 9 ft ceiling. After the double drywalling, sono pans the room kind of got smaller and now it is exactly 19 (length) x 15.5 (width) and 8ft ceiling because of the star lighting etc I hope that answers your question?
Hi there! Here's a full timelapse video that shows everything I did start to finish. I figured this would be easier since a lot of people were asking me about the framing/electric and soundproofing. Ali, in clip 12:10 of the video, you pointed out the bar frig.... I've been shopping around for one. Which one did you choose, and or do you recommend something else?
Hi! To be honest I don't like the one I have.. it was a gift so I can't return it lol. Mine is from Frigidaire but the drinks are not too cold for my liking. I think 40 degrees is very warm! I like my drinks cool! Other then that; the lighting and design is very cool! Kind of wish it had different options to change the LED colors. Only comes in blue...
@THOMAS MAMPRA you don't need a processor. I don't have one. I would invest in the actual projector and screen first. Next Seating. For Amplifier...what system do you want to run? 5.1? 7.1? 7.2? 9.4? All depends how many Ceiling speakers you also want. Then I can recommend it. How big is the your room?

Hi Jeremy, Yes, I am in Canada. Where are you located? Do they have any other options besides Sonopan where you are? I am curious because a lot of people are asking me...
Hello, I did not mention that in the video because at the time of the video vs when people are going to be watching in the future the prices will change. But for the theater you can put aside 30K for the video/audio equipment alone.
Hi Focut, the screen is a Acoustic Transparent Screen. There are many on the market and all do a good job! Just make sure its a 4k screen even if your projector is a 1080...
@@saccity1985 The entire basement was quite costly because it did not have any rough-in or electrical work. I went a little extreme because I was building an addition to the house. And I put Ethernet cables (hardwire) into each and every room of the house. It cost me around $150K ish to finish the entire basement (Washroom, Kitchen, Bedrooms, Theater Room with 100+ pot lights, and all the electrical work). I did it my self so I saved a lot of cost that way :)

Awesome video, how did you make starlight, did you diy or get pre make
Thank you! and I made it myself..
Love it!!! Quick question...Where did you get the bezel(trim) piece that are around your in-wall Klipsh speakers?
Thank you! Which bezel? For the back speakers ?? Or the front ? Everything came with the speakers :)
So many great little tips about the door.
Glad it was helpful!
Thoughts about projector sony?
Best projector hands down!! I'd buy it again and again :)
hi. here you get posters ? trying to get some like yours. thanks
Hi I ordered the posters from allmovieposters.com. Then I just purchased 24x36 poster frames. Very simple and cheap :)
Well done, Congrats!!!
Thanks Oscar!
nice setup ....do you have a video on how you built your star ceiling..?...
Not yet! I put up some clips, but to be honest, it's not any different than some of the videos already on UA-cam. We basically drilled holes into mdf and made 6 8x4 panels. About 500 optical wires :)
@@raghibphotography ok thank you..
Hi Ali, I had a question: did you DIY your door to the theater or did you have them custom made? Would you mind sharing a link with more information? Thanks!
Hi there, Everything from drywall to finish was DIY. Nobody did anything. Everything custom including even the signs :)
You can find more of my videos here :
ua-cam.com/play/PLbf9vIKh2Zxe_scn2ti4hozKdOjRNLrXD.html&si=ys4cMtncdZXe41Qb
and in each video you will find links in the description. If something isn't listed feel free to ask :)
Wow! Awesome! Thank you!
Glad you liked it!
Assalamu Alaikum bro!
Looking forward to your up coming videos! Please keep the content coming!!
Walikum salam brother! Thank you so much, hopefully you subscribed as well. Did you see both parts??
@@raghibphotography - Yes, I did!! What do you have next in store?
MashaAllah, everything u put in the right direction, color scheme, ceiling, seating, speakers placement, audio/video rack, lighting, entrance door etc.
Ur theater room is quite specious so 2 subwoofers might not give that punch.
Thanks bhai! Yes, the subwoofers will be upgraded in the near future :) Glad you liked everything else!!
Any recomendations for a living room surround sound setup would be much appreciated. I noted you had a 5.1 in your living room
Hey buddy. To be honest, nowadays, they have a 5,.1 Dolby atmos soundbar available. You don't need to get all 5 separate speakers. You can just have a soundbar with wireless rear speakers... If you are asking which brand... Depends on where you live.. I like Sony and Samsung :)
This theater/ man cave is amazing bro! I love it
Thanks brother!!!
As long as your screen is a Acoustic Transparent Screen you will be fine.
pretty sweet setup!!!!
Thank you Sir!
I love it!
Thank you Octane!
Unless you are watching a sports game or something :)
Hope that helps?
@@raghibphotography you’re the best, thanks for the reply! Ok. I understand now.
Great video. Very thoughtful explanation especially for someone like me who is a novice when it come to home theatre. Could you please share the speakers the model numbers you bought
Thank you so much!! you can watch more of my videos here:
ua-cam.com/play/PLbf9vIKh2Zxe_scn2ti4hozKdOjRNLrXD.html&si=ys4cMtncdZXe41Qb
and as for the speakers models, where to buy are all in the description :)
Great job 👏
Thank you EJAZ! Cheers!
@@raghibphotography Oh so that’s just a pattern on a vinyl wrap not the actual tufting done to the door?
Hi awesome beautiful I would like to ask you is the size of the theater after you was done with sound proofing or before.
Please help me I’m trying replicate exactly what you did in there hopefully you can help me love your vision everything hopefully you don’t mind me copying you.
Thank you.
Hi NOT at all! I think there are like 50 people on here that are copying lol I don't mind at all. I am glad the videos are helping out others. You can watch all of my videos here if you are planning from the beginning.. Here's the link..

Also, the room was originally 21x17 and 9 ft ceiling.
This videos shows the step by step process:
ua-cam.com/video/p1hiFT305HM/v-deo.htmlsi=UMVGclcm9kLi-0fQ
Ali, in clip 12:10 of the video, you pointed out the bar frig.... I've been shopping around for one. Which one did you choose, and or do you recommend something else?
Hi! To be honest I don't like the one I have.. it was a gift so I can't return it lol. Mine is from Frigidaire but the drinks are not too cold for my liking. I think 40 degrees is very warm! I like my drinks cool! Other then that; the lighting and design is very cool! Kind of wish it had different options to change the LED colors. Only comes in blue...
Amazing n beauty .can I about cost?
Hi Sharad, the theater only was around 50K Cad. That includes all the equipment, furniture etc :)
Really appreciate the tips! Can you give me a rough idea of how much of the budget should be allocated to labour and decoration?
Hi there! Thank you. The speakers and equipment itself were around 30K. You can say another 20K for the seats and wiring labor etc
great content here people !
Thanks buddy
Can you please tell me about the AVR /Power Amp/ Processor etc that are you used??
Hi Thomas, Here's another detailed video, and everything I used in the AV rack is also in the description. ua-cam.com/video/7G7YEhUqblk/v-deo.html
.
@@raghibphotography
If I have an AVR
Need Processor ??
Or
Need Power Amp ??
I want to make top end model Home theater
@THOMAS MAMPRA you don't need a processor. I don't have one. I would invest in the actual projector and screen first. Next Seating. For Amplifier...what system do you want to run? 5.1? 7.1? 7.2? 9.4? All depends how many Ceiling speakers you also want. Then I can recommend it. How big is the your room?
Hey Man, I live in Toronto and want to ask which company you used to build?

Are you based in Canada. I’ve heard Sonopan is only accessible there.
Hi Jeremy, Yes, I am in Canada. Where are you located? Do they have any other options besides Sonopan where you are? I am curious because a lot of people are asking me...
How much is the total spend? Did I miss that? I did not hear any figure
Hello, I did not mention that in the video because at the time of the video vs when people are going to be watching in the future the prices will change. But for the theater you can put aside 30K for the video/audio equipment alone.
1) have a house
2) have a basement
3) have enough money
Never enough!! Lol
whats the best home theater amp i got a dennon right now
Hi, I prefer Denon. Pioneer is really nice too :)
Masha Allah. Beautiful and elegant
Salam, Thank you so much 😊
Plz give some details about Projector Screen too
Hi Focut, the screen is a Acoustic Transparent Screen. There are many on the market and all do a good job! Just make sure its a 4k screen even if your projector is a 1080...
GREAT THEATER WHAT IS THE SIZE OF THE ROOM
Thanks! It's 21Lx16Wx8.7H
You didn't leave a link for acoustic panels
@abel2431 Hi the acoustic panels are home made :)
Real shame I can’t get the speakers in the uk
Amazon UK?
@@raghibphotography yea
What's the total cost for everything?
Hi there the entire basement or just the theater room?
@@raghibphotography The entire basement
@@saccity1985 The entire basement was quite costly because it did not have any rough-in or electrical work. I went a little extreme because I was building an addition to the house. And I put Ethernet cables (hardwire) into each and every room of the house. It cost me around $150K ish to finish the entire basement (Washroom, Kitchen, Bedrooms, Theater Room with 100+ pot lights, and all the electrical work). I did it my self so I saved a lot of cost that way :)
@Ali Raghib Wow! It turned out amazing though. What do you do for work?
@Billy Inglett Thanks, man! I'm a general contractor and have a few other businesses as well (shops) and also do some photography on the side too :)
By far the best movie theater I've seen! Such a beautiful theater man. I like everything about it including the color choices. I hope you and your family get to enjoy it on a regular basis. Btw may I ask what are the dimensions of your theater?
Thanks so much! My family and I are down here almost daily or 4.5 times a week for sure haha.
