INTERVIEW WITH BRIAN IN A NEW VIDEO!!! - ua-cam.com/video/Sg1U9_R6Wy4/v-deo.html
whats with the side angle? its strange.
I just wanted it cost, not really concerned with the breakdown. Thanks
Wow. Just wow. Even my wife said “this is the nicest home theatre we’ve seen on any channel” I’d have to agree.
Well done.
Glad you (and your wife) liked it Paul! My wife was definitely involved in some of the design choices to put it over the top! You know what they say, "happy wife, happy theater that I sometimes get to enjoy guilt-free". :)
I agreed, looks nicer than the movie theater
@@pitech4446 thanks, I've definitely been less excited about going to a theatre ... I feel like it's a step down in some ways. :)
@@Brian-xt7yr I am absolutely floored by your theater it looks stunning! Love the Smart aspects of the theater
@@ark9515 thank you, I love the automation as well.
This theater setup is a Life Goal! Great Job.
THAT is a beautiful theater! I had one similar (not as nice, but custom chairs on risers, high-end projector, screen, same size room w/custom A/C, etc). Spent around 20k and it was my pride and joy and I LOVED watching movies in it more than going out to a theater. Then I got divorced. My current theater is a converted enclosed carport, with crappy acoustics, no insulation so the split a/c unit struggles to keep up with the beastly heat in the summer, frigid temps in the winter. I miss my wife, but I think I miss that theater more
Do you at least get visitation rights with the theater?
@@TumescentToucan Don't you know I took it apart and took as much of it with me as possible when I moved. The customized space I created was the biggest tragedy of the loss. I dream of the day I win the lottery and will have something close to Brian's theater ;)
Awesome set-up...
BRIAN IS A VERY SMART MAN ........ WOW, THIS IS THE BEST I'VE EVER SEEN ......SO LUCKY TO HAVE THIS IN THEIR HOME.
Wait to you see my star wars theme theatre im doing in my house .stay tuned i took a second job just to pull this off
Stellar design engineering propels the passengers comfortably into the immersive audio, visual, tactile environment.
Bravo, Brian!
In such a beautiful private cinema with luxurious decor, I admit to being surprised that you did not install JBL audio equipment.
That said, Bowers & Wilkins is a very good brand but has no experience in professional cinema and film studios where films are made with JBL monitors most of the time. I would have seen JBL SYNTHESIS. But maybe it's a question of budget because JBL let's face it, it's expensive.
Tony, I LOVE how you put everything that was used in the build in the description.
Nothing is more annoying when you see a sweet build on yt and they don't even mention the stuff used, let alone put it in the description!
Great job man, keep up the great content!!
Glad you liked it!
This home theater is so awesome. I wish I could have something like that. I bet he can't wait to watch Maverick at home. That would be so much fun. Great job guys.
I was just thinking about Maverick. You nailed it! Now just trying to decide if I’ll watch it on physical media (ie Blu-ray) or rip the disc into MKV to take advantage of some enhancements through something like a Zidoo.
You want one? I build them.
@@darkzoneattractions1060 I do. But I don't have the space. Maybe one day in the future.
@@brianckaufman one of the best home theater I have ever seen.. would you mind sharing how much money you have spent in total?
@@jospdcunha thanks for the kind words. This theatre was between $40k-$60k depending on some of the finishes and equipment.
Amazing theatre, it’s such an inspiration, total class.
Bravo Brian. That is one of the best home theater designs I have ever seen. Gear, acoustic treatment and just overall look of everything is top notch. Congrats and enjoy.
Wow, thank you! I had a lot of help and inspiration from the Discord community ... and my wife. ;)
what an absolutely phenomenal theater and so well documented!

This is excellent. Very inspiring. It’s rare to see a HT room that has a cohesive and pleasing decor. I like the architectural elements with the shiplap and slatted wood. Thanks for sharing!
Thank you! I know everyone's style is different, but this was a great fit for me. I'll go in there just to relax without turning anything on!
@@Brian-xt7yr I keep coming back to this one. I get major inspiration from this, as I think it's the best thought out theater of any I've seen, at any price range. The architecture and decor are perfectly integrated with the technology, which seems to be exceedingly difficult for even the high-end theater designers and installers. I rarely see proper 7.2.4 setups that are warm and inviting spaces for both family and adults.
I am a really big fan of this walk through.
Thank you for taking the time to put it together.
All that fancy shit but yet he uses a projector why not an LG G2 86 inch
Watching this one again....beautiful room, beautiful video. Awesome!
Amazing room Brian, love the clean look. Another great video Tony
Thanks Leo, appreciate the kind words.
Amazing!! Beautiful and detailed design.
Glad to see that the rock creature from the Thor movies found a new passion. Quality stuff.
Wow!
Hey Tony, this is a phenomenal home theater. Just incredible. Great review
Absolutely stunning. Well done!
This is a well thought out and beautiful home theater. Excellent job sir!
Hell i could just sit there all day and night watching movies, watching football and playing my PS4. Lol.
What a beautiful space, well done Brian. Great choice of speakers too!
Thanks Stephan ... I'm really happy with Bowers & Wilkins.
This is UHHMAZING! The attention to detail. Very modern and classy, Very well done. You can tell every aspect was thought out and you can tell. Again, well done.
Thank you Abel! I've really enjoyed the entire process from designing to building and the ongoing learning!
this is a dream... One day, one fine day this shall be fulfilled 😇
This is what I call "The Dream Theater" which I'm a big fan of 🤩👍
Not sure what's better, the theatre room, or the production on this video! well done.
Best home theater design I have seen in UA-cam.
Wow, awesome man. This is indeed the way.
That's amazing.. well thought out and designed.
Well done 👏🏼 👍🏼 Brian ✊🏼✌🏼
And thank you for demo,
Thanks to Build Montage.
From England 🏴
Glad you enjoyed it!
Beautiful!
I keep rewinding to that AMAZING foyer. Love everything about this theatre!
Thanks for the kind words, Jaylu! It's been a lot of fun designing & building. The foyer might be my favorite part!
Very nice setup provided a lot of inspiration
Another excellent theater build! thanks for showing all the details.
Thanks Ren, the details defintiely matter!
Outstanding!
It is more than awesome !!!
Well done. Classy build
Absolutely awesome theatre and one of the best I have seen. Attention to detail is fantastic, Outstanding work and great use of the lighting.
Thank you Mark, I'm so glad you enjoyed the tour!
That is nice I like that good job 👏
It's good!
This is phenomenal 😮. Super impressive!!!
I can really appreciate Brian's home theater I love the Sony projector, screen innovations slate acoustic cinescope screen and bowers and willkins speakers combination cause that's exactly what I want when I buy a new house a few years ago I wouldn't have known how premium his home theater really is I forgot about the vicoustic panels a must also p.s nice av rack
The owner did this himself? Wow! Good for him 👍
Thanks, I had a lot of help from my dad, my wife, and the Discord community!

amazing design!!! great job!!!!
Great Home Theater.... well done.
The list of equipment is great and really useful. Great video
great setup ... just amazing !
This guy did his homework! Amazing!!
I appreciate the amount of detail in both the room, and the links to products.
Thanks for making this video and sharing this cinema! It's absolutely incredible. Brian did such a great job with his pre-vis and planning. It really shows.
I'm of the same school of thought that the best home cinemas are the ones that are planned before the home is even built.
Lovely !!!
Brian really spent a lot of thought on this project! Great results!
Absolutely Awesome 💪
Very nice! Gotta love a bit of B&W too 😀
Wow, congrats 🙏
Stunning and impressive! 2 Thumbs up indeed!
Wow - perfection!
Thanks for this
Excellent work. Great use of space and well designed. 👌
Thank you Alan, it’s hard to believe this was supposed to just be unfinished storage space above the living room!
Wow, just wow! This is one of the best ones I've seen so far and the size of the room matches my planned space, so I can get a decent appreciation for the amount of room to work with. One day, when I'm big, this is what my theatre will look like - for now, baby steps :).
Thank you!
Stunning home theatre, im very envious.
No words no words...i hope ill definitely build one like this.. 🍷
Awesome theater, totally awesome
Awesome room Brian!
Absolutely fabulous fantastic 😍😇👌
This room is amazing. I’m starting my room now and will be referring to this often
Glad the room can offer some inspiration. I definitely borrowed a lot of inspiration from others!
I have so many adjectives to describe your home theater, Brian. Stunning, beautiful, cohesive, classy, well-planned… that’s just the start. I love the “modernized classic” look with its high-end and balanced design that doesn’t read overly masculine or feminine. I love everything about the entrance. I love all the thought you put into creating a room that surely sets a very special mood and makes one feel fortunate to be in. The materials, color choices, lighting, textures, even scents…just superb, and I haven’t even mentioned the excellent AV equipment or acoustic treatment yet. This is one of my very favorite home theater rooms I’ve seen on YT, and I watch a loooot of these style videos. Your room will absolutely stick with me as I continue with my own room in progress, and I would be ecstatic to reach half the aesthetic that you have accomplished here. Exceptionally well done, sir.
Thank you for the kind words, Daniel. It's been a lot of fun sharing my room and getting such great feedback. Like you, I've spent a lot of time watching UA-cam tours, saving things on Pinterest, and trying to incorporate my favorite aspects of design inspiration. I'm really happy with where things are, but as with most hobbies, always looking forward to learning more and tweaking along the way.
This is a bit random, but would you mind telling me a bit more about the vertical wood slats you installed around your entryway light switch? I would love to do that with mine as well. Are they all separate or is it a pre-made panel? And if separate, are they oak, did you stain them, and do you just cut a 45 bevel using miter saw for the sections around the switch? Again, gorgeous and super welcoming theater design! I appreciate any response about the wood slats!
Brian is a mad man. Making the riser a bass trap - *NEXT* level. ;)
The vestibule and bar is just over the top. WELL done!
Amazing room with great attention to detail! I never thought of the self closing door with movie theater pull handle, I might be stealing that!
Ha ha, thanks, Adam. Yep, I love that ... especially with kids going in and out all the time. Why can't they just sit and chill out!? Anyway, the link to the door hardware is in the description.
Loving the cinema room, right up my street, great video
Absolutely amazing and classy!!
Thanks Mike!
Must be one of the best home theatres I’ve ever seen 👍
Beautiful.
Spectacular room Brian!! Also love your choice of speakers too. Great video as always Tony!

Very Nice!
Great, Amazing... i am falling short of words to say
Amazing😍
This room has me envious! Love the entryway!
Thanks, Michael. We had a unique floorplan that enabled us a little entry. Glad you liked how it turned out!
Fantastic Room. Great inspiration for me. I’ll start to build my own in the next year. Greatings from Poland.
Thanks Roberto, best of luck on your 2023 build!
I like u r video it was amazing cool theatre
Great room Brian and as always a great pic Tony
Thank you kindly
I definitely love the in wall cabinet for the equipment.... Well Done Brian!
Thanks Michael, it really made great use of that space. It really helps when it comes to servicing the equipment.
@@Brian-xt7yr I agree...it makes it quicker to react to any problem or a quick change... Trust me, I've been trying to figure out the best way to do that without leaving the theater. I'm in the early stages as well. We have the plans for our new retirement home. We'll find out in three weeks if the location is a go or not. Nevertheless, I'm thinking about incorporating your cabinet idea. I'll keep in touch...
Job well done!
I like that pull out rack, great theater & video
Amazing room, the detail is next level.
Thanks Mark ... turns out my Type-A personality has some benefits beyond driving my wife nuts! ;)
Beautiful room. Really well executed design.
Thank you Scott!
Amazing
Another nice one. I´ve been a nerd since my early teens and now i am getting back into it all. Thanks alot for your great vid´s. I have been viewing them alot lately.

Thanks, nerds run the world, just like Beyoncé said ... or something like that. ;)
absolutely incredible home theater. great breakdown as well
Brian's room is 🔥
Wow, very nice theater room!
wow, exelent explain ,about new hometheater
Damn nice
Nice theater and vid.
When money is no object, only your imagination is your limitation. So basically most of us are sitting here with our mouths wide open, and can only dream about it 😂
I'm not sure if you watched the follow up but Brian addressed this. He pretty much compared it to buying a dream car or spending money on any other hobby. He took out a loan to pay for this and even though I would never do it (my entire home theater is used stuff I bought at garage sales or on ebay) I can understand his approach. He's going to use this room for a decade or more and if his family spends a lot of time in there it will probably be worth it to him.
Make a 5 year saving plan, grind and get your money up. Instead of wishing
Very impressive home theater, thanks for sharing Brian & BM 👊🏼
Thanks for watching!
Thanks for the "cool" compliment, lilchilywily 👊
