Put rocks on that side in front of the pillar, so it'll match the rocks you're gonna put on the other side. Then landscape the rest as you were saying. Us Ladies have been waiting for the landscaping videos 😂.

The attachment is called a rotors tiller for the tractor, go slowly and make about three to four trips, soil will be perfect for the grass, one thing, do not forget the fertilizer lol

What's up Boss you just might have 2 different grass types depending on how far you go in between the trees Bermuda don't like Shade at all. Up by the house when finished landscaping go with Rocks in the flower beds. LOW MAINTENANCE.. ✌🏾

A BOSSMAN here’s a suggestion the way how things are going in this world today I would landscape it with edible plants or berries plants that would feed you and the family while making the place look delicious 😆😂.

Sir I would make 4' sidewalk around the whole house and the corners I would make it round. This way all the red and dirt won't get on all your walls .2 then you won't have to weed and get the grass of the side of the house. 3 you can walk around the house and don't track dirt in the house

You trying to burn those Snakes out LOL. Because all that debris in you're Yard is where the Snakes like to hide.
I went to my Brothers Ranch in Texas and he had a problem with Rattle Snakes that were in a Wood Pile he had in the back of his House.
We did not kill the Snakes we got a long stick and took 6 Rattle Snakes out of the Wood Pile and released them away from the House in another wood pile in the field and Burned the Wood Pile in his back yard.
People kill Snakes all the time or move them miles away from their house which is bad because they have a territory where they know where the water is and hibernating holes are and do not understand moving far away will kill them.

Hey Bossman, design your land scaping so you can see those rattlesnakes from out of striking range. I usually set my hose reel on a concrete paver , I do not have to use weed killer or barrier. You have a beautiful home. Centipede is used a lot in NC, that stuff spreads nice but I think you need special mower blades to keep it looking nice. I use fescue in my yard, I keep it around four inches during the summer and I fertilize it every three months. I use my mower to cut those leaves into mulch , the secret is to cut them when they are damp. Excellent content!

I think since you are concreting from the porch toward the driveway the distance of the yellow block on the house then you should concrete the same on the other side of the porch to make it look equal then landscape your circle on to the corner

Boss man,if u would invest in some gutters on your house that will prevent that water splash on your house also if you don't you are going to have a mess in your flower beds.... Putting ROCK on both sides will be on point 👉... Now as for you grass only a certain type of grass and flowers are going to grow in CLAY dirt which is what u have..... Disk the ground first THEN come back with the cultivator to smooth it out... GO TO THE FEED STORE A GET SOME RYE GRASS !!!! you just throw it out anywhere and it will be growing everywhere....

I run a mould board 2x plow heads, and we run that around the property. A mulcher on a skidsteer would be best if you can get access or rent one for a weekend. We have a problem with feral ash, cat claw acacia, gum belly , hackberry, and smooth bark mesquite. All of them are wrecking the woods for my deers ;) . The grow is just horrible and the un-wanted trees have taken over.
BTW burn control is not for the leaves on the ground, it's for the under growth that creeps ups. That is what you need to eliminate and to get more light on the ground.

Good morning, little big brother bossman - listen and listen well do not put any rocks or bushes around your house, I. front of your house; why ? See where your beautiful home is located? Snakes and snakes and more snakes will come in, so cement both sides so you can see your porch- no rocks!!! Snakes love rocks especially in the woods where you live. If you do landscape that close just be prepared to find some of those slithery things around - keep in mind when your family or kids are in the yard... I will comment more later

Hi Bossman, I think gutters on your house would prevent the rain from running down off the roof causing the red clay to splatter on the Stone causing a mess. Then plant grass and maybe some bushes in front of your house. That would look great 👍.

As far filling in w/ crete, I would always try to establish some semblance of symmetry if and when possible. Symmetry or balance against at least part of the house, not necessarily the entire front of the house. Sketching at scale helps as well as taking pics from different vantages in order to get ideas.

  • @terrell48
    @terrell48 Рік тому

I would put grass to the left of the door all the way up against the house, the less flower beds the less maintenance you will have for years to come just mow and weed eat, you should have gutters on your roof line to divert water from the house unless you have clay soil in which case you want the water against your slab to prevent slab cracking but looks like you have sandy soil so I would divert water away, the flower bed to the right of the door to the driveway and as you get older you have less flower beds to get maintained
50 lba of seed is a lot, Lowes has bermuda if you need more do not forget to drop some fertilizer to promote the grass growth

Hey as far as for big blue get you an old chain link fence about eight by eight an put plies on each end and get you a car stop curb the concrete type and lay it on the fence and attach to blue and pull it around over your yard, they do this on ball diamonds but you can do it to help smooth out ur yard and it’s a cheap tool !!😎😎💯
