Lol I did the freshman 50 many years ago. But recently I lost 45 pounds on the keto diet before the holidays, and I have only gained back about 4 pounds. I am also doing the intermittent fasting. I agree it’s hard to have a good night sleep as a truck driver, For many many years I have been getting about four hours of sleep a night, and I can definitely feel it, especially now that I have got control of everything that I was doing wrong. Congrats on your 24 pounds since Thanksgiving!

Thank you for this update. I am not in trucking yet, work a desk job. Been type 2 for several years and getting prepared for the challenges of the lifestyle.

I’m not a truck driver but I am a insulin dependent Type 1 diabetic. Cut out the high carb foods like sweets and drinks. They cause blood sugar spikes and these spikes are what cause damage to your kidneys, eyes and small blood vessels that carry blood to your extremities. Out of control blood sugar spikes will eventually cause foot/leg circulation problems, vision problems and kidney problems. That’s why so many diabetics are suffering from kidney dialysis and losing their legs. Not trying to be a Debbi downer🤣 I also recommend the Dexcom G6 to keep you honest 🤣
