Sadly not really, very small 3DS Downloadable videos are seemed to be gone, like the trailers for games, and other downloadable videos aswell. But as far as i know almost all Eshop games are backed up, so not too much worries.

Ah the 3DS got it on my 7 birthday and now I’m 14 good times I still think that the 3DS is the best gaming console with games like Kirby triple deluxe/Robobot, Mario 3d land , Luigi’s mansion 2 and many more im not gonna count because there are to much I remember playing on it eyery day and trying to do all my games to 100% Mario bros 2 was a little hard tho xd. Because I heard that the eshop is gonna die I wanted to try all my favorite games again and want to see what good times I had. but that’s probably the ‚death‘ of the 3DS what’s really sad because you played soooo many great games on a console I’m gonna try to get some good games from the eshop so I have more to play xd (and yes that was a text that I wrote I can’t believe it either lol)
as someone who doesnt know anything about consoles, this is a genuine question; considering this eshop situation, is it worthy to buy a 3ds in 2022? i have been wanting to buy a used one just because i really want to buy a bunch of physical games that are only for the 3ds, plus i heard that you can play ds lite games on a 3ds so i was pretty excited about that.
Yes it is totally worth buying a 3DS XL or New 3DS XL this year. You can play Og DS Games all the way up to New 3DS games and everything inbetween. And have until August to buy point cards to load to the digital online store as they have a bunch of GameBoy/GameBoy Color/And other Retro Classic Games through their online eShop that will stop taking code cards to load $10-$50 at a time to your Nintendo ID to digitally purchase and download things like Pokemon Yellow and Pokemon Crystal

Yea it was pretty easy to mod my 3ds. Once I heard the eshop was being shut down I found my 3ds and modded it. Took about an hour.
It's worse when you just bought either or both 3DS and Wii U and there's a lot of games you wanted to buy from the eShop.
You can still use it until 2023 so it's not completely bad

The funny thing is 2 or 3 weeks ago I felt the random need to buy a larger micro SD to download more games on my hacked 3DS and then this happened
i'll still continue to play 3ds games after the shutdown tho XD
