Saying it will be the size of Limgrave is a load of shit. Its gonna be massive.
I think Miyazaki is underselling the dlc as that way the huge size it actually will be won't disapoint the players 😉
@@tanyadavies265 Miyazaki has a track record of underselling. He's said in an interview that Elden Ring would take around 30 hours to 100% which obviously is a load of bullshit. I have 120+ hrs in the game and I'm on NG+ and I JUST unlocked the Deeproot Depths. There's so much content that there is absolutely no way Miyazaki thought it'd be 30 hours. I'm so excited to get my hands on this DLC 🔥🔥🔥

Don't keep your expectations too high.
I have a theory on what that secret we haven't discovered is; "the greater will interpreted by the fingers" is an allegory that literally represents the two fingers you use to pull the attack triggers with in-game as the player. I realized this when the chrome said that she didn't want the player to burn the erd tree, but who was she to impede the movement of the greater will.
i dont make much sense out of the latter halve of your comment, but i do know that there are 4 "attack" buttons so we literally dont just use two fingers.

@@LeviKieffer put index finger on L1 and middle finger on L2...same for the other side. notice how your hand "magically" wraps around the handles and your thumbs land on the sticks/buttons on top. its not an odd way, its the intended way.
There's no such thing as an intended way to use controllers. If you actually were to try gripping the controller without your middle fingers on the bottom triggers and instead assisting your pinky and ring finger hold the controller, you'd know that both styles of holding the controller aren't similar and provide advantages and disadvantages to one another.@mr.hanfblatt9152

Based off how they’ve done past DLCs the area will be able to done at the level you typical are able to beat radahn and mogue. However with a new area typically means harder enemies and bosses so the recommended level will depend on what the player base feels. 10 new bosses for a DLC is unheard of from the studio, and with the base game only having about 20 or so main bosses makes the 10 or more new bosses insane.
On the whole "undiscovered" thing.... 1. If it were a physical item, weapon, character, anything at all that exists within the games files, then data miners would have found it.
2. Miyazaki is known for trolling his audience and having fun the same way we do with each other in the in-game messaging systems.
3. If there is something, then it would have to be a conceptual or symbolic only. Like a connection between something that we haven't picked up on yet...and it exists between things we are already aware of.

I mean, how involved is he in seeing what everyone in the community has discovered or speculated? I've watched half a dozen different channels and have been learning new, different things about the lore of Elden Ring from each of them. I'm sure I barely scratched the surface of all the information that has been discussed.
I've been playing dark souls 3 until the dlc comes out. I've never played it, and I'm definitely having a good time with it.

Bigger than limgrave and weeping peninsula (takes 30-50 hours to do everything, especially on first playthrough), and with more dense level design and 10 main bosses plus the mini bosses is crazy
Prior to Elden Ring's original launch he said that the game would take 30 hours to play on your first playthrough.
We all know how massive of an understatement that is so I don't think it's far-fedged to assume that he is underselling again.

I thought it was the Haligtree, but I think the twisted tree might be the primordial Great Tree. The tree there prior to the Erdtree.
I mean Radahn can be beaten by just running away and summoning npcs if im not mistaken and for mohg get that thingy to mix in the wonderous flask and git gut. Mohg gives free attacks when he counts (tres unus duo or smth like that)
Radahn is literally easier to beat without summons, if you just go between his legs and go ham.

Same here. I'm actively trying to get that collectors edition but keep running into those error codes. At some point I'm just not gonna care anymore and just be grateful to have the dlc code. It's cool either way, I already have the first collectors edition from launch day.
Remember to bring an arcane build into the DLC y'all, that way you can get more cool new weapons to try out when they drop!

Tbh if you've played Elden Ring long enough that you worry you level will make it too easy, then you'll likely already have a couple lower lvl slots.
@EliYagami1111 i'd say level 150 is underleveled for ng+6. im level 250 just finished ng+7, i definitely do a ton of damage but still pretty much get 1 shot by everything
I think your base game level will be irrelevant. I think they will do something story wise that makes you have a different power level while in the new area so your new area lv and your base game lv will not be connected or impact each other
After getting carried by friends for most of the boss fights I can happily say that I contributed and pulled my weight in the Malenia, Maliketh, Mohg, Radagon, Elden Beast, and Dragon Lord boss fights. Blaidd’s great sword is goated and I love strength builds.
Oh it's purchased and ready for a banger!!! Ready to put 1k hours into it again.

Miyazaki mentioned that you'd need to defeat Radahn to access the dlc, maybe there's a dlc item in nokron? i'm not sure..

My tip is to just not buy the dlc on release and wait-lets say, 2 weeks-before buying it, so you can see if it's a giga scam or if it's actually worth it's price.

The DLC wont be more difficult than the base game. Miyazaki explicitely stated that they wanted to replicate the feeling of the base game and do not aim to create a malenia 2.0, but instead a boss which leaves behind just as memorable moments as she did. With that being said, I'm sure they will continue to follow their formula of making mandatory bosses easier and optional bosses harder.
Every DLC they have ever made has had harder more amazing bosses than the base game
Damn, i hope there's an optional boss that's harder tho, fromsoft has that tendency to make DLC bosses hard as fuck (sister friede, midir, artorias...)

As someone who's been playing fromsoft games since 2014 I've learned the stuff fromsoft really excels at is making dlcs for already great games
So by "two meanings to shadow of the Erdtree" I think he meant 1. The literal shadow of the Erdtree and Also, it is a shadow of its former self....
I feel like they wouldn’t be as obvious as that, because he said the literal and obvious meaning is that there is a “shadow” of the erdtree that is dark and is obscured by the light of the erdtree so people can’t see it normally, it doesn’t make sense for the “big secret” to be something so easy to see such as being a shadow of the former self. I mean, even the normal lands between is a shadow of its former self before the war, and it doesn’t fit Miyazaki to make it that simple.
When Miyazaki says more than 10 bosses I take it to mean 10 main bosses with "more than" referring to the field/mini bosses.
Sekiro bosses are so cool,i think its because the combat system..i would love a game of fromsoftware that the main character was as fast and acrobatic in an open world as was that of Sekiro..

To me all of from software games are not complete until the DLC has been added really these downloadable content updates really changed the game in the overall experience it really completes it thinking of Dark Souls 3 without the ringed City as well as Dark Souls without Artorias bloodborne without the orphan of Kos....Messmer and the shadow lands will not be any different this DLC will really blow us away in so many ways that we are not ready for.....

It’s not, Miyazaki confirmed that it’s a physical place that is in the same area as the lands between and once was geographically a part of it, but became physically separate and hidden due to story events.
Can't with for this dlc to release the new fighting styles look interesting plus I enjoyed the game during my first playthru let's see what they have in store for us
I hope they make the normal mobs in the starting area of the dlc like Haligtree/farum difficulty or harder.
First boss should be at least mohg/maliketh difficulty.
Mohg and Radahn are early to mid game bosses, so I think somewhere around there or stronger would be a perfect base level of strength for the dlc bosses

This game is on another Lvl using the Carian Combo Mod on PC. It’s honestly like playing another game with that mod. I’m a bit the DLC but I might not be able to play it due to an update that’ll be released on launch. I will play it as it is but this game has so much potential with that MOD.

It has something to do with the movements of stars. Dealing Radhan means making the starts moving again.
Miquilla is hoping for an eclipse I believe that's why Malenia was sent to defeat Radhan

Never played Sekiro so really not familiar with the attack leveling system. Can someone explain it to me in simple terms.
It's really simple. You deal X damage to a boss, you realised it's not enough, you go to another boss, he gives you a bonus to apply, you now deal X + Y damages and can beat the previous boss

I have two characters for the dlc one whos op around level 250 and one around level 150 ive always did this for dlca
Since the power-scaling in the dlc will be different from the main-game, the level of your character will probably not make much of a difference.
