54 yrs old. Never a huge LOVERBOY fan even tho I've seen them open up now about 6 or 7 times for various bands. Last night in Tinley Park IL...they made me a fan. The setlist was amazing. The vocals, drums and guitar were incredible. He s a humble guy and really great singer. I actually look forward to seeing them again. Great show.
I saw him at Tinley last week too. He's a big boy, and I don't understand how he waived around the mic over his head, and that huge belly. I wasn't that impressed by his vocals, his voice wasn't that good. When you compare the singer of Foreigner to him it's like night and day
I had EVERY intention of moving to Canada just for loverboy and Mike Reno!!! Never been able to see a concert sadly but I'm hoping to catch them in Detroit! I'm unfortunately older and night driving is extremely hard but I'm going to try! Can't stay overnight because i have a service dog who will be home in the west side of Michigan. I hope to see everyone there!
I was playing guitar and singing in a bar band in 1981. The other guys were surprised when I said I wanted to do "Harden My Heart" by Quarterflash, but I said it's a modern blues song and I played the sax solo on guitar, also singing it. Nice.
Met the Loverboy band a few times. They are just so down to earth and friendly. So normal and not egocentric. Thanks for all the years of live shows and memories Mike and band. They were the only band I felt sounded just like what they recorded but even better. They always put their best on stage and such pros. Mike has an epic voice. They didn’t get older just better. Fine wine that’s Loverboy! 🤟🫶
I saw Loverboy around 1979(or so)at Rich Stadium in Buffalo NY and they where with Ted Nugent, Foreigner( they were the headliner )& Iron Maiden . I can tell you that Loverboy blew the Fn roof(it if had a roof) off the place. One of the best concert ever and I've seen many!!! So proud they are Canadian!!
I think you got the year wrong because I seen a similar show it was a day on the green in Oakland California but Iron Maiden opened then the SCORPIONS on their 2nd trip to the US in 79 they had opened for Ted now back to the concert I'm talking about it was Iron maiden,SCORPIONS and Lover Boy the headliner was foreigner people were leaving about 4 songs into foreigners set I was totally surprised at Loverboys set I was there for the SCORPIONS on their 82 release of Blackout the I seen Loverboy open for DOKKEN at Marriotts great America theme park anyway great band btw foreigner was at the end of a long tour for the foreigner 4 album they had no energy and the other 3 bands just kicked ass
@@rayfabris2512 Yes Ray...I believe you are right(sorry didn't really put much effort in to remembering the year..LOL)..I do remember that Foreigner was a big disappointment because that was the band I really wanted to see and they kinda sucked.. Overall, Loverboy and Ted made up for it...Iron Maiden wasn't on their game that day and they were plagued with sound problems. Cheers!
@@rayfabris2512 I remember going to concerts at Great Anerica...wow you brought back alot of memories for me. Actually one of the best shows I ever saw was Triumph at Marriot.....What a cool park back in the day.......
@@patcurrie9888 I saw them in Rockford Illinois at the Metro Center. Where did you see them? I thought the Hooters came with a bit more power the night I saw them.
He sounds like Trump! 😆 Not into lover boy but seen him on fb and thought, “Still jamming in older age” I'm a singer from the 80s and I'd have to sit down on stage to play lol
Katey, Foreigner is my favorite rock group but I will probably pass on seeing them. I saw Loverboy in 98, and the band was not pleased to see a Black fan. Bad experience.

Mike Reno is a good dude - Glad they're still making music
Yup. No doubt about it. Loverboy is among the great bands of the world.

Hi. :)
Is he the one that went missing on a boat so they found him or what we're all look old now
They never found his body,he was declared legally dead.
would be easier to hear without background music
Stay in Canada wanna be A Justin Bieber 😅

Really? That's horrible!!! I saw Ben folds and he didn't like fat girls
Sorry and surprised to hear that since Reno has always been an radical Obama lover and America hater.

It's called old age.It's comin' for you!!😳🤣
@@alana9832 Didn't recognize him.....a complete shock. Tony Bennett was nintey six and looked better than that.
He played 40 years ago. Not everyone ages gracefully. Other than added weight, he's still handsome.
wonder how good you'll look when your 70 yrs old
