- Join Brad Leone in his backyard as he makes pork chops, flat bread and some vegetable slaw on the side. He uses an outdoor flattop propane burner, but you can use a cast iron skillet if you don't have one of those (and let's be real, who does other than Brad?).

Top guy, Brad, for not letting Stiff Steve take the blame for the technical difficulties
Also for the shout out to Ben and Brent at the Meat Hook!

Is this a BROCKHAMPTON reference
A real mensch
I'm glad Brad 6:39 like he talking direct to me 🥰
Brad has an unbelievable combination of the gift of gab and not being able to form a sentence.
Its rather amazing isnt it.
Nice
I haven't seen a better judgement of character on a person ever
He's like a Labrador that gets excited for his next sentence before finishing the one he's on.
He can't form a sentence because he thinks we all know what he means to say😂😂
The "It's Alive Trilogy":
Episode One: "The Vinnie Years"
Episode Two: "The Hunzie Years"
Episode Three: "The Stevie Years"
Oh Vincenzo, we miss you.
Sigh we never even got to see Vin before we moved on to Hunzie 😥
Ivo Trausch vinnie 🥺
To be fair Brad is the one who created Vinnie character. Now he's with BwB nobody ever said his name again
underrated comment
Brad seems like the guy who can say "what could go wrong?" and have everything go perfectly
Ezekiel Zurek either everything goes perfectly or everything does go wrong
This is an underrated comment. 😂😂
Claire's the opposite end of that
Truer words have never been spoken. 😂
He's literally just reading internet recipes
"Dad?"
"Hold on, son, I'm talking about flatbread."
"Dad!"
"Yeah?"
A good dad.
Lol Brad's dad would never talk to him with such warmth.
I love Grif so much!
@@eastonjanecek9802 what does this mean
"A little tossy toss" has become a well known saying in my kitchen.
"tawsy taws"
Brad holding the food JUST out of frame is the most “Brad thing” I’ve seen in these videos
"Happy things are happening right there" Brad is literally Bob Ross if he were a chef
but for the love of god don't ever let a squirel near brad. skinned and pickled in no time...
Amy Kan good call!!!!
I just imagined Bob Ross acting like Brad
"Ee-eh-yeeeuhh an-an-and what we GOT HERE is--oh yeah, look at that, look at those happy little trees right here, YEAH BABY-- nice."
damit, i literally posted the same comment before i saw this Haha
Am I the only one who cried a little bit with happiness when his son says "But this is yours!" That was soooooo Adorable!!!!!!
My heart melted a little bit, it was just too adorable!
Brad straight up eating his garlic onion mixture killed me🤣
Andrea Cakes lol
That's gonna be a gif with some...interesting captions.
I actually made it (garlic+ginger) because I always have ginger hang out and go moldy on me; fermenting it is a magical solution. As someone who loves garlic and ginger... I can understand eating it straight out of the jar!!
@@mandine100 ok now I'm convinces I have to do it too, thank you! I always find my ginger already gone moldy when I want to use it

Brad: Quiet son.
He's projecting his childhood onto his children

If u vacuum seal it or Saran wrap really tight it can basically last forever cuz it won't oxidize
“The forever box” I love it lmao
"for those who don't know I named my tripod Stiff Steve"
Oh brad everyone know stiff Steve
The amount of times I’ve heard ‘quiet, son’ during this quarantine…
I’m wondering if Brad’s neighbours know he’s a youtube sensation. Specially when he’s cooking outside.
Also, his kids are adorable.
Molly: hAtEss pork chops

Brad is such a wonderful person, he motivates me to become more optimistic, generous and kind ☺️

Same! Also absolutely love that jar 2/3rds quote 🤣
imagine biking around and seeing Brad vlogging and not recognize him and laughing at some dude for making lunch for his family--
couldnt be me
Kitty for laughing at him filming himself making lunch for his family
I can just imagine Brad's teachers being so frustrated with him in school,
"We use our WORDS Brad...speak in full sentences, enunciate your words..."😅
little did they know people would love him just for that
"Brad, please, you aren't going to just be able to say 'Nice!' to everything when you're an adult!"
When he takes a test or exam, every time he finishes a question he yells "Nailed it! Who's better than us Vinny."
In the middle of a silent hall: "Woo! Who's better than us vinchenzo?"
Brad trying to say things is honestly my favorite
"If you don't like pork chops...I mean...it is what it is. It's FINE!"

Brad you are the main inspiration for me starting my own fermentation station. Your kombucha episode is what got my BA subscription. I LOVE making my own kombucha, and I had a long road of discovery to find the recipes that I like. My favorite recipe is apple ginger. I blend up the fruit and let it steep in kombucha while the tea steeps. Once its done steeping i strain it into the bottles. This provides maximum flavor with minimal pulp. Early on I found that ginger is the best ingredient in kombucha, although if its by itself it can be very dry. With so many kombucha recipes out there, I would like to see you do another kombucha episode with more recipes to try. on a side note, my next phase is going to be trying to make my own sprouts. I am dreaming of trying sprouted oatmeal and sprouted hummus. maybe the next "It's Alive" episodes could entail sprouts?
I've been making my own kombucha for over two years, and in looking for recipes for it I found Brad's first It's Alive kombucha video. I've been hooked ever since to just about anything that BA does. Granted, as a vegetarian celiac with a sulfur sensitivities, there are a lot of recipe here (this one included) that I can't eat, but I watch them all the same.
Also, my standard flavorings is to up wild blueberries in the second fermentation. Gives it a nice color and flavor and is very easy.
Liking to get this to the top. This is such a sweet comment & I agree that I'd love to see It's Alive tackle sprouted foods.
Did you try tepache? It’s unbelievably good!
Oh my god, I found my Internet doppelgänger. I also started my own fermentation station after finding Its Alive. I’m currently down a sourdough rabbit hole, but have been thinking about trying some sprouts. 🤷♀️ it’s not like I don’t have the time haha. Check out the UA-cam channel Epic Gardening, they have a great sprout tutorial. Best wishes to you and your refrigerator pets.
PS I love ginger lemon for my kombucha. I just make a simple syrup with lemon juice instead of water and steep grated ginger in it, then strain it before bottling. My 2 year old says it’s so tasty!
"Nice" - Brad Leone - some time during quarantine
HammGaming many times during quarentine
I suspect it is at least once per day, if not per hour or even minute, sometimes
Has he been watching Steve1989?
real nice
Your profile pic goes will with this video.
my favorite parts of every video are their interactions w their kids or pets 🥺🥺 bless whoever leaves those parts in
Nobody, including Brad's son:
Brad: Quiet son
I love that even the "regular" cooking videos that feature brad are so wonderfully chaotic and edited like a mini It's Alive.
"A little bit of garlic, 'cause that's my jam." The greatest understatement of all time
I appreciate Brad making simple meals like this too. I may not make an artesian flat bread but frozen pizza dough... You have my attention.
“Fermented Mystery Pickle” would be a great band name.
😂
12:42 speaking of Brad's jam. I'd love to see Brad make some savory jams. Onion, pepper jams. Sounds delicious.
why am i watching this man make PORK chops during ramadan 😭😭 that just shows how dedicated i am to BA

Mine too, probably helps me relate because I'm more like him than anyone else in the ba kitchen.
"IF YOU DON'T LIKE PORKCHOPS...i mean it is what it is to each their's own...............IT'S FINE"

I love how his videos aren't actually cooking recipes. Instead its brad with a rough draft and completely going off the rails. We all know its not actually about the recipe when we watch these.
Digital Bear *I’ve never genuinely watched a BA video for the recipes (although I do watch a ton of cooking on UA-cam), but I’m always delighted when I get a new recipe I think I’ll actually try randomly. Like their chicken parm*

Someone needs to animate a golden retriever doing this very thing and I would be so happy. Have Brad's voice over. Oh my gosh it would be absolute gold. En Retriever.

This is just letting the Golden Retriever outside for a bit lol

The neighbor letting him move his cooking apparatus to their wall probably loves the smell of fermented things.
Chris & Brad - Two sides of the same coin telling their kids to be quiet on set lol.

"We lost 1/2 the video 5 times." That means 2.5 Brad videos lost forever. :-(
Also- how many porkchops did he end up cooking?
It wouldn't be a Brad video is it didn't start with him saying, "Oh Gawd!"
The zoom-ins to his face and hand motions are sending me. Also, Brad is the CEO of fermented food.
Watching while reading comments is actually more enjoyable.. have to rewatch this video later then!
Fermented ingredients will always be on brad's recipe, and that's a fact
Brad's always got what looks like a refreshing jar of iced tea. We need a tea time with brad video
2:04 is the best moment of this video because of Brad's giggle.
He had to say the same thing so many times hes actually sounds concise
