Andre is by far the best to watch. He is so knowledgeable and unbiased that he can really speak to the average consumer of wine without coming off as pretentious. More Andre!
Do I drink wine? No. Do I watch every second of Andre’s videos? Absolutely. He is an amazing teacher! I wish I could still drink wine but I can’t so I live vicariously through these videos!!
Here in France we are used to buy wine at reasonable prices, I'd say in red wine you get a nice bottle between 8-15eur, white wine is cheaper. For a normal working person, 30eur for a bottle of wine is a lot. That being said, the big premier and grand crus cost a lot and often are on another level.
Yes! Exactly what I was looking for. Great to have Andre's knowledge to educate us about wine! Glad to hear there are some Costco-branded winners for a reasonable price.
I just really enjoy seeing someone at the peak of their craft still have the ability to acknowledge the positives in these budget options. What a cool guy!
More of Andre Hueston Mack, please. I always love his sessions. I had a bottle of the Costco Gigondas in my hands this evening and this is making me regret not putting it in the basket.
I've always steered clear of Kirkland's wines, mostly because I just didn't know what to expect at the cheap prices. This is a great video and I'll be trying a few!
"Don't Yuck someone else's Yum"... Our world needs to hear this. Also, for the rest of the public school kids like me- Cassis is the French word for blackcurrant, a yummy berry used in jams, desserts and pies.
I tell my friends about André Hueston Mack all the time - I love that his content is so interesting and accessible, regardless of how much you know about wine. I also appreciate that he's not just some bougie jerk about wine too - a sommelier of the people!
Hopefully Costco is sponsoring these episodes, cuz I intentionally made trips the past couple weeks just to pick up some of the bottles recommended on this channel! Love the Andre content!
I really like this guy. As someone who doesn’t really like wine I get annoyed with snooty wine people…. but this dude was genuine and seems actually nice and humble. Id have a glass with him even tho Id prefer beer lol. Great commentary.
He gets to the point, explains the terminology you've heard a thousand times and manages to makes simple sense of it all. Yes, Ding, Ding, Ding....he IS the tour guide we've needed all along. Thanks Andre, I'll have another.
We legitimately have our wine fridge half filled with Costco wines and the ones we’ve settled on are brilliant. Are there better examples? CERTAINLY, but this demonstrates just how incredible the value Costco represents.
Andre, Don Juan of wine!!😂. Always appreciate his down to earth evaluation of wine. Love how he try to guide, not persuade. Also love his emoji or descriptive “rating”. So fun to watch!
Just spent a week wine tasting in Napa. I'm ruined for life. However, I can't always drink $100 wines so this video is great! These wines are everyday drinkers. Thanks Andre!
I really enjoy watching Andre experience wines... it's amazing watching how fast he detects and expresses what's happening. It brings a smile, makes me joyful... whole worlds he discovers with each bottle/wine. It's really phenomenal.
Sommelier Mack is awesome! I love how straight-up and honest he is, and never comes across snobby. Apologies if this is elsewhere in the comments section (and you may have already planned for this) but you should do a review of Sams wines next! 😃🍷
What you have in this gentleman is a professional who can impart his knowledge onto novices and laypeople without making them feel ignorant. He makes learning a joy, and his passion for his job is infectious.
I always enjoy these reviews with André. He's knowledgeable but with no pretense whatsoever. AND I just learned Costco occasionally sells Gigondas, one of my favorite wines in all the world.
I've had quite a few of these. The Kirkland Pinot Grigio and Sauv Blanc give me the worst wine headaches I've ever had. The others don't, but those two sure do.
Having been in the liquor and wine trade on the consumer end for decades. Being a distributing consumer myself. I agree 100% with your comments in your Kirkland / Costco videos. It is very rare for me to agree 100% with someone. Kudos!
I'm not much of a drinker - usually have a beer every now and then with a meal - and definitely not a wine or liquor drinker but I really ENJOY watching your shows. I hope you get a separate show as well. I first saw your show on Roku Bon Appétit channel around 2020 - love watching it, even if its a repeat. I feel one of these days, I may be able to help someone pick out a wine, tequila or whiskey. I'll make sure to give credit to André :) Great Job!
So far he is the most reliable and knowledgeable person I know in UA-cam that I follow is amazing the way he explains everything. I’m in love with all his videos. I can wait to watch the next episode. Thank you for sharing your skills.
Lol the Pinot Grigio, Malbec and the Sauvignon Blanc are my go-to wines at costco. Glad to see my tastes and appreciation of them validated. Ill have to try the Chablis and the Gigondas as well
That was super educational and interesting! I loved his approach and the way he delivered all this precious info. I'll be sounding a lot more educated next time I'm drinking my wine
Andre is the most relatable personality on BA. The algorithm has attempted to feed me his videos numerous times and I had resisted until now. I should have clicked earlier.
Andre, very informative and telling it straight is what I like. Thanks for your review of some budget wines that seem acceptable probably to most that drink wine. ✌
Not gonna lie. When he said V05 hairspray, that's exactly what it tastes like. It's that taste that alcohol gives you after you swallow. My mom used V05 hairspray and she used a ton.
You say you want to try the wine, even if you don't like it. You, my friend, are exactly my kind of person! When I heard about how bad Malort is, I knew immediately that I had to try it, to know for myself! All of these things are made and sold because someone wants them! Maybe it's just a bottle of Drunk that is being sold, but you maybe won't know for sure until you've sampled it! I love that spirit!
I picked the Malbec up just before you posted this. It's a great, easy drinking wine that has a nice balance of sweetness and tartness. I'll definitely go back for more.
Andre the information you share is truly fascinating and informative. I love how you approach the delivery of your evaluations very fair and straightforward. I have been drinking wine for many years but I learn something knew every time I listen to you! Thanks for sharing your knowledge 😊
Andre is by far the best to watch. He is so knowledgeable and unbiased that he can really speak to the average consumer of wine without coming off as pretentious. More Andre!
hear hear!
agreed.

Do I drink wine? No. Do I watch every second of Andre’s videos? Absolutely. He is an amazing teacher! I wish I could still drink wine but I can’t so I live vicariously through these videos!!
Exactly! I've never even had wine and have no desire to drink wine or alcohol in general but I love these videos.
Why cant you still drink wine one glass every other week???
Wine has never done it for me but André is awesome.
Agree 100% - it was like taking a class - and Andre speaks so eloquently. I learned so much! lol
I feel the same way. I do drink wine though😅
I could watch Andre every day. He is so knowledgeable, amusing and pleasant, a characteristic uncommon today. Thanks, Bud.
His book is a phenomenal read I keep going back to
Black hipster wine guy is much better than any other popular sommelier I've seen on UA-cam.
Me too and I don’t drink alcohol 😂
Probably one of my favorite series on this channel!
😊
Same 😊
Me, too! I love Andre and I’m glad he’s the tour guide to my wine life!!!
It's actually the only reason I watch this channel
This the only series I watch on this channel
The way Andre combines fascinating detail, teaching and zero condescension is so unique
"A reason to shout for joy" ok I am taking notes here for my next Costco run
Same!!!
Me also!
I txtd myself to take with me at my next Costco run😊
He’s so charismatic and passionate about wine. I love that you can feel his excitement to share everything with us.

yup, agree
I don’t shop at Costco, and I don’t drink wine, but I always watch anything with this guy lol. He’s so cool.
That Gigondas is a highlight of the year every year
Do you know what month Costco sell the Gigondas?
You have to try the Barolo and Châteauneuf-du-Pape both around $20
@@haubui7854 December, around the holidays
I'm looking forward to trying over the holidays!!!
@@nufantbsnofxBarolo was hot garbage! Gigondas is incredible
Andre Mack is someone I totally enjoy watching. And this episode raised my eyebrows. Makes me want to go to Costco.
He is the ONLY one I watch on this channel. His takes are perfect and down to earth. He speaks for the people. 🙂

Love this guy. I could watch Andre sample the fountain drinks at Burger King.
😂👍🏾👍🏾
😂😂😂😂
😂😂😂😭
I've become addicted to Andre Heuston Mack videos
Easy to do. He's one easy watching mofo.
Me too😅
"Life is just a continuation of high school." Such a great quote.
The world needs a blind tasting versus episode with these wines vs. name brand wines at 5x the price point.
I've got that bottle of Kirkland Gigondas on my shelf and this video has definitely convinced me to finally try it!
How was it?
I tell my friends about André Hueston Mack all the time - I love that his content is so interesting and accessible, regardless of how much you know about wine. I also appreciate that he's not just some bougie jerk about wine too - a sommelier of the people!

Such a humble line: “I know wine a little better than most”
We’ve been waiting on someone to break it down for us regulars THANK YOU ANDRE!!!
Andre needs to do more wine reviews. I love the videos he’s in, by far my favorite series.
André Hueston Mack, I appreciate you. So humble and knowledgeable. I learn so much.
I don't even drink and I always find Andre entertaining and thoroughly enjoy this series.
I don’t drink alcohol at all but this dude is insightful and entertaining. W Andre 💯
He gets to the point, explains the terminology you've heard a thousand times and manages to makes simple sense of it all. Yes, Ding, Ding, Ding....he IS the tour guide we've needed all along. Thanks Andre, I'll have another.

Not pretentious. Not judgy. Just interested in sharing his knowledge. Just great.
I appreciate Andre being so honest in reviewing these wines!!
Just spent a week wine tasting in Napa. I'm ruined for life. However, I can't always drink $100 wines so this video is great! These wines are everyday drinkers. Thanks Andre!
Hope you tried the Silver Oak Cab. Unbelievable wine!
The best and most informative and entertaining series. Andre is the best. Knowledgeable, never pretentious and always lovable.
New Andre Mack video dropped, WHOOP WHOOP
I really enjoy watching Andre experience wines... it's amazing watching how fast he detects and expresses what's happening. It brings a smile, makes me joyful... whole worlds he discovers with each bottle/wine. It's really phenomenal.
One of my best wine experiences was a E. Guigal Gigondas 2016.
Extrodinary wine.
I love how real you reviews are! It drives my steps many times to try to wines or think differently when drinking wines
Sommelier Mack is awesome! I love how straight-up and honest he is, and never comes across snobby. Apologies if this is elsewhere in the comments section (and you may have already planned for this) but you should do a review of Sams wines next! 😃🍷

I wanna see him do Trader Joe’s 👀
I always enjoy these reviews with André. He's knowledgeable but with no pretense whatsoever. AND I just learned Costco occasionally sells Gigondas, one of my favorite wines in all the world.
V05 is such a specific smell, I felt like I could smell it too as soon as he said it.
YES!!!
Yes, that was a true throw back for me!
I've had quite a few of these. The Kirkland Pinot Grigio and Sauv Blanc give me the worst wine headaches I've ever had. The others don't, but those two sure do.
Thx for the info.
Keep these coming, Andre!
Can he get his own show yet?
I regularly drink the malbec and bordeaux. For the price its hard to beat
I love Andre's commentary and descriptions. The honesty rocks. Thanks for these reviews. Gigondas FTW!
Thanks for putting the words he's saying in large letters on the screen in sync. Now I know what words to say around my friends when I drink wine!
Even the non-Kirkland brand wines are usually the lowest price you can find for those wines compared to somewhere like ABC or Total Wines.
Costco deals can cut the devil himself.
Andre is so dope. You watch him do his thing and you automatically wanna be friends.
This guy needs to try every Trader Joe’s wine
You make wine so interesting. I've been a wine drinker for over50 years and I like your take on it.
“Cat pee”
“It’s pleasant”
😂😂😂
In Riseling, a common aroma is kerosene (flammable liquid), so yeah, wines have some out there scents.
@@kibaanazuka332 or in French wine Jurancon this kerosene note only increases throughout the time
Andre not beating the allegations

1:51 I love your giggles. As you were opening the bottle, you giggled.🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗
Thanks for this series. I know what wines type to try next now. His "notes" on a couple of those made me thirsty. Lol
Thank you, Andre, for helping us understand wine better.

Andre Mack is "The Adjective King" when describing wine😊❤🔥💯
I’m taking notes !! Thank you for review.
Lol the Pinot Grigio, Malbec and the Sauvignon Blanc are my go-to wines at costco. Glad to see my tastes and appreciation of them validated.
Ill have to try the Chablis and the Gigondas as well
Gosh, you guys can't make too many Andre videos! Keep em coming, I love seeing him show up in my feed.
That was super educational and interesting! I loved his approach and the way he delivered all this precious info. I'll be sounding a lot more educated next time I'm drinking my wine
TIL my house smells like sauvignon blanc.
🤣🤣🤣
Costco makes their money on membership fess. They don't need profits on items
Andre is the most relatable personality on BA. The algorithm has attempted to feed me his videos numerous times and I had resisted until now. I should have clicked earlier.
This guys needs to come out with his own wine master class
Andre is a real one. Loves Wine, and loves that other people love wine. No snobbery about it.
So.. buy the Bordeaux Superior, Chablis Premier Cru
And Gigondas!
Andre, very informative and telling it straight is what I like. Thanks for your review of some budget wines that seem acceptable probably to most that drink wine. ✌
As others have said in the comments, love this dude. I don't even really drink wine, but any videos with André are always great.
Oooooh this one is about to be a classic! Emoji ratings and respectful roasting the bad wines 😂🎉
I would love a video on cooking with wine. Which wine goes best with which food flavors.
Not gonna lie. When he said V05 hairspray, that's exactly what it tastes like. It's that taste that alcohol gives you after you swallow. My mom used V05 hairspray and she used a ton.
Tar, crushed rock and graphite apparently are desirable scents in wine can u believe it?
Red wine tastes bitter, sour, and waxy,……Not enjoyable….. whisky tastes better…

Would love to see you do this for the wines at Aldi and trader joes
Deeply appreciate the education and the honest review! Very helpful.
I wanna be friends and drink wine with this guy
What a welcome surprise. I love Andre.
Wow we are so honored to have 2 Andre videos so close together!
The episode we all knew we needed. I will pour a glass of Kirkland Rioja and watch tonight
I love Costco and Andre. Total win for me
i love that you are a guide not a judge keep it simple. 😂❤Thx for your honesty and educated info 🤙
I also love the match that Jeff Hardy had after this for the European Title against Regal.
Andre makes my UA-cam feed better.
I’d love to drink wines with him. He’s my go to guide for trying new wines
I could listen to Andre all day lmao super compelling
I've been sober for nearly a year and a half, but I have still taken a liking to these videos.
