Here in France we are used to buy wine at reasonable prices, I'd say in red wine you get a nice bottle between 8-15eur, white wine is cheaper. For a normal working person, 30eur for a bottle of wine is a lot. That being said, the big premier and grand crus cost a lot and often are on another level.

What you have in this gentleman is a professional who can impart his knowledge onto novices and laypeople without making them feel ignorant. He makes learning a joy, and his passion for his job is infectious.
I really enjoy watching Andre experience wines... it's amazing watching how fast he detects and expresses what's happening. It brings a smile, makes me joyful... whole worlds he discovers with each bottle/wine. It's really phenomenal.

I'm not much of a drinker - usually have a beer every now and then with a meal - and definitely not a wine or liquor drinker but I really ENJOY watching your shows. I hope you get a separate show as well. I first saw your show on Roku Bon Appétit channel around 2020 - love watching it, even if its a repeat. I feel one of these days, I may be able to help someone pick out a wine, tequila or whiskey. I'll make sure to give credit to André :) Great Job!

Just discovered this channel… popped up randomly after a visit to Costco where I bought a case non-Kirkland Bordeaux Superior at $7.80…. Love the Kirkland Gigondas!!! Need to circle back and tag some of those!

You say you want to try the wine, even if you don't like it. You, my friend, are exactly my kind of person! When I heard about how bad Malort is, I knew immediately that I had to try it, to know for myself! All of these things are made and sold because someone wants them! Maybe it's just a bottle of Drunk that is being sold, but you maybe won't know for sure until you've sampled it! I love that spirit!
Lol the Pinot Grigio, Malbec and the Sauvignon Blanc are my go-to wines at costco. Glad to see my tastes and appreciation of them validated. Ill have to try the Chablis and the Gigondas as well
Just spent a week wine tasting in Napa. I'm ruined for life. However, I can't always drink $100 wines so this video is great! These wines are everyday drinkers.Thanks Andre!

I picked the Malbec up just before you posted this. It's a great, easy drinking wine that has a nice balance of sweetness and tartness. I'll definitely go back for more.
I've had quite a few of these. The Kirkland Pinot Grigio and Sauv Blanc give me the worst wine headaches I've ever had. The others don't, but those two sure do.
This is the one I've been waiting for! We have a few bottles of the malbec in our pantry at all times. A few of these I haven't been fond of, and several others I will plan to try soon 👍🏼 thanks for another stellar review

In Riseling, a common aroma is kerosene (flammable liquid), so yeah, wines have some out there scents.

Even the non-Kirkland brand wines are usually the lowest price you can find for those wines compared to somewhere like ABC or Total Wines.
