Hi Jerry, I’m facing some problem with the Carlinkit 5.0 (2 air) After a week of working properly including self-starting upon engine starting. Now it took the adapter to reconnected over and over again and finally getting a dark screen. I'm using my iPhone 15 Pro Can you provide any ideas of solving this issue? Thanks DC
Hi Jerry. Can you please tell me how to delete saved locations from the Andoid auto Goggle maps ? It takes up a heap of valuable screen space. Thanks Mal

Jerry, I do hear my MG radio playing but I do not see it in the split screen. In stead, it shows me audio stuff like podcasts. How do I get the radio displayed in the split creen?
I've just bought a 2023 model ZS and it connects to my Android phone for my music but doesn't let me activate maps on the cars screen or use the phone connect buttons on Steering wheel etc..???😡.waste of 25k buying the car
It is stated on the vehicle specification that it only has Bluetooth plus CarPlay. Something buyers should have checked. Just use an adapter and you can get Android Maps
@JerryPanandCars Thanks for the reply, The dealership said nothing about carplay unfortunately or connectivity to Apple phone ...Is there a specific adapter needed to open all access to the carplay ?
Android auto is no good, it will not stay dark and is way too bright if left on light. It always defaults to light even though all the settings are dark mode.

Is there a way for Google maps to know the cars battery charge? It would be great if it routes you to a charger when needed.
Not possible (at least at this stage). Google map is more of a third party program and it doesn't have the ability to see the vehicle statues.

It is in the vehicle home screen but not in the Android Auto screen. The Android screen can only show apps from your phone

Some cars have wireless A Auto and some cars don’t. It comes down to cost, compatibility and so on.

You can consider this adapter I reviewed but do your due diligence

This might be related to the phone settings. I haven't had this problem.
