This project sure like like it has become a lesson in taking your time to think things through. You are doing great, Tom.

Thanks Scott. I do,ad,it that the cost of this lumber in 2022 had a psychological effect on me. I measured 5 times before every cut!

Thanks Matt, yes the plane is good for a few things that are hard to do with other tools. I decided to get this after making all the thin strips for my "Let It Be" album art cover.

Tom… I’ve had to patch and fill so many holes… and a good deal of them were mistakes!
I use my wooden clamps for a ton of purposes. I think it’s about 50/50 between clamping stuff together and holding work. They are about as handy as any tools that I have.
You did a nice job with that corner mortise. The last one that I put in was sawn, drilled then chiseled. Otherwise, I did it the same way.
O’ and about those extra holes… I even tape the unused hole on my Kreg jig. Don’t ask me why I started doing that!!
Keep’em coming, I’m loving to see you work!!!

Thanks Dave. Yes, I find more and more uses for the hand screw clamps. So glad I bought these.

You're welcome, Hal! The end is in sight, the poly is curing as we speak and I'll have the final video out for the long weekend break.

    Really looks nice.
By the way - the Bridge City plane looks mighty handy. I’ll have to look into it.

Thanks John, the end is in sight. Be tough to sneak some shop time in lately, but I'm editing up the final video and allowing the final coat of poly to cure as we speak.
@MyGrowthRings - Scott has one of the little plane too. Not useful for very many jobs, but does some jobs very well that are very difficult with other tools.

Great video! I thought that you had forgotten to turn on your Shopsmith before you went to cut the dado, as it was so quiet. Thanks for the update.

Thanks Mike, yes whenever I run power tools I drop the audio 20 decibels in editing so people using headphones don't get a shock in the eardrum!

Great video Tom! Now if we could only get you to speak American measurements… Metric is a fad.

Thanks Albert. I think if I weren't so lazy I would take a run at imperial measurements!
