0:40 The fact I just noticed the Perthro rune. It honestly fits Alex as much as it fits Hearth. Perthro is the empty cup, the one that wants to be filled. But it also means family. The rune appeared above the Floor 19 hallmates. They’re Alex’s family now! The DETAILS! I love it! 😍

The most satisfying thing about this animatic is how it shows Alex’s emotional responses to Magnus and how well you delivered it! Her fondness growing for him is portrayed so amazingly here!!

Ok I just finished the ship of the dead and had to come rewatch this and it hits so much harder omg. You’re my favorite artist in the 9 worlds, I’ve been looking at your work on other platforms and it’s amazing!! This animatic is amazing, the way you draw them conveys so much emotion I swear to the gods if I watch this again I’m going to explode. Since I watched this before finishing the book, it was all I could imagine while reading the flyting scene. I cannot truly convey how happy this makes me.

I've read a lot or Rick Riordan's work when I was younger, and personally the Magnus Chase trilogy is my favorite. Years later and Fierrochase still lives in my heart haha. It's certainly written for a younger audience, but it's really fun. Totally recommend it
dude, magnus chase is like THE BEST series in that franchise, its a shame most people don't look into it, but magnus chase handles different social groups carefully as well as brings in great situations to demonstrate the characters in so many dimensions
i would absolutely sell my body to make uncle rick continue this series

the first time i read this series i had a severe book hangover, imo mgca is the best, most diverse, and most unique riordanverse story. alex and magnus have amazing chemistry, magnus is a very different riordanverse mc who instead of being a fighter is a healer who cannot fight and has a magical sword do everything, he’s such a dork i love him. the ending of mcga warms my heart however it feels like a *severe* cliffhanger compared to other riordanverse books. you should totally read it, absolutely amazing series.

AHHHH OH MY GOD, THIS- THIS IS AMAZING. I can’t even describe to you how long I’ve wanted to see something like this. This probably took so much time and effort, and I applaud you incredibly hard for that. Magnus Chase and the Gods of Asgard is such an underrated series in my opinion, and we have to love our fierrochase and blitzstone. I have to admit, the ending battle was a bit- underwhelming to say the least, but overall the books were awesome. This portrayed everything so so well, Magnus falling in love with Alex right away and Alex growing more fond of him as time passed, Magnus’s love for his friends, etc. Honestly, just, thank you for this.

your art shines through every frame.. your composition and eye for detail is just astounding, the flow of the scenes are as smooth as water, the timing to the music and atmosphere is an invocation of the sweetest narrative cohesion 💝. everything is perfect... i was in complete awe the whole way through. this is not even touching on the fierrochase aspect- ITS PERFECT. i read magnus chase because of your beautiful art and your art here captures everything to love about the series. you were able to fit pages worth of story into the length of song, with the most gorgeous, fitful emotional impact every time- the evolution of their relationship is so lovely. when they are able to love and confound all of their trust and selves with one another, it is like rapture. i love them so much.

(this purchase is also like. my first-ish introduction to the series?)) and finished it today!!! then I immediately ran back to watch this again to see if id feel the pang of emotion in my chest. The answer is: yes, I do feel the pang emotion in my chest because of this video, and I feel it strongly
i always say i reccomend magnus chase to rick riordan people, because i remember the good representation. but also because i always see your great fanart of it. but to be honest, i kind of forgot the whole series, i first read the series in like, 6th or 7th grade. i'm about to go to college now.

4:16 don’t know if this is a mistake or we can’t see their hand, but is this child disabled? The chase space is ment to be a place for homeless kids and if this kid is disabled and on the streets, that’s just pure wrong. No kid should be shamed for a difference and put on the streets. So glad that you included a detail like that if I’m right about it. Such a small detail can make such an impact.❤ I wish no kid has to live on the streets.
