Keep down your hand on either the lock or open button and it will stop lock and open
my car key has a button to open the trunk. if i were to get this will there be a way to open the trunk with the key? i think i only saw lock/unlock and start engine button on it
Yeah there is but I don't have it hooked up. There is a trigger wire for it but to activate the trunk release you have to hold the unlock button for 5 seconds
did you try if it stops when someone drive your car without having the key ?
All these alarms won't work unless the fob is in close proximity. It will just shut off
But they last only 8 months, easy guard, banvie the same. I don't know why, but I do change only the box every 8 months with the same, I don't want to install allover again anew brand or model.
Can you start the car if the key fog is not in range?
No you can not it triggers the alarm if it is trying to be started without the key
I bought one of these. What is the Brown wire do. I am u clear if it just cuts power during cranking then back on when running, or if its only powered when in accessory mode and shuts off when starting and running. And why the switch instead of brake pedal?
I used a switch for the brake pedal cause foe some strange reason I kept getting abs codes on my dash everytime it started til I disconnected it, and also for some reason chevys from 2006-2014 the brake switch doesn't work until the car is running. The brown wire is for park lights in the one I have. I didn't want to hook them up at the time because it really wasn't necessary for my application
Unless your talking about the brown wire in the 6 pin harness that's for ignition 2 which my car doesn't have one just only 1 ignition

I just got that for my dodge magnum. Was it easy to install?? What makes me nervous is the fact I got to cut my key. Do you have any advice??
It was just a bit challenging for me but it was easy for me for the most part it a lot more simple then an actual brand name alarm/remote start system. The brand name ones have more plug that you have to wire up for it whereas this one only has one harness to wire in. I'd say check out this link it a wiring diagram for a dodge magnum.

Also I'd say get an extra key and the unit itself comes with pretty detailed instructions that help me through the install. And I will be recording a full start to finish video of installing this same system on a different car

dope review, im getting a jdi push start thats plug and play for my 06 accord. would i be able to get this kit and only use the remote start feature?
I don't think so I've tried it on several cars and for some reason the remote start would only work half the time. But it fully installed it works like a charm
How do you bypass the steering wheel lock?
I took out the key cylinder and that prevents the wheel from locking

You have to hold the lock button for 5 seconds and it disables it. But it does disable the autolock feature that locks the doors if you accidentally press the unlock button

Very simple broo , first turn the engine on and keep your foot on brake padel while u pressing the brake press the unlock and lock button at the key ( same time ) for 3 Seconds 🎉🎉🎉Now you can only use key fobs for unlock and lock......enjoy

Why is the key fob blinking red? Low battery?
It blinks red when you are close to that car to let you know you're in range to start it basically good question I forgot about that in this video

Thats cool,,, how to troubleshoot your remote starter,why is it if i remote start my vehicle the car will start but the starter keeps on starting even thow the car has already started?
Do you have the tachometer wire connected correctly that's something that'll stop that

@@dltbaudio2883 I really want to install this into my older vehicle that I use for amazon flex deliveries. It would be so convenient to not have to fish the keys out of my pocket to lock/unlock/start the car every time I get in and out. which is like 40-50 times per shift. But the thing that scares me is that it's just some chinese product with no american support or representation at all.... have you had any reliability issues? any problems with it not functioning correctly or having a mind of it's own? I'd be worried about whether or not I can really trust it to always lock my doors when it tries to, or malfunctioning in other ways
@@dltbaudio2883 if you leave the car running and walk away with the fob in your pocket, do the doors still lock? And what if you leave the door open when you walk away with the fob, and someone jumps in to steal the car. Will the engine keep running without the fob until they shut it off?
@dummkompf so when you get out though can lock the doors but if someone does jump in and drive off unfortunately it does still run but when the vehicle is shut off it won't restart cause the fob isn't near it. When it comes to reliability as long is professionally installed without issues it won't malfunction. Use proper wire gauges for power ground, starter etc. Now if the car is remote started and someone jumps in the car will shut down since the key fob isn't near. Also before fully committing to installing it make sure you check wire diagrams just incase you need extra modules to bypass certain electronics in the vehicle.
