I think Kevin is as whacked as Ruby. His desire to press charges against his eldest daughter for “robbery” 🙄 when he hasn’t been living in that house for over a year is just another example of his unstable thinking.
He abandoned his children. His actions speak loud enough and the video of him asking about robbery is him telling who he is.
Indeed. Actually, unreal: HE left his defenseless underage children to two monsters for 14 months without taking ANY legal action. Then the older daughter takes care of these children - and his FIRST thought is to set the cops on her. Absolute lowlife.
By the way: Read his old reviews as a professor. Telling.
Only thing this guy did right was speaking through an attorney. Downside or upside for some he’s also undoing all the work the attorney did. I think the only issue with the custody being seal is people are worried he’ll get custody. Beyond that those kids deserve privacy.
Bad counselors can absolutely cause immeasurable harm. That’s true. But this joker’s first concern is his ex-front door, his electronics, & putting his own kid in jail. So… clearly Kevin just sucks bc of Kevin.
Probably there evidence on those laptops that involves him in the abuse and he's trying to get rid of it before he's accused too.
This is the same dude who said on camera, "it's not my job to make my children happy""it's not my job to make my children feel loved" "it's my job to make sure my children have fun". He needs to be locked up too. Trying to get his daughter arrested for burglary says all I need to know especially when she's not a drug addict or criminal. Sick people man

The moment i heard that Kevin Franke was angry and wanted his oldest daughter charged with freaking robbery……, i lost all potential sympathy for him. Prior to that i knew he was spineless but i was open to the concept of him being severely alienated and victimized as well by the Jodi/Ruby cult. This video and report show exactly how complicit he is and how he is so clearly on Ruby’s side. Keep those kids AWAY from him. He will only try to sway their testimony to help Ruby. He is a piece of crap.

I found it very interesting what he wanted to charge her with “stealing”. I wonder how much evidence of his involvement would be found in those electronics and journals.
The figure he cuts leaning on the back gate of his Prius, unshaven, kind of skinny, unappealing, kind of cuckolded. He needs a win and he needs it badly!
It's also funny, how Kevin's lawyer repeatedly said "Kevin was never accused of "physical abuse". Yeah, because he was accused of other types of abuse a lot. After that "robbery charge" info started going around, he excused himself from interviews and disappeared. He tried so hard to paint Kevin in the best light possible and that man's true character just keeps ruining it.

His lawyer infuriated me. I understand it's his job, but him trying to make Kevin appear like a saint made me sick.
She has two of the four minor children and I think what he's trying to do is get her arrested on these charges. So that way she loses the children and he thinks he will get them, when in fact she was simply trying to go get those two children's belongings, those two children's journals. In electronics, he is just as despicable and disgusting as his wife.

I think she was talking to her lawyer and was gathering evidence of abuse. It wasn’t theft because you can’t steal abandoned items and he claims he abandoned the family a year ago.

Sheri broke ties with both her parents. She has reached out to her aunts and grandparents, but made no effort to reach out to her father. On father's day she praised her uncles and grandfather on TikTok not mentioned her father. He was involved/ knew about what happened during the 8 passengers time, where people were raising red flags. He justified not giving the two youngest gifts and forcing them to watch their older siblings open Christmas gifts. He was around when Ruby withheld food as punishment. He was around when the oldest son was deprived of a bed (the state things beds are a basic right, it is one of the thing they check for if you want to foster) HE IS NOT INNOCENT!!
Sheri has the two older kids and Child services escorted her into the house to get the kid's clothes.
I seen that Christmas episode when that family blew up on YT. That was awful & heartbreaking! Talk about favoritism! I knew there was abuse right then and there. Those kids were afraid of their parents. 😢
Kevin wasn’t just “around” when those abusive things were happening.. He was complicit right along with Ruby because he did nothing to stop any of it and was part of the videos when it was discussed. To me, that makes him just as guilty as her.
I believe she has the two youngest children, not the oldest children, because the boy, RF, couldn’t be placed with any other children because of that alligation that Ruby made in JDR court about him SA’ng others. I don’t believe that, but for everyone’s safety, including RF’s, that was the court order.

If there facts and evidence then it will happen, but it hasn’t happened and if you have facts and evidence that Kevin needs to be held accountable best you give it to the appropriate authorities
Kevin trying to get his daughter charged was a bad look, and the footage was worse. So cold, such an outraged "Kevin". He is more concerned about his door and electronics than his children. Hope she and the police have downloaded a copy of EVERYTHING on them, because there's more to this than we have heard so far.

Shari went into the home with DCF to get stuff for the kids like clothes and property that they need.. DCF called the police and asked them to be there to Keep the Peace because they believed that Kevin might be there and might be uncooperative and not let them in..
I think Kevin is still more interested in protecting himself and Ruby than caring for the well being of all his children. If it was truly just what is best for his kids his lawyer wouldn't be doing a pr blitz.

She went on social media the day after asking for any videos people have downloaded off the channel. From my understanding she got a lot sent to her so she could go through and turn it in

Absolutely. You know that’s the real reason Kevin is freaking out and made such an ass of himself. There has got to be stuff on those devices he believes could at least be questionable if not a total smoking gun of how abusive they have been. I mean, the stuff they posted was terrible; imagine the unedited footage they DIDN’T post. If that’s what’s even on those devices.
God I hope she got stuff. And I really hope she double checks that she got it ‘legally’ - so it doesn’t end up getting thrown out as ‘fruit of the poison tree’ shit. You know that’s what Kevin will whine about if she did manage to get something.
I hope Kevin Franke does not get custody of the children. He essentially abandoned them for over a year. Before then, he was complicit in the abuse of the children. To give the children to Kevin is essentially giving an abuse victim to their abuser.
Since Kevin has very tenuous standing here, he's going to definitley use the alleged burglary (of a residence that he abandoned for over a year) as an arguement to get the children and deprive the daughter of access.
Given that DCFS gave the daughter permission to go to the house to retrieve belongings for the two kids that are currently with her makes it very unlikely Kevin has any leg to stand on. DCFS took custody of all of the kids, so they’re the ones that are calling the shots about certain things like getting belongings where Kevin left his kids in that house over a year ago. What a whack job!!!
i think he is going to be on the defensive for ruby and therefore dangerous to his kids...to the point that they do end up in body bags!
This entire family needs to be investigated! He and his wife and her family have all acted in ways towards their children that I consider to be abusive! I’m disgusted by this entire situation and for him to be wanting to have his own child arrested just because she has called him and his wife out for the child abuse she endured and observed is beyond despicable! Kevin should also be arrested. He knowingly participated in her UA-cam channel. Then tried to have his own daughter arrested. When he thought she was the one who broke into the home. When in fact, it was the police.

The thing is that Kevin was only out of the home twelve or thirteen months and the abuse started long before that, while he was still in the home. Much of it documented on THEIR channel. He knows and he was an active participant in the abuse. Also, isn't he a college professor or something? So, he can't be totally stupid. He's never heard of parenting plans and family court? If he had really wanted to be in his kids' lives, he would have moved mountains to make it happen.
His best move at this point is to keep quiet and hope that his lawyer can point to the plausibility of his being the victim of manipulation. If he shows remorse, that can also play into the idea of him "seeing the light" and desiring to reject the darkness of the past.
Kevin listened to everything Ruby & Jodi demanded. That’s why he wasn’t around for over a year. He definitely wants back with Ruby. Kevin did NOTHING to see those children for over a year. He is probably listening to everything Ruby is telling him to do. He could of brought this to a court to see them. Abuse has gone on in that house far before this situation.
Spot on! When I think of Kevin I'm reminded of the vids where ruby and him talk about their sex life. Ruby saying she uses sex a reward and even saying this on another vid. He is weak
I am sure Kevin was busy for days frantically deleting hard drives, SD cards and cloud storage like there is no tomorrow, as soon as he learned of the arrests.

@@jodibraun6383 Digital forensics only come into play when investigators are actually seizing devices and analyze them. The fact that all this stuff had still been scattered all over the house at this point is disheartening - and also, that Kevin Franke apparently hasn’t been charged with anything yet.
My impression is that the justice system in Utah is only ever doing as little as they have to to somehow barely get away with it in the eyes of the public.
I feel like he should get some charges because he didn't do anything to stop any of the abuse, aka depriving food as punishment

There is enough evidence in the youtube videos alone never mind the children's statements to prove he was part of at least the emotional and mental abuse. He took christmas away from his kids, let his son sleep on the floor and sent him to camp. He can cry victim all he wants but those kids are the only victims in this case.

Ther'es a lot of baby daddies out there not being charged. I dont think we will see this happen unless they cant get him for anything else. If they have some evidence to say he was in on it, but not enough to convict, i could see them finding obscure crimes to charge him with.

Maybe Emily didn't know, but Shari has had custody of the middle children since nearly the beginning.
I think she didn't want to share that, but when I heard it was a huge relief for me. I just hope the two youngest are in a good, loving home. I know state care can be just as bad or worse than the abuse the kids are leaving.

@@missvickimae1150- Sheri Frankie has the two youngest children because if you remember, the boy was not allowed to be placed with any other children because of that SA allegation Ruby made in court, which I will be shocked if it’s true. The court is erring on the side of caution there, so it’s those two older kids that were bound up that are placed in foster families & the younger ones with Sheri. I’m sure that DCFS and the police are very concerned that if the kids get placed with any family members, they may manipulate those children to say what they want them to say for court. I hope those kids don’t go with any family other than that older daughter, until the case is resolved.

How telling that Kevin allows and participates in the Franke’s special brand of parenting all those years prior to the separation, yet attempts to treat his eldest child (who is homing his youngest kids) as a common criminal when she removes items of value from a home which has a broken door. What a piece of work.
Things the kids worked for. The channel was about them! They should have paid them if they claim not to share their money with kids and have their kids clean others houses for free as punishments like is displayed on the video that came out when they were located at another Hildabrant cult participants house.

Ugh, he seems like someone who also wants to abuse power and give out punishments for what he sees as infractions. These kids are better off without these so called parents in their lives.
My dad threatened to call police on me before for taking my own stuff, when kicking me out. Things like my id, laptop, clothes and books; because either they are payed for some of it, or knew I'd bought in cash, so couldn't prove they were mine. It tuck a long while to get them back.
His attitude really reminds me of that.
If he hadn't lived in the house for a year how does he know exactly what was taken out of the house?
Because they ran such a strict household that everything was perfectly squared away in assigned places. They children had no agency over themselves or their belongings, everything was exactly where the parents said it had to be.
I’m sure he’s been talking to ruby and had him look for stuff after she found out she’d been in the house. And he’s still in tight with ruby. Ruby says to jump. He asks how high.

I'm wondering if Sheri Franke was asking for any and all videos of her parents involving abuse of the kids right after the arrest. I'm genuinely wondering if it is to keep the kids away from Kevin knowing he was complacent before he was out of the house and a full year without contact. Sheri seemed to be one of the few people continually fighting for her siblings.
Kevin appears to be more involved in this case than I originally thought. His fast accusation of his daughter was very suspicious.
I hope authorities consider him a person of interest since the abuse did start prior to the involvement of Jodi (who clearly bumped it up many notches. Kevin certainly showed his support of Ruby’s abusive methods on the videos we have seen.
After that little comment, "Tell me again why this isn't burglary?"
In my opinion his eldest will never forgive or forget her father.
She shows more love and compassion to her siblings then either parent ever did.
Nobody stopped Kevin from getting a lawyer and fighting for access to his kids during that time! Is there any record of his attempt to get visitation?
In the videos on the 8 Passengers channel, Ruby Franke talked about, on a few occasions, that children have no privacy and that they lost phone privileges. The oldest daughter went to retrieve belongings on behalf of the two children in her care which, to me, begs the question: Did the oldest daughter take those electronic devices because she remembered they had belonged to her siblings? That would explain why she didn't resist giving them back to Kevin...Kevin would have claimed they were his property (probably because if it belongs to his child, it belongs to HIM). Just a thought.
You have brought a very relevant fact for this case. Ruby and Kevin believe they are the soul proprietors of all the material things in the family home. This is much needed context ❤
This may have been said I missed it, is it possible Shari allowed LE to download all the data from those electronics before happily returning them to him?
Kevin left that home 13 months ago and left a bunch of belongings there so I wonder at this point, what right does he have to all the contents of the house. Maybe the items left behind had been repurposed & given to the kids to use? How dare he come back after 13 months acting like he’s lord of the manor?!
Amazing how sick this father is: worried about his stuff missing and putting his efforts into perecuting his eldest child, while his other children have been suffering abuse and are God knows where...

The fact that Kevin said "I'll have to research that" is another example of their (Ruby and Kevin's) constant dismissal of what experts/authority says. In his head, he thinks he knows the law more than the actual law enforcement officers. Just like how Ruby thinks she knows better than doctors and teachers.
I mean, depending on the officer maybe, but the officer seems in the right here.
As I understand it, the eldest daughter was accompanied into the home by a police officer and a social worker to gather her older siblings’ possessions because she had been tasked with and was taking over care of them
Kevin is at best complicit with what was going on or at worst was taking part in the abuse
This is just so sad for me. Kevin Franke, (or Dr. Franke as I knew him) was one of my favorite professors. I was in a class with him when my daughter suddenly passed away. He was someone I looked up to and sometimes I would just sit in his office with my spouse and just cry. He was one of 2 professors that I could be completely open and honest with and although I had to file for extensions on deadlines, he was always understanding throughout my grieving process. I never knew much about his UA-cam channel, and this is just so sad for me because this is not the man or family I personally knew. I’m still in shock and just feel so bad for the kids.
It’s very insightful that you can see the side of him you knew wasn’t what he showed his family and it is terribly sad that was the case. It sounds like if he was his kids wouldn’t be where they are now. It’s often hard to reconcile those differences in our mind so kudos to you for speaking up about it!
@@Cat-yk8qb Thank you for your comment. It is incredibly heartbreaking what has happened to the children. It just goes to show that someone who is a great employee/professor can be a completely different thing at home. I just hope that the children that have been affected by this will get the love and help they need.

What kind of Professor was he and are you Mormon as well, if I may ask?
@@basicallyno1722 I had him for a few classes between 2012-2017. So I think that was before his wife met Jodi? The only reason I knew of the UA-cam channel was because on an engineering field trip he asked if we would be alright if he recorded some of the geotech landmarks we were going to or if we we wanted our faces blurred out.
If Kevin wasn't a part of the family for months and "didn't know what was going on" then how doea he know Shari was still barred from the house? How does he know Ruby didn't allow Shari to access the home? Just food for thought. Tbh, he's at least complicit in the abuse, and he's definitely done some abusive stuff before. Also, this is such a horrible look for him.
Sherri went in with CPS to get personal items for the two children that are now in her, Sherri's, care.
Great podcast Emily! In this day in age having a large family is so HARD. Each child strives to have their own unique personality, so the care and discipline of each child will vary. Many children will constantly challenge boundaries, that is how they learn and is NOT meant as rebelliion against the parents. I thought I heard the eldest son's bed was taken away as punishment while the dad was in the house, which I interpret this as emotional abuse. What else did the dad allow to happen to the children while he was present? Dad left the children to Ruby's sole care and she allowed Jodie Hildebrand to extremely abuse the children. IMO, at the very least the dad is guilty of neglect.
The oldest son's entire bedroom was taken away from him. He had to sleep in the family room on a beanbag.
Theory was that this was done to keep him from masturbating. They also removed the door from the bathroom.
They we're being abused and aggressively disciplined well before this. It doesn't matter how many children there are the actions of these 3 adults are disturbing and disgusting. These adults have an absolute knowledge of right and wrong yet blatantly bestowed abuse upon innocent children.

i reaally appreciate the podcasts where the host is just covering the issue and not cutting down the church. as a member of the mormon church, these abusive people really do give it a black eye, but i know a lot of members who are awesome, not abusive and i have learned to be a better person from associating with them.
Sherry is absolutely the ONLY member of this family I would trust having custody of those kids. The ONLY one. I feel like everyone else in this family, that is in the public eye, either was part of the abuse or did almost nothing to help stop it.
There is a case where I am in New Hampshire that is about Harmony Montgomery, the mother who didnt have custody in Dec. 2019 reported that she hadn't had contact with her very young child.
Because of state lines and covid her case feel threw the cracks. The Dad had no business in getting custody but because of the state line issues (MA and NH) no one knew that the Dad had a record.
Its a heartbreaking case. The dad's murder trial is coming up and MA and NH are currently working on legislation so that this doesn't happen again.
Kevin reminds me of my dad. He is so trauma bonded to my mother that when I went no contact with her for my own safety, it was seen as a "betrayal" and i was not "loyal" to the family.
Renee it is so hard to create the boundaries you need with family. It takes tremendous courage, more so when you know how they will respond.

Why do these horrible abusers sometime try to blame the victim for their abuse. They made claims against this boy like he deserved the abuse cause of these claims. Its just a sick and a disgusting thing to do. Nobody deserves what happened to those kids
Can you imagine two of your children being found in that condition and you are concerned about your front door and a laptop? IMO this guy was absolutely complicit in the emotional and psychological abuse of his children before Jodie alienated him from the family. Maybe it escalated after he was gone but he isn’t innocent.

I haven’t seen anyone mention that one of the kids is unaccounted for; the youngest son and daughter are in foster care, the two middle daughters are with the eldest daughter, but the eldest son, who originally got the parents scrutinized in the first place years ago, is nowhere to be mentioned. Is he ok?

It’s my understanding he has an appt at college, initially he was living with Kevin but Jodi didn’t like that and told them they shouldn’t live together.

Imagine you haven't seen your kids in a year, you find out two of them were being TORTURED, and after SWAT shows up and your eldest daughter takes some items from the house your number one concern is to TRY TO GET YOUR ELDEST DAUGHTER ARRESTED and then you think you're going to get CUSTODY!??? He is always looking for reasons to PUNISH his children, even when they are in a situation like this and were in danger, he jumps on a chance to punish his eldest daughter. It's also very telling that he LIED about this after getting flack form people, even though it's on body cam footage so it's obvious he did it. I also saw an interview with his lawyer where the guy danced around answering why the front door of the house was broken into as if they didn't know, trying to avoid admitting that the police broke in to try to find the other children, but it seems obvious they would know the police were the ones who did it. Kevin and his lawyer are LYING. And then to be mad about your door being broken down when YOU haven't even seen the kids in over a year and supposedly didn't know they were being tortured? If I found out my kids were in that situation and the police were breaking down doors looking for my other kids who may be in life threatening danger, I would NOT be worried about a stupid door! Go ahead, break in! Find my kids so they will be safe! GAH I AM SO ANGRY WITH THIS HORRIBLE MAN!

Kevin’s lawyer is a Boss. He’s kept his client from doing or saying something stupid. Kevin nearly lost his cool over ‘the robbery’. His lawyer must have told him to drop it. When Kevin said ‘I’ll have to do more research’ he clearly meant that the lawyer told him to STFU!
I saw a segment of 8 Passengers' on another channel- I think it was Jordan and McKay- in which Kevin was gloating over some psychological cruelty he and Ruby was perpetrating on their children. He may not be as bad as Ruby and Jodi, but he's still pretty awful. IIRC, he and Ruby had confiscated a bunch of the kids' possessions, and told them they'd have to do chores until he and Ruby deemed that they'd "earned" their property back. And anything they hadn't worked enough for at the end of the day would be thrown away. The sadistic glee in Kevin's voice as he said this was soul-chilling. Add that to his obvious desire to get his oldest daughter arrested, and you pray that he doesn't gain custody of any of his kids again.

I don't understand why he hasn't been charged with abandonment, because from what I can tell, Utah law says "abandonment" occurs when a parent has had no contact, and made no effort to make contact, or made no attempt to get custody for a period of 6 months. Kevin went 13 months without contacting his kids, going so far as to block their numbers and social media. So he fits the criteria more than twice over. Why has he not been charged? I really don't understand, and I hope that the court takes both these facts and the fact that, when he finally was essentially forced by circumstance to interact with his kids, his first instinct was to have one arrested for burglary, into consideration when determining where the children should live. Because this man is a cold, cold mess.

Thank you for bringing up that young 5th edition franke is a goddamn hero. His mother may be off her freaking rocker, but he did her far more proud than she ever deserved. That takes gumption, because it could've been so much worse had Jodi or mother dearest were there. It could've been a news headline of another much much much more tragic type.
As much as I'm curious to keep up with those kids. They are right. Those kids have privacy and it shouldn't have come to this to get it. I hope that the UA-cam community at large keep their prying to public records. They are safe. There are qualified eyes on those kids. I have no doubt that the eldest siblings will be involved either through visitation or custody and that was my biggest worry. Those kids needs their siblings. They're the only ones in the whole world that understand, truly understand, the fucked up journey they've been on. The rest is years of ups and downs, therapy, medical care, and a new way of life. One I hope is better. I also hope that any money earned is seized and split into trusts for the kids after all the legal shit is dealt with. Kevin and ruby should see none of it.
@TheEmilyDBaker, I wonder if the electronics were actually the children's. The 2 older daughters are in Sheri's home, but still under state custody. I think Sheri and CPS went to the home to get things for the four children in custody. She probably either thought they were the children's or actually they are theirs, and Kevin didn't want them looked into.
Parent# rights and parental responsibility are two entirely different things. He backed off for 13 months because he put Ruby first and his kids NOT his responsibility attempting to preserve his marriage before fatherhood.

One thing that is curious to me is how Kevin wanted to charge Shari with robbery but yesterday heading to family court they were all together walking in. Kevin & the two oldest kids. I can't imagine I would be standing next to my dad who wanted me arrested? lol
She was no contact with him even when he was out of the house. At least that gives the idea that she is aware he was an enabler in their abuse. I trust she won’t allow him to convince her that he is someone she can trust.
Sheri was taking care of the two older children. Not sure where two younger children are. He threatened to sue Police Dept for not charging her. He didn’t seem to be concerned where the children were! I think you are 💯correct…Jodi will be thrown under that big yellow bus!

It has been hinted that he had an issue with her parenting style. So instead of standing up to Ruby like a man and protective father, he left then blamed it on Ruby and Jody for manipulating him.

Halfway through watching your video and I was thinking about Shari’s 911 call last September. If I was 20 like Shari and I was at college and my family’s neighbors called to tell me that my siblings had been left alone for days I would have called Both my parents, mom AND dad to find out what was happening at the house!!!! Did Shari call her dad? Did she know that he’d not come home to get the kids??? How the world did Kevin not know how the children were being treated??!!

I think Kevin is as guilty of abuse as Ruby. He hadn't seen his kids for over a year and I think he hadn't spoken to them for that same amount of time. He abandoned his children to the dubious care of Ruby and Jodi. Also, none of that stuff taken was important to Kevin for 13 months. Why is it suddenly so important? I think Ruby told him he needed to get all the computers and devices from the house.
I think when Kevin says 'he'll have to do more research', he is saying that he wants Shari charged. I've seen his lawyer say that Kevin didn't want her arrested, but the bodycam footage shows that isn't true. I guess Kevin may have lied or misled to his lawyer about this but, I think it's more likely the lawyer is trying to paint Kevin in a good light. His lawyer is making contradictory statements while trying to do so.

I thought that Shari was taking care of the kids for a short period of time right after Ruby was arrested and was getting things for the kids. I was under the impression that the police went in with her to get things, but it sounds like that might not be the case. The reporting on this stuff has been so all over the place and it makes it hard to understand what has actually been going on since the arrests.
The Dad’s focus on the broken door rather than the reason it’s been broken by the police, not his daughter, is concerning.
Why would he get so mad about his daughter going and getting some clothes for the children. I don't understand why he wouldn't want his children be comfortable with clothes that they own or maybe toys that they own. He didn't even live there for 13 months

If Shari did indeed make copies of the info on the electronics that she took from the home, (as we all hope she did), would any of it be admissible in court? Very curious about the implications if she did actually make copies. Because I can't help thinking that there must be incriminating evidence on those hard drives and tablets.

Shari had custody of two of the children and she went in with Child Protective Services as they were getting items for the other children. CPS asked that the police be there as well, as they were unsure that Kevin would cooperate. They clearly knew what Kevin was.
I think all any of us really want no about the kids is that they're safe. They're getting help and maybe updates that they're doing well. That their continuing on with their education. They're thriving, they're happy. No details. I don't wanna know if they're in high school, college, or university. I just wanna know are they are continuing with their education and that they are happy and are thriving.

We're doing well, we don't need to know in what aspect we don't need to know in what place state town any of that with who? That was also keep CPS in the foster care on their toes. Now the eldest son is 18 can he talk in court about the time he was sent to a camp in the desert and had the rights of having a bedroom taking away from him for months. Surely that is classed as abuse? This was all shown on UA-cam. Can he maybe sue his parents for abuse too? Will it be looked into to make sure all of the kids were paid for being on camera. I think UA-cam or any part of the entertainment genre that shows kids should employ an advocate so that children are protected.

His daughter has a lot to lose if she were to be criminally charged & he knows that, perhaps he needs for her to be punished because she broke ties with him & her mother. He threatens his daughter but defends his wife who allowed his children to be tied up,starved & Lord knows what else. If he gets custody the masses are going to flip.
