Mustang Kenne Bell / Whipple Owners, DO THIS IMMEDIATELY! | RAD23

- One of the most important mods you should do if you have a roots or screw style blower! Unlike centrifugal style superchargers, the dirty exhaust gases are recirculated back into the intake BEFORE the compressor. Keep these hot, dirty gasses out of your blower....state law permitting.

Great tip. Looking forward to the first drive
What did you do with the tree vacuum ports in the back?
EGR valves on gas engines are opened under wide open throttle or load on only on diesels are the egr valves open on idle
I think I’m going to do this too
Did you wind up having to retune? Any idea what your WHP is?
Didn't need to retune. 458 rwhp
Awesome
I have a kenne bell 2.1. So this didn't trigger a check engine light at all?
No light
@@refinedautodesigns ok. Im going to don it then. I have the same set up as you. Big air kit and kenne bell 2.1. I have kenne bells chip tune
U' know if increase any HP or just durability ? Thnks.
Prob no hp increase. Just wanted to keep the blower breathing clean air.

Better throttle response when I did mine. I can barely touch the gas and I'm doing burnouts.
you do realize that egr keeps the cylinder temps lower and doesnt recirculate these gasses under wide open throttle? my engine builder for my gt500 deleted egr without asking and i ended up reinstalling it. I had the same viewpoint as you about egr until I fully understood how it functions. I would remove egr only on a car that never serves a dual purpose as in daily driving. I am only posting this so people might do some research before removing it. egr replaces some of the combustion volume with inert gasses resulting in lower cylinder pressures and temps and power of course but this is ok EGR ONLY AFFECTS COMBUSTION DURING PART THROTTLE. EGR HAS NO EFFECT ON POWER UNDER WIDE OPEN THROTTLE.
Good point. I'll do some more research. I thought the opposite, increases temps while re-burning exhaust for emissions. Might remove the block off plate after some digging. Thanks
What did you do with the pcv system?
Nothing
Does this apply to 2012 as well
If you have a manifold blower, sure
Thanx
Hmm this seems like thin will cause you more problems then your blows lol
Other question... Why not quit both gasket and put a just one, a new one ( maybe in carbon fiber ), covering all. #FVCKWEIGHT #LoL
I’m not taking advice from a guy who drinks water for beer
And I’m sure you have to Tune after that weird delete
Do I? You tell me...
@@refinedautodesigns ya. Think you do have to turn egr stuff but I don’t know lol i run a procharger
No engine light. Only blocking the path. Valve moving like it should.
I have done this to with a plate and i get a code from it which is egr no recirculation
I deleted the entire egr. No sense wasting time.
