Truck is awsome. If I could suggest maybe run the exhaust threw the cab floor up to the roof that way you can hear all the noise that diesel gots to offer . It'll even warm up your cab
It has everything to do with the rolled lip on the tip, I’ve been through the same thing, the lip on the end is what helps you get the “rack” and “clap” if you can get a 36/12” that has a rolled lip it will be the loudest exhaust you’ve had yet and get that sound your looking for
Angle it toward the ground more so it echo's off the pavement. It wouldnt take much. You could have added 1 or 2 inches of straight pipe to the down side of the axle pipe instead of cutting the bumper
If you have an 03 turbo on it you can remove the silencer ring if you haven’t already pretty easily, run 5” exhaust and a 45 degree angle on your tip. She’ll sound gooder lol love the content!
I think it sounds best with no tip but the 12 inch looks the best. Have you considered running the exhaust into the drivers window?? That would take care of the sound going out the back. 👍👍
Mine is a 4 inch straight pipe turbo back with a 6 inch rolled tip and its louder than it with the 10 inch in there. I have a buddy with a 6.0 5 inch straight pipe turbo back with a 7 inch tip and it sounds the same as mine just deeper. Still sounds good tho
Larger the diameter of pipe the more it'll muffle the sound If you want it louder in the cab, just run DP dumped right at fire wall or under cab with it pointed towards the ground.
Try rotating it to angle it outwards...if not just dump the exhaust in front of the axle and be done with it...then of course there’s the stack option which you need a bed anyway so it doesn’t hurt to cut a hole in that one
Man what in the fuck are you doing that's pretty damn cool bro I know it's not just an Indiana thing decorating Christmas lights on anything sitting out in the yard😂🤣😂 just kidding man I'm pretty sure somebody will help you get that sounding the way you want a lot of cool dudes with big diesel trucks my buddy's exhaust tip got stolen in the Walmart parking lot the other day and that one you just put on the truck looks just like it💯💪🏽💪🏽💚👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽😎👊🏽
I say take two 36 inch angle them to each side and mount them right behind the cab on the bed rail you will hear them then also get a bigger straight pipe
If you want it to pop alot and get louder get a smaller diameter tip. On my old 04 i had 4in turbo back then actually decreased to 3.5 at the very end where the tip was and put on a stock dual exit tip thats on the newer dutys. didnt look super duper cool but that thing popped more than a 2 step civic on drift day.
Sometimes bigger isn't always. Better. My pipes on my ram are only like mabey 3 inches around. And extend all the way out. And it sounds so deep and loud u can hear that hemi power from miles away..i do love the look though of the new tip. Can't lie.
I honestly thought of changing my set up also to something like 6 inch pipes and doing an x straight. But I'm scared it will change it to something I don't like. And take the compliments I get away from the truck.
I didn’t realize where your dads shop was until I passed it the other day on the way to a job. Really nice place. And no I am not going to say where it is. I wonder how the 12” would look as a short stack in the bed?
4 or 5 inch with no tip is the loudest. I went from a 5" straight pipe with no tip, then added a 6" MBRP tip, and it got quieter in the cab. Outside of my truck, idk.
@@freeddiesel That's true. Now that you say that, the 6" tip that I got is rolled at the end, so when it does crackle, it's super loud, but over all, it's more quiet in my cab.
Adjusting is a pain in the ass cause I done it on my truck and it didn't work out so I just left it. I like the 10 inch tip better to be honest. My buddy put a 8 inch tip on his 6.0 and it sounded bad ass and I like it. So yea either 8 to 10 inch tip sounds better then ur 12 inch there. Also get a kc turbo to cause it would sound even better.
That quad with that tip was epic omg you def need to get another wheeler to put a tip like that on ots kinda your trademark to have a big tip bahahahahaha
Personally I think you should put it out under the passenger side in front the wheel if you can or where it is behind but have the pipe elbow in towards driver side then elbow back out so it’s not sticking out 36 inches and only the tip of the tip is out. Or you can always message that other UA-camr , he even goes by the name whistlin diesel I’m sure he knows how to make it whistle better. 😬
Truck is awsome. If I could suggest maybe run the exhaust threw the cab floor up to the roof that way you can hear all the noise that diesel gots to offer . It'll even warm up your cab
Mmm ya that'll make er loud
Fuckin jacked bud i tried that once
If I could route the exhaust in to the cab without killing myself, I would. Diesel smells so sexy lol
puts you to sleep also
@@OMGitsGODx I think that's why I'm so dumb lol, used to get out and sniff my dad's 6.9 idi like it was candy lol
Shorten the exhaust and put the tip angled right in front of the rear tire for a louder deeper sound. That seems to be the best sound
I love watching freed he makes me laugh a lot lol keep up the good 6.0 video's!
“I run this on my Lawnmower”😂
I think the 12inch whistles more but I’d angle in downward a lil more so sound bounces off the pavement.
Been waiting for a new upload. Glad it’s here!!!
Single 8in stack behind the cab off centered towards the passenger side sounds the best
I think it sounds pretty damn good when you first started up it sounds like a damn jet
Yeah with the start up and low rpm rev it almost sounded like a duramax
He definitely woke up all those kids in the neighborhood to the beauty sound of the 6.0
It has everything to do with the rolled lip on the tip, I’ve been through the same thing, the lip on the end is what helps you get the “rack” and “clap” if you can get a 36/12” that has a rolled lip it will be the loudest exhaust you’ve had yet and get that sound your looking for
I did that....you are correct...REALLY LOUD.
Freed never disappoints love the content
Man I love your content. Amazing trucks and you are fantastic!!
That’s awesome keep up the good content
good stuff bro you make my day better every upload
love the content 👌always excited for a new video
Angle it toward the ground more so it echo's off the pavement. It wouldnt take much. You could have added 1 or 2 inches of straight pipe to the down side of the axle pipe instead of cutting the bumper
You mean like an axle dump tip exhaust
Sounds great keep the good work up
It sounds sick bubba
If you have an 03 turbo on it you can remove the silencer ring if you haven’t already pretty easily, run 5” exhaust and a 45 degree angle on your tip. She’ll sound gooder lol love the content!
03 turbos sound the best
I don’t think they have silencer rings
@@trentonsatterfield8626 KC 10 blades sound the best on 6.0’s
Sounds like a jet🤣
I think it sounds best with no tip but the 12 inch looks the best. Have you considered running the exhaust into the drivers window?? That would take care of the sound going out the back. 👍👍
lmao
If you keep going your channel will be massive. Upload more content more often
I like the way you treat your younger brother. 👍
That exhaust sounds so damn good 🤤🤤😧😧
I love the truck dude keep it up
Some real Hoosier Sh!t
Looks good and sounds great
freed....YOU... ARE A HUGE TIP
Larger the diameter of pipe the more it'll muffle the sound
If you want it louder in the cab, just run DP dumped right at fire wall or under cab with it pointed towards the ground.
I wanna wall bounce it
@@freeddiesel
Run it like you had it or do a turn out in front of back tire. Run a 6" to 8" tip. Itll wall bounce and crackle like a wet fart
This channel is so underrated
Angle it straight at the ground over the axle peak performance sound
Hell yea boy I’m loving it
Sounds amazing
Do either a bed stack or go to the 10 inch tip and go in front of the rear tire it will sounds more aggressive and throaty
Love your shit man. Miss the ole f150
Thats how ya do it now
This is awesome!
Deff side dump that 12" with a 45 or 90 infront of the tire loudest exhaust I've had on mine
Bet
6.jet thing sounds amazing
Truck is looking good brother. " just the tip" lol
Try rotating it to angle it outwards...if not just dump the exhaust in front of the axle and be done with it...then of course there’s the stack option which you need a bed anyway so it doesn’t hurt to cut a hole in that one
She sounds pretty damn good.
getter goin hoss🤘🏼🤘🏼
nice nice bro 😎
I love this video nice job 😂
Big difference that truck sounds damn good wish I had a turbo I got a idi 7.3 so you know it slow 😂
Man what in the fuck are you doing that's pretty damn cool bro I know it's not just an Indiana thing decorating Christmas lights on anything sitting out in the yard😂🤣😂 just kidding man I'm pretty sure somebody will help you get that sounding the way you want a lot of cool dudes with big diesel trucks my buddy's exhaust tip got stolen in the Walmart parking lot the other day and that one you just put on the truck looks just like it💯💪🏽💪🏽💚👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽😎👊🏽
Love and enjoy the video’s 😊😊😊😊
I say take two 36 inch angle them to each side and mount them right behind the cab on the bed rail you will hear them then also get a bigger straight pipe
55 gallon drum hood stack, done.
Do a video on rolling coal on puris and Tesla’s
hope you have a great day keep the great work
Thx
Thanks bro
I have a 4 inch turbo back with an 8 inch tip expected dumped and it claps pretty damn loud
I put a dual tip off of a newer 6.7 Powerstroke on my '02 7.3 Powerstroke and the exhaust noise in the cab is dissapointingly quieter 😢🥲
The marker lights are silly bright😆
We should do up the f150 the same way.
Ooo yess
That's a nice tip 😩
The trick is to have a 4 inch from turbo down to cab, then a 6ft section of 5in to 4in to a 10inch tip. My claps and wraps at 2k rpms
I gotta 3.5 turbo down to a 4, back to a 3.5 then to an 8 inch tip on my 12 valve and it wraps hard 2k+
I need his shirt 🤤FORDS KING OF TRUCKS 😈
If you want it to pop alot and get louder get a smaller diameter tip. This is wrong lol.

Thas a big ass tip boiiiiiiii 😎🤘
That's one big pipe sir😉
Are u going to live stream tomorrow like thanksgiving?
the ol gal s looking mint
That’s the same exact tip I have on my 97 Chevy gaser and on my Duramax
Now you need a decal on the back window or tailgate that says Horizontally Stacked
I'd personally stack it, friends 7.3s got an 8in stack and its plenty loud in the cab
Thanks for the video🎃🎃🎃
Nice Christmas decorations. What car is wrapped in lights?
No idea lol
Have the exhaust tip engraved with your signature like freed diesel
It's all in the tip
I didn’t realize where your dads shop was until I passed it the other day on the way to a job. Really nice place. And no I am not going to say where it is. I wonder how the 12” would look as a short stack in the bed?
Ooo
Shoot with that tip might want to try axle dump then it would sound louder I think
Side exit in front of the tire with the 10 inch tip will be loud I can tell you from multiple experience’s haha
Honestly that 6.0 sounds bueatiful without an exhaust tip. That’s how I’d run it though as long as the epa doesn’t know.
I vote stack it like the f150. Definitely would be louder. Couple chrome big dogs would look good on the black.
Can’t say I can notice much of a difference with either or hell even with no tip
I got a 10 inch tip on my Kawasaki bayou 220 so that ain't to big 😂
😂😂😂
Now that’s some badass shit
If it's not too long do an axle dump with it. Thats about as loud as she'll get, echos right off the ground.
Nice tip
"I run this on my lawnmower"😂
Love you content hood stack? Betcha she would sound insane
Axle dump would be your best bet with the 12"
Where did you get the tip I love it lmao 😂
4 or 5 inch with no tip is the loudest. I went from a 5" straight pipe with no tip, then added a 6" MBRP tip, and it got quieter in the cab. Outside of my truck, idk.

My buddy had 5 inch pipe to 10 inch bed stack thing was stupid loud especially with the rear sliding window open
hood exit seems the most logical choice here………
I agree with Gary it needs to be run out of the side.
Axel dump sounds the best

Put out the SIDE! 90° You'll hear it!! Also non vgt for more crackle.
tractorflap hood exit ? or bed exit stack
Thank you 4 your content bro love what you do and the work i know you have 2 put in 2 get it done..come on
That thing sounds like a fighter jet
That's a yuge tip, it's the greatest tip, it's fabulous, it'll make trucks great again.✋ 👌
