Forgot to talk about Eternity, recovers GY mons like veidos back to hand and can shrink opponents stats and steal back your stuff, helps push through stuff, but slow *shrug*
Cool deck build with Kashtira. However, I'd highly recommend building this deck with Ryzeal since they are a great Pyro engine you can combine with Ashened. It has actually seen some competitive play in the OCG. I really think people are sleeping on that hybrid build. Especially right now that we don't have the Seventh Tachyon searcher spell cards out yet. On a side note: If the deck got a similar card like Blue-Eyes just got in Maiden of White it would solve so many of it's problems. Something like where it's a lvl 4 DARK Pyro monster that when you discard it from your hand you can add any "Veidos" or "Ashened" card from your deck to your hand. If a Dark Pyro monster(s) is summoned to the field you can SS this monster from the GY. Also give it a built in Blazing Cartesia Quickplay fusion ability as well and/or a Fallen of Albaz fusion ability where you can use materials from your opponent's side of the field.
@@jorge126790 yeah no one has made a video of the deck list. I've only seen it in covered in meta reports from other yugituber channels like Galzo and mkohl40 etc. You can look at those videos that covered it and I think if you search online for the OCG decks you might be able to find some stuff too. Other than that, I haven't seen anyone else cover it at all. I don't know if it would be stronger than Fiendsmith Ryzeal so that could be why it's not more in the meta decks. However, I really think pure Ryzeal isn't as strong unless you mix it with other engines because if they block off your Rank 4 Xyz plays, you have no follow up or Plan B. Playing Ashened Ryzeal, Fiendsmith Ryzeal, Kashtira Ryzeal, etc. gives you an overall stronger deck because you have more lines of play.
I was gonna play this but my brother bought me rescue ace when they came out and I have been hooked on rescue ace but I also love the art work on this. I will try this out. Thanks for a great deck list
I’m experimenting with a blind go second Ashened deck that uses a bunch of board breakers and non engine with the Ashened decks small engine to generate a lot of advantage while creating openings. Might work, might not.
Im using pretty much the same ratios as you do. To me the biggest buffs to ashened outside of direct support would be 1 or 2 useful pyro links so we can turn weird combinations of levels into something useful. Or either more volcanic support to enable banshee plays into normal soldier or sth or another pyro archetype that has synergy. Best would be an archetype with its own pyro extra deck monsters so we have plays when bridging the 2 archetypes. Sadly since the deck is so reliant on the field spell it kinda is forced to not move away too hard from 40 cards 😕
I actually don't think they'll hit Bonfire due to its usefulness in Razeol and overall lack of good search targets. If they hit anything I believe it would be Wanted, the storyline is still ongoing which ultimately means more targets for it but they'll want people to play other decks at that point. I think Volcanic Emperor and Emission are must plays, it makes Shaman more useful and doesn't conflict with the pyro restrictions.
It's already been hit in the OCG to 1 copy, so I don't see it lasting over in the TCG much longer as well. Granted sometimes they hit stuff in OCG and it remains untouched in TCG. In any case, I'd say buy 3 copies of the card while it's dirt cheap due to it's high reprint in the QC Bonanza set just in case!
I swear if they gave ashened a circular that can dump eternity and search the quick play I’d play this deck for all eternity

I used to play Melodious with Ashened before the apollousa ban. I might try the Razeol engine next if it's not too expensive lol
