As I'm watching your video, I'm thinking of things that have helped me with hair that wants to tangle a lot, when it's wet, and two of them have to do with how hard your water is. We have medium-hard water and things I've done to counteract the effect of this on my hair are:
1 - a mild apple cider vinegar rinse after shampooing and conditioning - (one capful of ACV to 300mls warm water) my hair is coarse so I don't rinse this ACV out but if you have fine hair you might want to leave the rinse in for a minute or two and then rinse it out. ACV rinse makes my hair shine and makes it less tangle-prone.
2 - I bought a Hello Klean shower head filter (they have a few different types). I don't bother with the ACV rinse any more since getting the shower filter because my hair feels less tangly with this change.
It might be worth looking on your local water company website to see how hard your water is. There are also shampoos that have chelating ingredients that might help if you have water-related issues.
3 - Pre-shampoo coconut oiling my hair helps to prevent tangles. This doesn't counteract water hardness but it does help to make my hair lengths less tangly after washing. I'm sure there's a great explanation of how and why it works somewhere on Abbey Yung's channel but I can't remember it off the top of my head 😬
I found your video very relaxing to watch although your relaxing Sundays are much more active than mine - I curl up with a book and some hot chocolate and proceed not to move until I absolutely have to 😊
Edit - forgot to mention that sometimes my hair gets tangly because it needs a trim or a dusting: www.lorealparisusa.com/beauty-magazine/hair-care/all-hair-types/hair-dusting-haircut

You're right Nic; hard water definitely makes a big big difference. We have a water softener installed at home but I always notice the difference when we travel.
I've never tried an apple cider rinse, anything that adds shine is a win as far as I'm concerned. Do you have any particular product recommendations?
Glad you enjoyed the video, your Sunday's sound lovely - what are you reading at the moment? I love to read so much. I just finished The List of Suspicious Things, it was fantastic even though it reduced me to tears! x

@@Tori_Hunter I love a book that I can lose myself in to the point of feeling tearful or triumphant given what's happening to the characters. Currently. I'm re-reading Patricia Highsmith's Ripley series of books; I hadn't read them for years and they were on special offer for Kindle so I treated myself.
I usually use Aspall's organic cider vinegar as it's easy to find in most UK supermarkets but, in a pinch, I've used Tesco and Sainsbury own-brand and had no issues.
I keep a plastic pint glass, or a pack of disposable plastic cups, in my bathroom as that way it's easy to pre-fill the container with a capful of vinegar before getting into the shower and then fill the container with water from the shower head and tip it over my hair. Remember to avoid getting it in your eyes (don't ask me how I know this lol).

@Nic2C Lol oh no I can absolutely guess how you know to share the tip about avoiding eyes!
I’m absolutely going to give this a try at some point, thanks so much for sharing the info with me and happy reading ❤️

Here's a "typical" Sunday routine - sprawl out on the bed, get up late, go downstairs and wait for back door to be opened, stare outside for several minutes, change mind and do not go out, want food, reject everything on offer, change mind again and go out, come back in, eat grub rejected earlier, have a snooze on the sunniest window sill in the house, go get more food, go out again, come in, rip furniture to shreds (the artistic phase), back upstairs, have full body massage and mogopolise* the bed. *That's not a spelling mistake. It's a tactical manoeuvre.
I, however, spend my Sundays being a mug. I seem to spend Mondays to Saturdays also being a mug.
As for hair, I could bore you to death about what I do with my poker straight, low porosity, won't-hold-a-curl-or-wave-whatsoever hair, but I don't think it will be of any help to you. It's nothing like your hair routine.

Is that typical routine for my cat?
100% sounds like her routine except for the bit about going outside.

I really enjoyed this video Tori. My perfect Sunday is having over our two sons, their wives and our five grandchildren (three granddaughters and two grandsons) for Sunday lunch. Then when they are all gone, it is peace and quiet time for me and my hubby. Lol. Do you and your husband have any children if you don’t mind me asking? X

@@Tori_Hunter I hope I wasn’t too personal asking you if you and your husband had children. If I was then my apologies. Do you know when you will be doing the video on the Merwave products please? I can’t wait to see it. X

@fifi13912 I don’t mind at all - ask away 😊 at the moment it’s tricky to film wash routines as our bathroom is being refurbished. As soon as it’s finished it’s definitely the first video I’ll get filmed, I have the products ready to go 👌 x

hi Tori very interesting Sunday routine!l don’t usually do deep conditioning treatments, but l am trying to do them more often now 😊 the one l use “ Shea Moisture manuka honey & yogurt…”in the directions doesn’t specify to use heat… is there more benefit when using a heat cap like yours? is it okay to use a heat cap on all deep conditioning treatments? l hope you enjoyed your pizza 🍕😋😊

      Hey Rony,
That’s a lovely mask - I used to use that a lot; nice combo of protein and hydration.
It’s not a necessary step but yes I find the hat steamer helps to super charge that mask, I believe it’s a method used as part of a head spa experience. I don’t think you’ll ever find it on the instructions of a mask but I can’t think of a reason you couldn’t use it with any deep conditioning treatments.
It was delicious 😋 thank you ☺️
