This is how you coach fighters. Not only is He giving you the technique but He is also incorporating the pros and the cons in these videos. Great stuff!
These are some really nice drills. I always forget or skip through drills like this because i get caught up working on technical stuff too much like sparring and mitt works. It's always good to go back to the basics sometimes and work on making everything perfect. Good stuff man keep it up!!
Dude this is genius. I'm subscribing. When u said to punch with the arm on the same side as the side you move to I had an epiphany. Something clicked thank u. I don't have any trainers where I live and you are helping so much already
Jt, you nail it with this video on developing rhythm. As a guy learning the basics of boxing that I want to incorporate into my other training, Keep up the good work sir
Yo my man check this... you may not get the riches you deserve but the info.. the time and energy you put into your videos... bro is more valuable than any pricetag you can come up with. Your perspective and insight gives your viewers that personal experience we've been looking for far and wide. God bless you and keep up the good work.
So happy to see your success on UA-cam. You have been giving us your heart and knowledge and details that are second to known. Thanks for helping us and wish you continued success - (it was not overnight ! - you worked your butt off for it ! )
I'm glad glad i subscribed to you. I don't box but in my martial arts class they didn't really explain that much about rhythm. They just tell me to move my feet during punching which didn't help clarify things at all. I'm not the type that learns things from just seeing it. Thanks man.
Great work, man. This is very useful. I practiced Shotokan Karate, several years ago, and never got a fine rythm. These videos are helping me a lot to deal with my deficiencies. Thanks a lot.
You are simply amazing.. It looks so easy when I'm watching you doing it but when I tried the steps myself I really screwed it up. You are the only person here I want to watch the videos again and again.
I am far from being a believer in higher powers, but you truly are a godsend man. I will incorporate this tomorrow into my routine. PS: I have been working your shadow boxing routine (a video that is about 13 minutes) and it has been giving me great results, especially regarding stamina. Thanks. I am looking forward to finish a couple more months working out at the gym and then buy one of your videos. Most probably the footwork one.
I needed a video like this! I'm basically almost the equivalent of tone deff when it comes to some rhythm so trying to pick up boxing looks like an uphill battle but the will help
Another brilliant instruction video JT. These basic fundamentals are some of the most difficult aspects for a new guy like me to get down tight especially as bad practice can easily creep in when you're shattered and giving it your all. Thank You.
We used to do this drill back in the day. But we did it up as well as straight...part of it was an arm endurance drill, as well as a power transfer drill.
+Ether They were a glove I was selling before but they are out of stock now. These are my new ones - www.precisionstriking.com/shop/precision-striking-bag-glove-shipping-included-uscanada-email-for-discount-code/
Mark Anthony Hey Mark, I'm interested in making a free home boxing workout for people in the military around the world. And then maybe offering a discount on some of my existing products to people in the military. Can you tell me what you like the most? Is it the focus on techniques? Would it be a boxing specific workout that requires no equipment? I'm guessing the biggest limitation is boxing instruction and equipment, but i'm not sure. Also, is there any way I can get someone to verify that they are in the military so I can offer the free and discounted products? thanks, J
Appreciate all your training videos, just started watching boxing videos and yours are definitely best and most instructional. Wish you lived near me so i could train from you. Thanx
I have tried some of your videos on conditioning..and i have test it on real fight on street and they end up kissing the ground..now i want some more training
Dope video once again. Always insightful and practical. Keep em comin. That's ill you connected w Quest, it's the only protein bar I'll consume. Peace akh, be blessed, ba ha shem Yeshua.
Jason: Your videos are very helpful. For me, I am working on going "off rhythm" which works really well in sparring sessions. Do you have any suggestions for the "off rhythm " stuff?
I can not explain how much this has helped a 44 yr old fart who decided to learn this art because of you in the first place..ty for sharing your expertise with me...
The most usefull tips,Bro!;) The style of your broadcast - is Very intelligibly and clear for understanding, for real.. Could i ask you about broadcasting or selling the video, dedicated to "shoeshine" drillings and tips.. Because this type of drills are very difficult for understanding. Thanks a lot!!
Владимир Лоркин I have a video "boxing home workout #4", search for that video. in it you will see me do the shoeshine as a warm up drill. The shoeshine is not very useful for actual fighting but good to help you get your hands and feet moving as a drill.
Владимир Лоркин If you are interested in footwork I have a very popular footwork instructional video that I sell - www.precisionstriking.ca/product/boxing-footwork-instructional-video/
Hey JT I wanted to ask you if you could make a quick video on how to float around in the ring and wether your feet should be pointing and all that, I'd really appreciate it!
Don't know if you've seen them but the first drill reminds me of the tennis ball hat used by a few pros seen vids of Mosley and lamachenko using them. Really easy too make with house hold items as well I've got one myself should have a look mate would make a good video for you :)
This is how you coach fighters. Not only is He giving you the technique but He is also incorporating the pros and the cons in these videos. Great stuff!
jgibman1 thank you my man
Thanks for the shoutout! Glad we're able to help you knockout your goals.

So simple, but so effective. Brilliant.

The way you break this down is just incredible.
Thx Tristan
man as I told you before, you are blessed with rhythm, you dance when you box, awsome!
I am far from being a believer in higher powers, but you truly are a godsend man. I will incorporate this tomorrow into my routine.

Great stuff. Thanks.
Like the rooftop setting!
We used to do this drill back in the day. But we did it up as well as straight...part of it was an arm endurance drill, as well as a power transfer drill.
Congrats on working with Quest bro, another solid video as always!
I really like your videos especially the way you explain a technique. You made it very easy to understand and to follow on.
You're a great Coach, thank you
Yo, those solid black gloves are really slick man. No crazy labeling, logos or unnecessary writing on them. Just solid black, where did you get those?
+Ether They were a glove I was selling before but they are out of stock now. These are my new ones - www.precisionstriking.com/shop/precision-striking-bag-glove-shipping-included-uscanada-email-for-discount-code/
