- 👋 It has already been a whole year since I sold my 2014 Nissan GT-R! I owned that car for five and a half years and it was a really big part of our UA-cam channel. I had a blast owning it and built it up from stock to a full bolt on flex fuel 700 HP monster! It was a fantastic car to own and I had a ton of memories! However I sold my GTR last June in order to buy the Lamborghini Gallardo. Now that it's been a year, today I drive a very nice spec 2021 R35 Nissan GTR that even has the same red leather interior and is full bolt ons with flex fuel! So a very nice newer version of my old car. The GTR certainly packs a wild amount of power and is so crazy fast! It's been a while since I've felt this much power. And it is some fun! I will say I don't miss the car. I had my fun and sold it for a specific reason and truly am enjoying my Gallardo. My wife's new Audi RS3 has also been a fantastic car and we've enjoyed so much of what it offers. The RS3 gives us quite a lot of what the GTR had, just a tad slower. Still pretty darn fast, but nothing beats the GTR in speed! The Lambo also gives me that special feeling and is even more raw and old school feeling then the GTR. Manual Supra is a fun modern car with the tight handling. Overall I can see a GTR coming back one day, but in the future when I have the space to park an expensive car in the garage. I'm not itching to buy another GTR tho. Very happy with my current cars and will probably play with newer cars like the Supra and BMW M cars in the $60k price range for a bit longer for UA-cam content and save a six figure car like a GTR for the future when I can have more cars. But still fun to spend time with the new version of my old GTR and reminisce about the fun I had in that car!

Thanks for taking me down memory lane because you made the same faces you did when you had yours when going full throttle and it still cracks me up! We know you're enjoying your Lamby but if you ever flip the script and get another GTR, I as well as others will support your decision!
Yeah it was fun reminiscing about the GTR days! Epic car. I definitely enjoy the Lambo more tho. But I could see the GTR replacing the Supra in the fuse maybe!

2024 Bayside Blue, yes! I still mostly drive my 2018 on the weekend, haven’t become bored yet. Only lowered & mid pipe. I do admire the LC500, and it’s also going away soon. They depreciate quite a bit. Future channel car: Ineos Granadier, when they fix the steering.
Yeah Bayside blue would be the goal! A good used LC could be some fun
The thought did cross my mind a few times, wondering if someone could come up with a replacement part for the fake front vents while preserving the space for the fog/DRL. Or inserts that fit around the fog/DRL that can be painted body color or wrapped.

Yeah my wife isn't letting go of the RS3 anytime soon! Great cars for sure and maybe when the time is right an R35 will be back!

Would you consider purchase a GTR R34? The 1999 model of that car was just lifted this year to be imported from Japan, and can now be registered in the US and legally driven on public roads. Would you like to own that car?
P{probably not. While some are legal now, they are astronomically expensive and hard to get. So not really an affordable option, and they probably never will be. I like those cars, but not that much. I'd probably go MK4 Supra since those are much more attainable

If you dont miss the GT-R i dont think you be back to that platform. GTR really blends in. I do agree, not flashy. I still like my CBA. but rs6 avant would do everything+more.
I loved my time owning it. But with the Lambo I'm definitely not itching to get back into the GTR. I'r rather try other platforms at the price point of the Supra. But maybe one day when we want a practical Supercar, the GTR could come back
@@BrosFOURRSpeed I do agree that GTR makes it practical compared to other cars, just wish rear seat had more leg room. lol! our son just turned 1 - soon he's going to be sitting in the back of the GTR , when face forward :) what i like about GTR it is a RAW car. and i like that.

Yeah I mentioned that in this video. I like the Lambo more to be honest, so I'm not itching to get back into a GTR. But maybe in a few years when I also want practicality in a supercar

Camry is smarter buy.
lol not at all. The GTR is a high performance car. You can't do the same type of driving in a Camry. Plus the GTR's hold their value. You will spend nothing owning one of these since resale is consistent
