Have a 370z....personally a big fan of everything being analog because it always works, it is very cost effective to fix, and you can mod things yourself without too much effort.
You definitely don’t have to insert the key fob, just hit the start button as long as the key is inside the cabin just like any other push start. The only time you need to insert the key fob in the port is when your battery is dead on the key fob.
I remember being at 1200-1300hp. I thought it wasn’t enough and had T1 build me a 1700hp street build and holy shit it pulls hard enough to make you black out! Keep the car, you won’t regret its potential later on. It will always surprise you and 1200 is 100% the best area for power. 1700 in mine as one of my daily’s is an absolute handful 😂
With everything you’ve described I would put money you’re much closer to 1500whp than 1200whp on map 6 with E98. I’ve had the pleasure of working on/around a few 1200+ GTR’s and they all are insane.

Over 700hp AWD is needed to take advantage of that power on the street. Having a rear wheel drive car or a front wheel drive car with more power than that is basically wasted power that you cannot put down on the street. Yes there’s rear wheel drive cars that are very fast but if they were all wheel drive, they would be much faster.
Have any of you seen the video where the guys Saud the gtr motor is literally a coyote motor with 2 less cylinders they put a 1450hp gtr and a 1450hp mustang coyote on a dyno and the numbers were the same the lines pulls everything was identical pretty good video and coyotes been doing it since 2011 ❤
Gtr has the most insane low end of all cars and gear shifts... then falls flat after 130mph compared to the previous gearing... live these cars. Almost bought one last week but didn't and bought one of the final 350 camaro zl1's ! Fbo, tune, pulley,ported blower, 100 octane tune should put me within spitting distance of a zr1! Hopefully faster, if not then Magnuson 2650 will be slapped on it and then it will be a 1k hp monster.

Such a fast car. My neighbor has one. I use to race him all the time in my Porsche 911 Turbo S & kick his ass. Not anymore because his car has been enhanced and his GTR is like yours. I don’t even bother to race him now. It is hard to believe that a Nissan made vehicle is so incredibly fast. My Porsche goes 0-60 in 2.4 seconds and 60-130 under 5”. His GTR is faster in both categories. He daily drives it also. His car is obnoxiously loud. If I am sleeping and he starts up the GTR I always wake up. His house is 300 yards away.
