Her entire place in the MCU pretty much compromised years of worldbuilding of MCU.

One was when in Lord of the Rings everything's going badly, Minas Tirith is being attacked and then you hear horns and see the people of Rohan lined in front of the sun rising then charging to save Gondor. One was the first Avengers film seeing Hulk, Widow, Hawkeye, Iron Man, Captain America all in a circle for the hero shot like the comics I read as a kid, and then in this movie when it's Captain America standing alone vs Thanos and his army, then the portal opens with "On your left." A few close moments is first avenger when the General throws a grenade and everyone runs, apart from Steve Rogers who dives onto it without a moment's hesitation.

This is a great demonstration of why Carol is by far the strongest Avenger ( until Thor actually fully masters his powers ) . Wanda is powerful but she is a glass canon . She only has offensive and can be taken out like any normal human . But Carol ? She both has raw strength and the kind of durability that’s god level . Add in the fact that she can actually travel in space and fly and the only who comes close to her and could eventually surpass her is Thor
I honestly have a hard time believing any of that at least in the context of these movies. Regardless, she is a poorly written piece of wood and also, Wanda soloed Captain Marvel in Multiverse of Madness.
No one cares about Carol. She's a poorly written character that deserves no spotlight. Getting rid of her and all the new heroes the past 4 years would be a life saver for marvel

1:41 why is nobody talking about this BADASS shot of captain america facing the destruction of the ship? This is absolutely one of the most, if not THE most epic wallpaper taken out of the entire MCU in my opinion!
I think they introduced it as a bit of a changing of the guard. Cap, meet your successor-Captain Marvel. The comparisons of Thanos punching her in the face helped with that.
At the End: Thanos had the same emotional expression on his face as the Emperor when he found out that his Death Star had been destroyed first. Both just thought: crap! The thing wasn't paid off yet ...
The moment at 1:40 truly exemplifies just how far the power level in Marvel has gone. From Captain America to Captain Marvel. With no surprise on his character, Rogers humbly asks for an assist. A true passing of the torch. It's beautiful.
@@kindof3964 But they're not fighting the celestials yet are they? It's still Thanos. Keep the OP characters until after the Infinity Saga closes its chapter. And to be honest, I prefer Cap to fight Celestials anyway. Even if he loses, there'd be more nuance in that story than just an excuse seeing CGI characters blasting CGI stuffs.
Captain Marvel is very much like Superman in that she’s simply too powerful. The fight seems like a real struggle but when she shows up it’s over for the bad guys. No real counter for her.
Everything got so quiet...when Tony asks, what are they shooting at. Than slowly you see what and who it is just gave me chills. Love this scene and movie.❤😊
Pepper is a reminder of Tony Stark to Peter. How? Well she is his qife but here when Peter was in trouble, did you notice what she said? "I got you, kid" Yeah.
So while I like watching the movies, I don't read the comics. But after this movie I read the wiki on the characters and the scene is cooler when you understand whats going on. Captain Marvels power is to absorb and release energy. So this scene when she flys in she's glowing because she's absorbing the energy of the blasts. That's why she was able to destroy the ship like that. Same for when she fights Thanos. The first time she gets thrown away easily. The second time she grabs the gauntlet and absorbs the power from it, that's why the headbutt didn't affect her. That's also why thanos needed to grab the power stone to hit her away. He cut her off from the power source. You see the same thing in Captain Marvels movie, when she flies into space and scares away the alien ships, she absorbed the energy from the blasts they shot down to the earth. I honestly really like how they used Captain Marvel. The more I learn of the characters the more I appreciate the movies.
@@simonegreco1958 I mean i guess since her powers are derived from an infinity stone related accident, being close to one of them would super charge her
This is when you claimed the 2nd greatest entry to a battle. Marvel just took over 2nd place after the portal entry scene. Literally the ship stopped firing to fire instead at her. She paused a whole battle, everyone was just standing and watching.
The thing about being able to absorb energy is you can only absorb what you know is coming. a true surprise attack she would not be able to absorb. Say a stealth nuke explodes under her feet and she had no idea, she's dead. If she knew it would happen and when though, you just made her stronger.
