Any skin tight fade with a beard, always go straight across (or slightly angled down towards the nose) from where the top of the ear meets the head. Then you can blend/ lighten up the top of the side burn

mattjs It’s way easier for the client to move their head slightly than for the barber to hunch over, bend, and squat all day. Smarter not harder.
