Does Greg’s beard grow in straight like that of does he use a straightener on it?
@@jessethompson1545 A little of both. It comes in fairly straight, but he uses a blow-dryer and/or straightening brush to groom it. See other videos for how-to examples.

As much of a consummate professional as Jake is and as expert as his talents are, it's always fun to see the inevitable ever-so-slight look of panic in Greg's eyes whenever he is having a considerable style change done. It's so subtle, but it's there, lol. That said, Jake did a great job as always. Fantastic look, Greg.

Finally a barber who understands mustaches! I get that letting the stach grow looks more "natural" but it's also makes eating/drinking a task, also forget your wife wanting to kiss ya 🤣. A trimmed but still full mustache makes you look younger and want to keep the beard longer 😏

@@thompson9400 I'm sure I messed up a few trims in the beginning but that is how you learn. You make a connection with your beard and you learn along the way. No other person can cut your beard the way you will. You can envision how you want it to look in the end but the barber will have their own vision and it might not be what you expect. It's hit and miss.
It's gonna be so epic when he cuts his hair back to the old style. Waiting for that video!
Always really enjoy watching Jake's work. He is very good at what he does, I actually took an entry level barbering course because of him

This is exactly what I'm doing with my beard as well - while growing it out (I'm at 4 months now) I'm keeping the mustache short and trimmed to the top lip - it stops you from looking old and, especially, untidy. Plus I can't stand when the hairs grow over my top lip, really bugs me.
Looks good either way, this man can literaly rock every style.
