Having had some truly awful cuts / beard trims in the past, it is a real pleasure to be able to go to a barber who is passionate about what he does, who listens and executes an amazing cut.
I was and am really pleased with the cut. In the past I’ve shaved all my hair off, because I generally dislike the pattern and thinning. Mahesh was able to cut it in such a way that that isn’t an issue for me now. The “weight line” is accented significantly in the video, and is not particularly present a few days after the cut ... honestly, I’ve just checked with a series of mirrors in the bathroom. The beard trim was phenomenal, allowing me to continue growing without needing to keep cutting in those f8cking sharp lines every other day.
Finally, Jack cut out all of my jokes, which were REALLY funny.

I always think that. A guy with hair like that will look great with any cut. Its the cuts with customers who aren't blessed that show me the skills they possess
as a kid I did all my mates haircuts in the 1980's... (flat-tops, undercuts etc).. now I work in finance earning good $... but each and every one of Mahesh's vids make me think I would have been happier as a barber

I love it when my barber doesn't get in a hurry. It's relaxing getting a hair cut. My wife is my go to and she is learning from these gents
If I take more than 15 mins in my shop the guys start to get agitated. 20 Min maximum. It's quite stressful but they want to be in and out. Some guys come in on their lunch break and need to get back to work
I have lots of respect for a barber that takes time to listen. Helps create a plan of attack. Making sure they are on same page at the same time helping with suggestions

So far, out of all the barbers I have seen on this channel, I like this fellow the best. He is very passionate about what he does and is good at it. If I lived near him, I'd have him trim my hair and beard.
its nice seeing a video where one of your customers really gets it. your in there with an expert, make the most of it, talk to them, ask them questions let them know what your thinking.

I like this heavy weight lines more normal look messy then sharp fade or buzz cut so don't mind for negative comments and keep it up sir and great work.
I like the haircut length with the ability to pull it forward or sweep it back and to the side. Hoping to do something similiar for myself at my next cut. Were it my beard I would opt to go shorter. More along the length of Mahesh's beard. However, it isn't my beard and the customer perfers the longer style.
Mahesh's ability to contour a haircut to suit a client is brilliant. Unfortunately, some of that is undone with little attention being paid on the heavy weight lines. This particular customer has very fine hair, and maybe a 2.5/3 could've eliminated that problem, however, when a weight line does appear, it needs to be blended better than this.
I love watching people passionate about what they do. This channel has brought me loads of enjoyment. Keep up the good work.
Of all the barbers on this channel, Mahesh is deffo my fave.
Not a hater, Mahesh is a wizard with the scissors but he honestly can't fade for toffee, he always leaves such heavy weight lines in every hair cut. And spare me the cries of "the customer might have asked for that" because no one asks for weight lines like the ones he leaves.

This wasn't a fade. Although I agree he does leave weight lines, I think he does this with purpose. he often talks about how he doesn't like using clippers very high up, and he also talks about how in the shop they often leave haircuts more natural oppose to the more modern, sharp look. So I do agree with you that he in fact does leave weight lines but I don't agree that he "can't fade for toffee." It all has a purpose. He's the master with scissors so I think I'll go with him on this one.
Matt Hguab it may not have been a fade Matt but he could at least do a little blending to make the line less heavy. He says he doesn’t do fades because he can’t do them, not because he doesn’t want to do them. It’s like me with quantum physics, if I tell people how dumb I am then they’ll never ask me the meaning of anything because they know I don’t know. Do you know what I mean?
Matt Hguab and leaving weight lines with purpose is a bit like asking me to wash your car and me purposing leaving dirt and streaks after I’ve put the sponge 🧽 around it and then saying “but I did it with purpose mate”. Doesn’t make it ok whether on purpose or not. You’ve really got my goat up pal 🐐 ⬆️
It’s honestly not that bad! I watched the video and understand what you mean ... but in reality it isn’t that pronounced. I’m generally happy with the cut, but then you saw what I looked like before 😊

First thing I would do, with the front being how it is, is to not keep combing it forward. He's kinda got a windows peak, so the part at the corners should go back and Down. Then do a messy sort of thing with the top and leave the bangs a little over directed

Had a beard trim today. I want to grow it but keep it tidy. I asked them to just trim it, take the moustache off the lip, and line up the cheeks. I might as well have asked her for a number 6 (she did scisors over comb) if that would take anything off as its so short. And all the bulk has gone from my moustach.

Hey, Howard, it's going to depend on the area you are in. Here in Austin, a haircut and beard trim can range between 40-60 $USD depending on the shop. I leave a 20-30% tip depending on the time of year.

This customer seems to have a very unique growth pattern, especially looking at the hair above the sideburns and on the back of his head.
Mahesh did a nice job, but in my opinion he should have faded the hair up a bit more. Like almost 1 inch even. Still, nice work!
And btw, the customer gave a good description on what he wanted, I liked that.
