Paul Simon hides a galaxy in his soul
He does indeed! I so agree with you!❤️
This a haunting classic written by George Harrison. The harmonies of Crosby and Nash are the best you will ever hear as their vocals are so closely matched. Beautiful rendition
A very beautiful versión of the fine und unforgetable song of George
3 legends salute another legend...beautiful.
RIP David Crosby. A Byrd has flown
His voice was the glue. CSN was random. So was Simon and Garfunkel. What if it had been these three wonderful gents.
What a great performance and tribute. Bravo Paul Simon!!🌹💐😘🥰
Is there anyone on the planet more talented than Paul Simon?? Nah
A moment in time this
These vocals are unreal.
i've been singing this song to my wife every morning to wake her for the past 36 years.and i still cant even touch the class of these fine artists.
How amazing you are! Your wife, as she so well knows, I am sure, is blessed to have you as her amazing husband! What a beautiful tradition you have & so heartwarming!❤️💕❤️💕
What a trip sir good for you!
Wow your cool man, what a beautiful way to be woken up by a loved one
David Crosby. I hope knew that so many millions of people loved him; and I hope he made peace with Graham. Thank you, David.
At the beginning: "written by a dear friend of mine"
At the end: "That was for George"
This is truly beautiful... Paul's voice so clear and gentle... great tribute
i just want to says after a life of listening to this small guy - this is a beautiful song. simple. george inverness.
I had three strokes at the age of 36, nearly 9 years ago. It was a great struggle and wild sensory time. As I got out of hospital. This song played and played around in my head. Fortunately I had use of my arms and legs. For 2 years after, all I did was walk around on my own around the cliffs of the gower peninsula with this song on full blast-in the sun. Love this song, love George too. Truly a baiting rendition
Everyone with a brain knows that this is a Beatles song and that Paul Simon is one of the greatest song writers of all time. He doesn't have anything to prove.
Beautiful! RIP David Crosby
I listened to this song at a friend's place ...I was then a schoolboy...My friend died ..of a natural cause..and here I am listening to it again ...in my room....alone....it is a beautiful piece of work....I murmured to my self..."do you still like it man????"
I adore this song, and this cover is pure angelic, filled with ageless love ❤
c, est tout simplement magnifique. normal paul simon and friends , ces artistes sont merveilleux. super.🎵🎶🎸🇲🇨
Ohhhh... Gorgeous, harmonious voices. This is beautiful.
GOOD NIGHT, AGNES!!! Paul Simon, along with David Crosby and Graham Nash, gives brilliant tribute to George Harrison in a wonderful, delicate and beautiful rendition of one of George's iconic pieces.
I mean WOW!
it does not get much better than this. Lennon/McCartny songs 50 years old. Paul Simon covers NO ONE, pure magic.
U mean George! ❤
Man I wish this and all the other RnR HOF performances were on Spotify
My favorite Winter Solstice song!
Beautiful harmony !!
Paul Simon was the most popular singer among our generation
in my country in the 70's
He looks to happy singing this. That smile is so priceless :)
So beautiful
This is how ypu pay tribute to someone. Simply beautiful.
That was better than the original!
They sound like angels.
I mean.. look how happy he is to be singing with those two.
Angels!!!
Love them beautiful rendition PS GN DC
Wow - Paul is simply beaming - enjoying those harmonies.
This song is what hope sounds like.
This was absolutely beautiful.
It still is!!
I adore Paul Simon & always have! His voice & music is ethereal & truly sounds like how I picture heaven to be, to me!❤️ Just love everything he sings!
And what timelessly beautiful songs of his own Mr. Simon has written for us. Love CSNY, love Paul Simon even more.
@@tamething1 I have always loved Paul Simon too! I so agree with you! His voice takes me immediately 🎶back to my 🎼teenage years! Simon & Garfunkel were the “backdrop to some of my most favorite memories!” Paul Simon’s voice has a unique quality that is all his own! Such a heavenly melodic 🎵quality that pulls at my heart♥️, the moment I hear him sing! ♥️
Experiencing this live must have been so very surreal. The most beautiful sound you can ever imagine.
george's love for us is so reflected here by these amazing peers.an extraordinary performance of love and musicianship.thank you
Lovely... GEORGE
Goosebumps as soon as they sing that first refrain together! Incredible!
So much more to this song than just a comment on the weather!
I love the harmonies.... I love the fact that these masterful vocalists are happy to be singing a vocal part each, while letting Paul Simon run the show. This is what singing pleasure is about. I'm a singer.. I get just as big a buzz at nailing a multi-harmony live as I ever do being the main man. Egos really get in the way so often and it's great to see craftsmen at work.
Delicate and beautiful, and the presence of the accordion was perfect.
Crosby, Simon, and Nash... Pretty cool.
Addendum:
I don't think that it's possible to assemble a more iconic, one-time-only team to recreate the vocal harmonies of George, John, and Paul.
There's no auto-tune. it's called harmonies...
Beautiful.
Magnificent. Only better version is The Beatles original one. IMHO.
There's a version by Paul Simon and George Harrison that's better imo
subg88 I have got to look for that version too! I adore the Beatles version( “The Original”) & this version by Paul Simon, too but I definitively will look for version you recommend, as well! This is such a beautiful song & love it so much! Each version brings it’s own special “quality to the beautiful words & music by the extraordinary George Harrison!” May he Rest In Peace ! ❤️
Maravilloso!
Luv paulsimon performance
One of my favorites songs, artists, and performances ever! I've been watching this video for years, it's great.
graham nash... epicness!!! nails it every time!!!
Absolutely fantastic! The art of these guys (the ones on stage and those who've already left us) is immortal! Thank you for uploading it!
David Crosby, one of the finest, purest singers in rock & pop.
All three of 'em are pretty pure, when you boil it down ... and it showed right there.
I always thought the high vocals in C,S,N was Crosby. It was actually Nash.
INCREDIBLE rendition
When you say, - That was for George! and everybody knows George's last name. ;-)
"That was for George!" It couldn't have been for anyone else ... and it hardly could have been dedicated better.
this is the first video that i've seen that doesn't have any dislikes
I long for the day the sun will rise again! I long for the day that the smiles returns to the faces! I hope and pray that the ice that divides us will melt and allow us to come together! Where is the sun, little darlin’? Where is the sun? ☮️🖖🏽
Amazing, my sweet George.
Great cover! There is great music, then there is the Beatles!
I saw this live a long time ago. Best cover performance I ever saw 🍻
This is magnificent! Here comes the sun..
WOW. Crosby, Nash & Simon! Cool.
i literally got chills at 1:04..
Beautiful.
I also like C,S& N version of Blackbird.
One word says it all.....SWEET!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I used this song as a motivator for new science component. Astronomy.
Grade 6
I shut the lights out.kidsput their heads down and relaxed.
In fact. My whole chalkboard ledge was scattered w Beatles Carole king Stravinsky.
Planets
Good old times. .... I will never forget them.....
Wow what a great performance!
What a great version of a wonderful song
Notice please hard pulsation in four-four time. This style is even better than Beatles production. And it is the best compliment. Beatles was after all the best. Thank you for nice recording - with atmosphere.
That's the way he rolls! REAL PERSON!
Nothing short of spectacular.
Beautiful performance!
Seems like you can't possibly hear this song and not feel better after
Dedication to George at the end. Nice. Very nice.
thats what you call music
Absolutely wonderful harmony!
What else we need to wish for? Let us give the SUN the reason to shine.
Great, great song. Great cover, too. BTW thanks for telling us that was for George. I might of thought that was for Aloysius if you hadn't said anything.
Beautiful voice blending of the legends.
Dumb comment....He's a seasoned performer feeling the vibe and the music! Just that!
You don't know what the hell you're talking about. There is no compression in Pauls vocals. There is NO kind of autotune used here.
Just love it !
too many legend in one stage!! amazing!! :D
george, in memoriam!!!
incredible!!!!!
wonderful!
Ahhhhh my feelings.
sssuuuuuper
thank you NYVideoGameFreak I freakin love it very much
It is so good that I get tears :))
amazing
Eu quero!!!! ♡♡♡♡♡
Very good.
Whu46.....how wonderful of you :).
@pbev7 Well, I can see your point, but I am thrilled by this version. The timbre of their voices, the way they played with the tension in the bridge. I'm in heaven after listening to this twice in a row and I might have to listen to it again. Harrison's version is such a hard act to follow, and they made it theirs. And like you, I'd've cut off my arm to see them sing it :)
Crosby, Simon and Nash :)
great song....thats it
@Staafy Good point, Staafy. What they were like when they were with any particular artist is another question altogether. I always loved the way they sounded when they sang. And loved the music which they wrote (especially Crosby).
