- Revisiting Minecraft Xbox 360 Edition in the year of 2022 after this version of Minecraft has long been forgotten by many, especially Mojang as updates no longer get developed for this console. After all it is 17 years old! This is a really nostalgic version of Minecraft as so many people first experienced the game on their Xbox 360 and due to the online features of Xbox Live Gold you were able to easily join each others worlds and play all day with friends from across the world making it a great way to spend time with people online. So many people will have great memories of playing Minecraft after school on this edition so I wanted to revisit it and get that calming feeling of having nothing to worry about except your next Minecraft project!!! If you enjoy the video please leave a like and subscribe to the channel to help support my channel :) Remember to turn on notifications if you want to keep up to date with my future videos and be on the look out for when I continue my adventure on this world and try to defeat the ender dragon

more powerful gaming console, the Xbox 360, was released in 2005. In an intensely competitive market, where the Xbox faced strong pressure from the Nintendo Wii and Sony PlayStation, Microsoft struggled through the years to make consistent profits from its console.
Minecraft: Xbox 360 Edition is the Xbox 360 version of Minecraft, developed by 4J Studios in conjunction with Mojang Studios and Xbox Game Studios. It was announced at the 2011 E3 conference by Notch and Microsoft, and was released alongside a free trial version on May 9, 2012 on Xbox Live Arcade. Minecraft on Xbox 360 supports split-screen play for up to four players, and offers specially crafted skin-packs, console-only competitive modes, mini games and more! Available as a physical disc or digitally from the Microsoft store. Microsoft announced will stop updating Minecraft on older platforms like the Xbox 360 after Update Aquatic. It now plans to only support the Java, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, mobile, and Windows 10 versions of Minecraft. - Ігри

did you have screen tearing issues with the actual console or was that from recording?

The most nostolgic thing for me is the crafting system and sounds. The little sounds when moving in the menu and selecting a craft are just so relaxing.
I still have so many memories on this game, still remember it being super scary as a kid, I also miss the old textures, biomes, music, features and skins, just everything about the 360 version was nostalgic and I may buy it later because I just miss it so much 😢😢😢. Idk the 360 was a massive part of my childhood overall, the things I’ve done on it are super nostalgic
i always use classic textures for my normal worlds now, classic just looks better imo.
@@THEcrosby yeah absolutely, especially the ores and netherack
@@ayaannazir7308 netherack has always been a neutral one for me, I'm fine with both, but I like the ores having the classic textures thought, specially the fact that the deepslate ores are the new textures, it's a nice blend.

Can you try to make a video of going back in time to alfalfa 1.0 it's of the year I was born in please and thank you God bless your soul and family
Same I remember it!
Fun fact: Minecraft was the last game I played on my old 360 until my dad unplugged it and kept it in a special place
I had that
Even though it was limited with build height and world size it felt like the most unlimited version with how easy it was to play with friends and other randoms. I remember using modio to play pc maps on 360, my friend used to host the original hunger games map that we had to reload after playing for 10 minutes because of the lag from people exploring the map.
I remember playing hunger games with my friend! Then making a smash bros mini game and having to reset before the 15 min autosave each time after the match so I didn't need to get the items all over again
Today Minecraft is overcomplicated and you gotta know how to make this and this autofarm and also this and this glitch etc..
I just hate the today’s non-minecraft Minecraft
@@PallDexCrewyou're just blinded by nostalgia. You literally do not have to learn how to make an auto Farm or how to do glitches at all. You guys are the sole reason why minecraft is so bad nowadays. Too little, you say mojang is bad, too much and you complain about how "unminecrafty" it is.
you can see the UI, texture, physics, performance, lighting and features had a huge change since then. I wish the game was still like this.
I played the PS3 version (basically the same) so much with my friend. We would spend countless hours playing it splitscreen in my room.
Man I have so many good memories of that. I will definitely play it again sometime. I remember playing it with people I met on black ops 2. This was like 10 years ago..
minecraft PS3, we all remember december 2013!!!!!
Bo2 and Minecraft gotta be the most nostalgic games
Me too, my best friend and I spent countless hours playing splitscreen. We're in college now and live together, and literally today we were playing dragon quest 8 next to each other in our living room. Some things you never grow out of :)
Omg I’m in the same boat with everyone in the replies of this comment 🥹🥹🥹
@@dr.sl0th203 yeah! i played it so much, i don't even remember how many hours but sure is a LOT
Didn't realize how nostalgic this would be for me - I never even played 360 back in the day, I just watched Stampy videos and dreamed about being able to play it. Quality video!
I did too, I was finally able to get one asking for my parents.
If you got one, you can actually play a old version of Minecraft. As longs as you don't have WiFi it won't automatically update to new version when you play it.
I've done that, I got 2 hard drives, one has new version of Minecraft, and one has no new updates at all. So I'm back in time as it allows me too. It brings back memories, playing for all they years without dating my game (because my parents didn't allow me to be online)
To you this video will be like watching stampy videos, what it was like for him back then. Because watching stampy old videos would also be nostalgic.
If ever wanted one, they are pretty cheap now. And alot of games still have the online mode available. Minecraft still does. I've played the servers
Me and my friend used to play this a lot in one map. We couldn't play in the same session at the same time so we just switched the controller back and forth. That map has so much content on it that you would be there scouring for hours. It even got to the point where if you walked into certain places the game would lose FPS. In the nether as well, from giant statues to huge pirate ships to mechs fighting mechs and much more. I remember that he hid something somewhere in that world, but I have no way of finding it now. He is gone. I can't even access the world or the game itself now because the Xbox 360 has been around for a long time that the tray can't be opened or closed properly. A nice game for sure.
You could take it to a repair shop and then be able to play.
There should be a hole next to the disc tray, inserting a paper clip into it and pushing will force the tray out. Enjoy!
I think your disk rollers are prob dirty. you should go take it to the shop and get your whole xbox serviced
I’m very sorry for your loss
The nostalgia hits hard... I remember when my sister and I would play this version for HOURS on end!
This feels like a letsplay from 10 years ago, i love it.
This was a nice blast from the past - this is where it all started for me! Just started playing again recently and making videos (would love if you checked them out). Actually i just switched from bedrock to java... lot of differences between the two versions still. Sorry for the rambling comment lol. Anyway i really enjoyed this video!
Thanks for checking out my video, I'd say switching to java is a good idea I've been able to do so much more on it than bedrock and the modding community adds a whole new aspect to playing minecraft
@@JerooMinecraft hi
Bedrock and Java are literally the *SAME* thing LMAO 💀💀💀
@@yeezyszn7208 LMAO they definitely aren't
@@yeezyszn7208 Not true at all, there are many differences. For example, there are no trident killers in java... the pillager spawn mechanics are completely different (which means raid farms are extremely different for each platform).... Not to mention how much more versatile java is with a plethora of mods to choose from vs very limited options with Bedrock... thats just a couple examples in a very long list.
Ive been playing since 9 years now, i really miss old textures and sounds and when minecraft was much simpler back then. I still love it, it’s music and the way it just is, this was a very nice nostalgic video, tysm :)
It's interesting watching these videos on old console editions. I've been playing Minecraft for over a decade but it was always Java edition. Never had the same nostalgia as some people about console Minecraft so seeing it as a new thing to me is interesting
So I'm super nostalgic for the 360 Edition of the game as that was how I played minecraft with my friends and what got me into the game (Other than Pocket edition on the IPod touch). My little brother played Java alot but our family laptop could barley run it. I didn't get into Java edition of minecraft intel much later when I was a teenager and knew how to use a computer
The screen spliting from the turning is wild man this brings me back though.
Screen Tearing is a horrible thing on the 360 lmao
Anti-aliasing when
@@AyeeSecret Anti aliasing does not affect screen tearing, rather it smooths edges. V-Sync must be turned on to rid your game of screen tearing.
@@KhaosInductionCreator that’s weird because when I play on my Xbox 360 the screen doesn’t tear for any games
@@narwhal6041 Screen Tearing isn’t very noticeable when playing, but watching a video is what makes it visible. It might still be visible while playing, but it is either to a small degree or it’s hard to notice
This was a blast from the past! I grew up playing on Legacy Edition and still have my Xbox 360 I’ve really missed playing on the older worlds and tutorial worlds. My Xbox broke a while back so I haven’t played this edition in years but it got me through a lot of tough times.
Now this is the Minecraft I’ve always dreamt of playing as a child; seeing all those UA-camrs and my friends having a great time playing this version of Minecraft, man if only I has the money back then.
The screaming, commentary playstyle, graphics its all sooo nostalgic i love it. Used to play on 360, and remember it as the most fun i had with the game
there’s something beautiful in the simplicity of this version of minecraft. there’s no overbearing feeling of needing to complete all the stuff that’s in minecraft now. All you could do was just build and survive, and that was great.
Man, this brings back way too many memories and good times. Seeing that achievement sequence made me feel so.. happy and sad at the same time. I played all the way even up to the point that they started adding minigames. I just can´t believe it´s been so much time since back then
Every now and then I'll turn on my 360 and visit old worlds. The nostalgia can break even the hardest stone.
Just nostalgia I needed. I remember playing hours in the tutorial or building huge unfinished buildings with my friends for hours in creative. Miss those simple times.
I played one of my old worlds on that version a while ago. The nostalgia of not only what the game used to be like but also the memories of creating everything in it was a really amazing nostalgia trip.
I'm a Vita player myself and it was great seeing you play, giving some light on the legacy console versions which are still enjoyable with their mini games etc
why not ps4/5 xbox one/series xs or pc
@@gio166
There was an update called "The Better Together Update"
This made the legacy console versions stop being supported.
So for consoles that had legacy console but were also going Bedrock, you had to go to the console's respective stores to go download the new bedrock version.
But on mobile, you didn't have to download a new version.
This happened because bedrock edition is actually built off of pocket edition; so pocket edition, and all of it's quirks and bugs, came to every other platform.
Although PS4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch _did_have the legacy console versions, they also have Bedrock. As such, you're unable to buy the legacy console versions, hence why they aren't talked about: They're moreso remembered with Bedrock edition rather than legacy console edition.
PS5 and Xbox Series did not exist throughout the lifespan of the legacy console versions.
PC isn't talked about as it's mostly associated with Java Edition, which is the original version of Minecraft.
If you remove the kids and custom stuff you can get, once of the biggest advantages of Java Edition is that is the only one which lets you play older versions of the game with relative ease.
@@gio166 I have a ps4 but find the vita a lot more useful as I can play it on the go plus it has its own charm in my opinion
You're insane, the render distance is just disgusting lmao but kudos to you
@@BigBossultrastealth yeah it is quite bad but I mostly build underground bases so I hardly notice
Ah yes, the memories of the skins, texture pack free trials, the tutorial world, building a secret hideout in the mountains, building a haunted house attraction, tormenting villages, the graphics and sound effects, the controller always dying, my tv screen being messed up and seeing everything tinted green, and most importantly, fighting my sister over who got to play next.
Such a shame that my Xbox doesn't even work anymore...

This video is honestly very nostalgic and awesome at the same time. Very underrated, keep up the good work buddy!
This is bringing back memories of staying over at my friends house playing Minecraft in the evening back in 2014/2015.

This was probably the closest I’ve felt to crying for a positive reason in forever. Thank you. I miss my old 360 worlds, but unfortunately my disc doesn’t work anymore, and I don’t know if I can still buy them or not. This video is still enough to satisfy that feel for nostalgia though. Again, thank you.
If you get an Xbox Gift card, you could add it to your account and buy a digital copy of it on the Xbox 360. That's what I did yesterday
