Last year we took the Shelby all the way down to Tennessee for the GT350 Mountain Run! This event featured over 100 various Shelby Mustang models, the majority were GT350 and GT350Rs, but there were also a few newer GT500, previous GT500s and even a Boss 302. Amazing roads included the Cherohala Skyway, the Tail of the Dragon, Foothills Parkway and the Devil's Triangle. The roads were fantastic, the cars and owners were cool, the scenery was beautiful and this trip just made me love my GT350R even more! I definitely need to make another trip down to the mountains with another car, it was such a great experience.

Driven those same roads in my 17 350 - great roads and fun. Can’t wait to do it again in my new to me 19R. Enjoyed the video - need spring now!!

I’ve been there too and it was fun. I drove a 2012 Porsche Boxster base with a manual. I think the perfect ride there would be a Miata. The light nimble nature of a Miata would be fantastic for those curves! The GT350 sounded great and you had loads of fun so nice to see this video. Great work!

This is a lot of fun! I have done this 4 or 5 times in different vehicles (2011 Mustang GT, 2014 Corvette Z51) Looking forward to taking my GT 350 on this road. Interested to know if you have a GT 350 / Shelby gathering there again. I live in VA so not too far away.

I heard your Grabber Blue no stripe R comment....proud to say I have the 1 of 9 in existence. I am here near Ft Wayne, IN and purchased it from Chicago Motor Cars in Chicago in 2020. Keep up the Shelby content, definitely jealous, I hope to hit the tail of the dragon sometime soon in my 17 GT350R also!
Def don't sell that car. It's going to be a collector car one day. Other than the new Z06 there isn't anything that might be better for the money than that beast of a stang. Cheers

Coming from Chicago, what is the best route to take to hit both roads you hit. I really plan on going this year. I’ve always wanted to drive tail of the dragon.
I just took whatever Google maps suggested for the quickest route to get there
