*EDIT*. I want to come on here and let everyone know that even though I could see in front of me when I played with more road and crossed lines, it's still VERY VERY dumb and doesn't matter if I could see / nobody was coming. Accidents can happen and sadly, if a 2 wheel buddy were in that lane also screaming it could be very bad. Don't follow my example in this video. It was my first time doing this and I now know, no matter what stay in the lane even if it is clear. 100% NOTED and if you plan to drive Tail of Dragon, take my mistake as a learning experience and just stay in the lane. Sorry for the dumb decisions fam. Glad everything worked out and when I come back next time, I can do it CORRECTLY 🙏

Man you’re my favorite UA-camr period, I home one day you go make videos with the wife & your buddies & head to Key West Florida for some videos & riding across the 7 mile bridge to key west lol, that’s where I’m going after I get my Z06 in 26 I’m taking that vacation as it’s my dream spot & can’t wait to take the dream car to Key West but hopefully after I get my Z06 maybe I can get ya’ll to come ride tail of the dragon & I want to hit the back of the dragon also.

The Foothills Parkway is a great lead into the Dragon. Biggest thing with all of the spirited driving is staying in your lane. You definitely don’t want to find the on coming traffic head on. Been there many times and will be there at the end of April with a club from central Florida. Another great road is the Cherohala Skyway. It’s a lot like the Foothills Parkway in that it’s full of longer smoother curves and longer straightaways and some really good views!

You really need to drive the "Back of the Dragon" in Tazewell, Va. As they say, 11 is nice, try 32. 32 miles, 438 curves, 3500 ft elevation change. Beautiful ride.
I grew up in the canyons of Colorado, you stayed in your lane, cause you never knew what you would face in the on coming lane!

My wife and I did The Tail in our TI Sport AWD in 2017. That car was awesome on the small roads because Alfa really builds their cars for Italian roads that are smaller and have lots of different types. We did it during the week when it was wet and cold and actually had the whole place to ourselves. Which was unusual for the road. We sold the Alfa after about six months after that but still have the memories of The Tail!!!

I only do stuff like this by myself in the car….my golden rule is if something is gonna go wrong rather be me it happened to than someone else. I can take responsibility of doing something to myself but letting something happen to someone who didnt have to be there is a different story

Oh yeah 😀. Welcome to my neck of the woods. I love to drive that road, drive it quite often when I can get a nice Saturday. But I must say my man, way too much mustard on that driving. That road demands respect, have come around the curve more times than I can count and someone on a bike (or U haul) there, gotta be careful...

Im always on the fence with Ponies in the Smokies at the Dragon because I'm also a motorcycle dude and some dudes with fast cars dont stay in their lane and come round the corner on your scoot and theres a cage (even if its a cool one) right there in your face so props to yall for this cause i didnt see you driving on the wrong side of the tail roo much for never having done it and that means everything that you at least werent just straight fckn driving on on the wrong side like it was a two lane one direction like some of these jack offs do

Looked like a very nice trip. Poor Romina being the passenger is rough. You really tach out that Mach running 2 and 3rd gear ! You could tell even on the video how sharp the turns are by how far you had to crank the wheel.

My HPP with 369 HP and 377 torque. I can keep up with these guys. No weight on the nose and high performance suspension. However when the straight comes they would kill me. Big HP in these cars are awesome.
i have ridden the Dragon so many times over the past 20 years and by far its the best road on the east coast of the US. Your passenger had her brake on in every corner. Great video!

I grew up ripping my 03 Mach then eventually my 14GT thru the mountains of West Virginia. There’s a mountain that takes about 40 mins to go all the way up and back down the other side, some of the best driving in the world lies in the Appalachian mountains
