- Cindi and Myles Musgraves were driving through Mt. Juliet in their Hertz rental vehicle last September when they said they were stopped and accused of stealing their rental car.
Well, I’ll never rent from Hertz again!
Hertz is a terrible company. They should be put out of business, and sued for every penny.
The individual(s) who reported the vehicles as stolen should not just be fired by Hertz but should be prosecuted for filing false police reports. Then they should be sued personally. Hertz needs a full process review for internal reckoning.
Boycott hertz!!!
Hertz needs to be held accountable for ruining the lives of these innocent people.
This evil company should be out of business forever!
Just imagine being stopped ..and you so nervous, make a wrong move, and get shot like a criminal! (hope they win the lawsuit)

Hertz needs more class action lawsuits against them nationwide. Hertz should be convicted and put in prison - the whole lot of them.
I was detained by police at DFW airport for a car I legally rented, Hertz wouldn’t respond to me for months and when they did they had a very rude woman call me and say they were in their rights to do so because so many cars had been stolen. That doesn’t have anything to do with me

Those costumers got scammed a second time. Class action for something like this prevents them from seeking actual legal actions. And Hertz is in bankruptcy processes. Meaning, the money will go away before the end of the trial.
I think they’d rather have their names cleared. Maybe a few free cars.
So the Hertz rental agreement did not have a mandatory arbitration clause? Hard to believe.
Charges dismissed does not expunge the record. Anybody who does a background check will see these people have been arrested for car theft. For some professions, like teacher for example, the record may prevent them from getting jobs in the future.

No police department anywhere in America should accept car theft reports from Hertz. If Hertz has issues renting cars to people who do not pay or do not return the car on time then Hertz needs to hire collection agencies or repo companies the same as every other business does. Personally I will NEVER take the risk of rentomg any vehicle from Hertz.
With a class action and more videos like this, the brand will go POOF! And more and more cops being made repo men, with the courts as a collection agency, will be made to look stupid. Hertz is not even apologizing. Don't rent their cars! Short their stock!

some big higher up @ 'Hurts' (note th spelling) decided to 'save money' tracking inventory by claiming legit rentals were 'stolen'
no one will ever find out who it was.
1st step for the ENTIRE CONTINENT is NEVER rent from Hurts, any outfit owned by any outfit that owns Hurts or is owned by Hurts.

'Hurt' THEM right in th pocketbook until they are DRIVEN (pun intended) to EXTINCTION,

🤣🤡 companies, guess they can't read the fine print. They won't receive any money out of that class action lawsuit, no stimulus, inflation and raising debt.
