I love Joseph, Gage, Alex and Farfa so much. When they just random call each other. Its content gold and them just chatting shit is amazing
those calls afterwards are the only reason I started watching prog. I think it was the one where farfa, mbt and gage had a "marital dispute" that made me go "this looks like a dumpster fire! I need to watch this!".
Them as the 3 stooges, trying to cook up a deck that could actually beat Cimo season 1 only for them to devolve into cursing and yelling at each other is genuinely gold.
the one where gage reveals the match wasnt a 2-0 for cimo, but actually a 4-0 for cimo behind the scenes is one of the golden moments in anything about prog for me
Best content ngl 😂. If after-game press conference weren't professional 😂
@@gaogaogagaman that was a classic. Forgot the name of the video though. Do you still remember the title so I can pull it up and review it once more?
Bro really said "So, if I did this Google search, this wouldn't have been dumb"
This misplay stunlocked me so hard that I just assumed that I was an idiot for thinking Lance would even work.
Nah we misplay to farm interactions
This has come up before. Either Gage or Joseph, don't remember who, was playing a machine deck and used machine dupe, Alex used Lance and there was a cut while they looked up rulings and then he took the play back. If he had just remembered it xD
Bro was doing Steiner Math to explain himself, thats crazy
I was thinking the same thing LOL
Proof that Yugioh players, regardless of how skilled they are, will still occasionally trick themselves into going neg 2
Damn, all that just to say;
You know they say that all prog duelists are created equal, but you look at me and you look at Gage and you can see that statement is not true. See, normally if you go one on one with another duelist, you got a 50/50 chance of winning. But I'm a genetic freak and I'm not normal! So you got a 25%, AT BEST, at beat me. Then you add MBT to the mix, your chances of winning drastic go down. See the 3 way, at Clash of Rebellion, you got a 33 1/3 chance of winning, but I, I got a 66 and 2/3 chance of winning, because MBT KNOWS he can't beat me and he's not even gonna try!
So Gage, you take your 33 1/3 chance, minus my 25% chance and you got an 8 1/3 chance of winning at Clash of Rebellion. But then you take my 75% chance of winning, if we was to go one on one, and then add 66 2/3 per cents, I got 141 2/3 chance of winning at Clash of Rebellion. See Gage, the numbers don't lie, and they spell disaster for you at Clash of Rebellion.
I DM'd Cimo about this when the episode went up so seeing you call him about it made it extra funny.
I really hope one of them plays speedroid after high speed riders, my absolute favorite archtype and would love to see someone win with it on prog.
This is one of the comments of all time in MBT's comment threads
My dude started with "see...what had happened was..."
You know it's gonna be good when you start like that XD
Can we also get MBT to call Alex on his Redoer nonsense please?
lol
Classic case of a ruling that works because Konami said so? If the monster is unaffected Machine Dupe shouldn't work
Why not? Dupe doesn't do anything to the monster. It uses the monster's name to grab copies from the deck. It's consistent.
@@ellachino4799 You are right, I checked better, targeting the monster is cost and not effect, so it isn't negated by Lance
@@DARKVEEMON1it doesn't matter whether it's structured under the cost or effect.
Unless the protecting card says that it cannot be targeted explicitly (which Lance does not do), you can target it even if it resolves without effect when the chain is done.
Neither of which really matters because Dupe is not affecting the monster in the first place.
Checking the status of it's target to see what to summon is not in any way modifying the thing it's checking. Even if you chose the monster at resolution as part of the effect, you would not be affecting it.
Also, you can even still do things like equip spell cards to monsters while they're under the effect of Lance (or even monsters that are outright protected from being affected by their own effects), they just won't gain the bonuses until Lance wears off (or ever, in the latter case) and all equip spells target.
