Its more the fault of creators and out-of-touch executives chasing the mythical "general audience" and "eternal exponential growth" that leads them to try and sanitize their franchises, which accomplishes nothing except pissing off their core audience and turn off the "general audience" as they become aware of the franchise's history and what it used to cater to.

I use to donate plasma to buy cards (had to stop because one of my veins collapsed and really hurt). Was able to build a few decks, including Salamangreat and Bird Up. Not a bad option, just please take care of yourself with regular exercise, healthy eating, and hydration if you are going to do this.

I just want to mention that the presidential judicial immunity when conducting official business while sounding wild is pretty standard. Technically speaking alot of the duties of a leader are fundamentally illegal if done by a normal citizen and this principle is largely there so laws don't need to have an except "frog the jam". This notion of immunity has existed in the US and is present in many countries around the world such as Canada, Uk (northern Ireland, England, Wales, and Scottland), Australia. Whilst it is a thing to be wary about the actual notion of immunity should be less of the concern what is to be defined as official should probably be the worry.

@@Zetact_ the immunity thing is much worse imo, at first it sounds great but the whole point of the law is to restrict actions. for example you can just the president directly deny the next vote through force. we might say, ok in specific situations you might want to do that, but i cant think of any that isnt: simply ratifiable by the rest of the government democratically (in the UK during ww1 and ww2 our parties just agreed to temporarily avoid it by forming a total informal coalition), or b. wouldnt immediately result in civil war.

It's complicated legal manner that you really can't capture just in a Tweet but the long and short is that all it's doing is the SCOTUS taking something that has been a part of the legal system for decades but without clearly defined boundaries and making a ruling that clarifies those boundaries.
The essence of the ruling is that in order for the president to perform the roles of the president and ensure laws are actually being upheld, there are certain acts that you really should not prosecute someone for.
My personal take on it is that there's certain acts by many presidents that it's reasonable to take personal issue with but the executive power that allows some heinous acts to be committed is part and parcel with the necessary power to perform the role of the presidency.

@@christopherb501 This logic only enforces the two parties dominance. The only power you formally have is to vote and if you vote for the lesser evil you are directly empowering said evil. If everyone thinks "third party will never win" you will never, ever get a third party to win, ensuring you get a 2 party state. Arguably the alternative is you threaten the party you usually vote for with not voting or even voting for the opposition. This is probably what got trump elected imo.
Unfortunately, we have learned the democrats are unwilling to change even when you threaten them with Trump. So what, double down? Seems like a bad strategy. Vote for someone you actually believe in.

The US has actually had i think 5 parties in its history and the republicans were invented AS a third party to be more against the pro slavery southern democrats back in the last civil war iirc. There was also the racoon party i forget their name who were even more anti slavery hence where the slur "coon" comes from. There was also a whig party we had in the UK as well. i think they were like laisseiz faire libs in their era.
