@@gigalodon14I’m assuming you’re talking bout Menko, which id argue isn’t better since you can play against having your monsters switched to defense whereas fader just ends the battle phase altogether. But yeah they would have a similar card available.

It's because he isn't reacting to the video at all until the pack opening. Additionally MBT reads out dozens of subscriber alerts during the beginning of the reaction specifically to piss off progrussy viewers since that channel reposts the reaction without permission and doesn't take the time to edit anything out. Vlad actually edits the reaction to cut out garbage like that and just skips right to the good part.

After seeing Cimo's deck I am ready to have a bottle night.
I like how chat’s like “BAN THIS DECK” for seeing Batterymen for the umpteenth time, when the true solution is to remove the banning system and take the option off the wheel entirely. Don’t get it twisted: the Hall of Fame should remain and is entirely necessary to keep this casual format fun and interesting by keeping broken floodgates and overpowered staples out. That said, having a general ban system, especially one based off a Win/Loss streak is a chokehold on their creativity for strategies and enjoyment from having to play and face the same decks over and over again and a death sentence for audience retention for the same reason. I hope they seriously listen to their audience and either just stop general bans or at the very least heavily rework it so it enables a more diverse and enjoyable to watch format (All just my opinion ofc)
Big agree. Especially considering the cards will literally rot on the banlist forever until theyre literally unplayable.

This was painful to watch tbh. If Gage had just slow played the last game he'd have been just fine. Pend's best quality is being able to rebuild board states at this time. If he'd just let the faders keep going through we'd have been all good...
To be fair, Cimo needed a crafted hand to not just survive, but crack back with a win. Cimo literally needed Fader, Gorz, Charger, and Instant fusion(or stormforth) to survive, then crack back, otherwise he just loses. It's somewhat unreasonable to expect a duelist to have that entire scenario in mind.
@@TsuikeNovaus It's not a matter about having the entire scenario in mind though. It's just a fact that if Gage plays it slowly there's very few hands where Cimo gets through the entire board from that position.
Playing it slow is just the safe play, but Gage has never played particularly safe. It's not like he's a bad player either. He just didn't take advantage of how good Pendulum is at a grind game.
@@DoctorOaksPlaying slowly will only cripple gage since he knows on game 3 that cimooo has vanities and if he played slow and somehow the destiny draw was another copy of vanities then the game would just be over
@@justarandomdudeintherabbithole If he doesn't negate the fader he has everything he needs to counter whatever Cimo wants to do the next turn with the trap. You make Bounzer, and Bounzer takes care of the monster effects while the trap stops any kind of Stormforth/Instant Fusion plays.
If he wants to keep him off of the Fader as tribute fodder he also makes the other xyz to pop it.
The only play that actively costs him the game is exactly using the trap on fader and Cimo having Gorz to follow up. If Cimo DOES topdeck the other vanity it's not ideal, but Gage would've been able to completely shut Cimo down that way.
Frieren is an EXTREMELY good anime.
Frieren blows, where the magic system is unexplored and every fight end in laser beam. We follow the cast of a lazy disconnected mentor who has only teaches one spell, a naturally gifted spoiled brat who throws tantrums, and an idiot with a big heart that gets stepped on by fern. The only redeeming quality it has is a large animation budget.
it was good at first, then it became a generic battle shonen in it's second half, albeit a pretty good looking one

not a fan, I think frieren and fern are very uninteresting characters and the plotlines are frequently hamfisted and predictable. i think it sets up a good premise and starts solid but once it moves to an episodic format it rests on its laurels and does very little

Almost like the progression series isnt progressing because he falls back on these decks like once a month. These monarch stormforth decks are quickly becoming the blackwings of this season.
Oh yes, because we just love watching batterymen for the umpteenth time and having a chance for something new get banned immediately.
hes given gage plenty of crap for repeating bad decks. but when you are the host of the show and you just keep repeating the same decks and not flexing to original stuff its totally justified. Its not like they arent all friends
