Interestingly enough, that’s how Marilyn Manson and the band’s members came up with their names, a “beautiful people” celebrity paired with a vile, killer type: Marilyn Monroe + Charles Manson = Marilyn Manson, (other members from the era of the band: Twiggy Ramirez, Daisy Berkowitz, Ginger Fish, & Madonna Wayne Gacy.) So, the killer comparison is quite apt. So, Marilyn Manson isn’t any kind of -core. But, to Lex’s question, I will just point out that at the time of that album’s release Marilyn Manson opened for Nine Inch Nails as they toured on The Downward Spiral. Anyway, if you want to check out another original/cover pairing, “I Put A Spell On You,” is also on this album, and the original is by one of the most incredible performers in American history, Screamin’ Jay Hawkins.

And she’s wearing makeup. 😮💨
She’s cool too😎
@@JoeBlow_4 And who cares about your comment???
@@JoeBlow_4 Are you saying that because she isn't the same color as you, Joe Blows? Free your mind, the rest will follow, Joe Blows!
You should do his own songs like the dope show, my monkey, organ grinder and angel with the scabbed wings.
Here's some recommendation if you want more Marilyn Manson:
- Fight Song
- Slutgarden
- Reflecting God
- Irresponsible Hate Anthem
- The Golden Age Of Grotesque
- Nobodies
- Love Song
- (s)aint
Mobscene as well.
Maaaan you all listen to and react to all the good stuff for real. Everything from rap to metal. I love this channel. Glad I found you all!!!!
His live album "last tour on earth" is so much better.
looking on UA-cam at KIDS REACT TO MARILYN MANSON
Imagine if they watched the actual video and saw the visuals... One of my fav videos!
Marilyn Manson said this was like a gateway song. It pulled you in, then your hooked.
Try scaring Brad with some Mushroomhead, Wednesday 13 or Murderdolls
Cannibal Corpse would probably do the trick too.
Every time I see "Mushroomhead" my brain thinks "Infected Mushroom" which is also worth checking out
You asked about black metal on your stream. You could check out "Immortal- All Shall Fall." It's not really my cup of tea but you can tell it was an influence on deathcore. The difference is in Deathcore the evil and darkness is kind of a metaphor bit in black metal they're serious. And the vocals always sound like they're recorded on an old tape recorder.
have a look on UA-cam at KIDS REACT TO MARILYN MANSON
Manson is a twisted dude for sure, but there's something oddly appealing as well.

appeal has been kinda soured by the women accusing him of rape and torture. crazy how literally no one in this comment section seems aware of that.
This was the 1st music video I saw after my area got cable. No idea music like this existed... I definitely had the same reaction as Brad. I think the face toward the end says it all
This is way better than the original
Next you should check out lunchbox by him
HAHAH! I loved both your PHYSICAL reactions at the end when the guitars were whining and waning!
You both lean WAY back, Brad was cringing in confusion, and Lex was just loving it! :-D
Sweaty Basement Axe Killer. That's a movie that needs to me made immediately.
The guitarist was Daisy Berkowitz (Scott Putesky), who sadly died in 2017
You're hearing the fact that this guy is ACTUALLY a bad person
Been a minute since I sat down and watched multiple reactions. The last 4 uploads are heater!
I just love that song, I really love listening to it everytime it brings me back in 1999 when i saw The house on haunting hill for the first time
So glad you did this, I mentioned it yesterday.
One of my favorite songs, I remember when I first heard this in the mid 90’s
I recently saw the 2017 version of the movie ' It ' and i was surprised to see Marylin Manson in it. He came out of a painting.
This video scared the shit out of me when I was younger. And I was already 13 the year this song dropped.
Such a brilliant cover. Not sure I would call it icky in feel, always struck me as seductive, but different strokes for different folkes.
Literally.
Aaaaaaaah......you have to watch the official video to this song. So much is missed. It spins a whole different haunting visual that just awesome.
