My mom has two friends that can't stand each other, and it's because they are exactly alike
That's so true, that's exactly why my father and my brother don't get along - they're too much like one another and have the same bad temper.
My mom is same with my dads "new"wife...lol
I’m just like the partners of my friends and usually the partner loves me or hates me… because we’re alike.

I dated a girl whos parents were pretty similar in description to Miyuki. She had three other siblings, their house was revolting, and her idea of "clean" was my interpretation of "absolutely disgusting".

As someone who desperately wants a clean house but fails constantly because of ADHD, I try my best but my idea of, at minimum, tidy probably isn’t everyone’s idea of clean. But I do my best - there’s a limit but most messy homes come from a lack of time, or mental health issues.
The purpose of Robert Greene's books is to help you understand if you find yourself being the victim. So you know to protect yourself. Because topics like that don't always get talked about.
Except you get people that like to be the predator using it to identify victims. Double edge sword.
@@thorazinequeen4589 Luckily, most of those kinds of people aren’t self-aware enough to think they need instructions. That’s why this so useful for victims: these monsters have such confidence they’re undetectable that even their victims believe what they’re doing might be normal or acceptable. If you’re reading it for tips, you’re most likely not going to be able to pull it off.
@@thorazinequeen4589There will always be outliers for necessary information. Should we not teach about Hitler because some people end up idolizing him? No, it's more important for the masses than the minority. That's all we can do.
@@caittails you misunderstood what I meant as saying. The OP was basically saying the book was not made as a guidebook for predators. and I stated it was used as such and it’s a double edged sword. Smh.

Cleopatra is remembered as a seductress, that men would topple kingdoms for her. But we now know she wasn’t a great beauty, she wasn’t conventionally attractive. Her ability to seduce was pure personality that captivated the men, she was witty, smart, and more often then not, cruel. She reminds me of these women
how cruel was she ? i'm sorry, i don't know much about her
@@sephora1908i think one of the worse things is having her younger brothers and sister murdered (the sister was actually in a place seeking sanctuary and it was understood that this place was off limits, a safe place as long as the sister never left there she could live. But cleopatra had assassin sneak in a kill her anyways, and 1 brother she poisoned and the other brother she had him drowned during a power struggle) but there were other stuff that she did that most rulers did in those times without thought, that were messed up. But the worst that come to mind quickly are the murdered younger siblings. Especially the sister that was begging for sanctuary, was ok with staying and living forever in a temple, promising to give up all rights to rule and being killed by cleopatra anyways.
@@Aziza_Nyxie_Jynx_Ashling oh, thanks you for taking the time to explain to me! i didn't know that she was evil
She was conventionally attractive. Her not being attractive is just a myth that was born from the fact that there's a statue from another Cleopatra and that face was attributed to her
@@kfkkfk7995was the statue confirmed her? I knew of the coins that were made during her rule.
This was really uncomfortable to listen to but I made it through the whole thing. I used to be friends with a girl who behaved exactly like this towards everyone, even trying to seduce my boyfriend right in front of me. This girl was working a manipulation constantly, sometimes multiple at once. The lies she told, the personas she took on... insane. I saw her emotionally destroy a guy in just four months.
This video gave me some flashbacks
My ex husband in a nutshell.
I had the 48 laws of power recommended to me because a coworker saw that I kept getting manipulated by others. The only chapter I really remember is the one about not letting yourself be isolated. I had ben ostracized so that chapter spoke to me.

How does one escape the depression? knowing such horror exist in this world. All these videos in this channel entertaining at first but just makes me sad at the end of the day. I can't imagine the toll it takes on the mind for "Rotten Mango" for researching so well and deeply hats-off to her. This channel is the testament what humans are capable of.
This is one of many true crime channels.
Yeah, buddy, time for a break. Stop watching.
No, this channels is a testament to the darker sides of what humans are capable of.
Perhaps you need to start watching channels about people like EMTs or tales of those perceived as “angels”*
* interesting phenomena where a person arrives seemingly from nowhere to help in a dire situation, saves or warns the person, then vanishes - is never located again. They look extremely normal. Are very calm. And usually no one recalls seeing them except those who were helped by them.
What helps me personally is rationing stuff like these videos and also looking at all the good humans can do… often times we tend to focus on negative news more than positive (which is easy to do) but it is important to remember all the sweet and loving human-beings out there :3 like even just seeing a person in my neighbourhood putting out a little bowl of water and food for the stray cats
look at the positive side- don’t focus so much on the negativity. There are also tons of people who are good and help others :)
Through the remembrance of Allah
it seems to me these two women were very narcissistic. they had an idea of how they wanted to be seen in public and perceived as, someone who's above others, controlling and dominant. so ofc it triggers them when a small detail misinterprets their image. they're egotistical and hated one another probably bc they couldn't live with the fact that there's someone else like them. they felt threatened. just my opinion.
you people project so much of your misanthropist bullshit onto people who are already being held accountable for their crimes, and not one of them was pardoned for a mental disorder. So hush. If you're afraid of people who are above you, that doesn't make them narcy, and just because someone kills, doesn't mean theyre narcy either. it's actual quite annoying that everything gets dumbed down to the scary N word. Youre literally watching a narcissist.
They're also both gross and repulsive... Inside and out lol. It's kind of hard to believe some poor guys fell into their traps
Maybe an inferiority complex turned into a majority complex. Anyway, these women are completely self-centered and reckless towards others, their children and themselves. That's how they're able to find their victims and do what they can do.
Nah, you got it exactly right. They hated having competition.
the way i also thought why Kanae & Miyuki hated each other is because they felt competitive about who was superior and more skilled at their manipulation. honestly a sick and twisted game but it makes sense when they’ve already gone to such lengths to ruin lives just to propel their own
Yeah, I didn't see them as one seeing their own flaws in the other at all. They just hated having competition.
i just love the way she just shares the details and all of her thoughts and the way she lays it all out. it really makes me feel like i’m actually putting in person ideas into the case! we love u girl!!
Agreed! I feel like it’s a tough line to walk between UA-camrs giving their own insight on cases like these and giving a biased narrative, and she’s great! Stephanie treats these events and the people involved with respect, and avoids bias while giving us her own ideas, opinions, and theories on the side.
"If *YOUR* victim..." NO, the author is not talking to a possible victim. He is talking to the predators. Of course. Don't be naive.
@@saymyname2417 Wrong thread.
The 48 Laws of Power is extremely useful tool to have in your repertoire even if you don't agree with the underlying philosophy (even its author admitted to writing it from a dark place in his life), other sociopaths and psychopaths in your workplace and other social environments do, so you'll at least be able to better protect yourself.
Did RG write that too?
@@JNB520 No, Robert Greene wrote that book as well as others such as the Art of Seduction, the 50th Law and others.
Unfortunately the majority of people seeking power are sociopathic people and narcissists. The book has been referred to as the narcissists hand book or something to that affect .
I use it a lot because I work in public relations, and the art of seduction in the forty-eight laws of power really helps me with my relationship building. I get what I want and meet some great people.

Stephanie is a very compassionate storyteller.
almost like a *_really_* weird version of high school non-sense. just so weird.
but then, most serial killers *_are_* mentally immature, have vindictively childish personalities and just never grow up emotionally. so i guess it shouldn't really be too surprising that they'd behave like this.
Thank you for taking the extra effort to get the word out about international cases while teaching us about different cultures! I've learned so many things from this podcast completely outside of true crime- I love you guys ❤
Whenever you describe miyuki , i remember my mother especially at SEDUCTION. The different is my mother would leave whenever she wants and wont think twice if she wants it. She also lied alot to her colleague about supporting us financially and she own debt and her reason is to send us money even tho she didn't do that. She also act like a loving mother infront of her lover but straight up ignore us. Of couse my mom is a beauty , she's overweight but whenever you look at her , you would realize she's beautiful. She knows her advantage and know how to manipulate man BUT OF COURSE SHE WON'T KILLED ANY BODY. We can call her just a white lotus , very loving infront but very toxic inside

Omg Stephanie, i love you! Thank you so (very) much for highlighting the (scary) fact Robert Greene’s hypocritical book, titled “The art of seduction” is actually about “The art of manipulation”, i.e. toxic reationship advice (sic), and the opposite of love imho! Robert Greene’s books literally advise people on how to be fake, how to behave like a manipulative con man, as if it was acting like glorious conquerors… this man is seriously guilty of spreading dangerous misinformation and #toxicrelationships advice i.e. the seeds of everyday true crime… and that does matter. Masumi is a mass murderer and not a S.K. Those a different. She make multiple victims in one shot... The first one, M.M, make multiple victims in a single attempt or over a really short period! The second, S.K, make more than 3 victims, over a longer periodic time table (more than 1 month after the first victim). It's important to point it out. Because they usualy kill for different reasons with different way... In psychology, they differ on many points! And peoples could be confuse! They're both awfull...But still...completly different! So she can't be the most notorious female S.K, since she's never been one from the beginning! Maybe the most notorious female killer... but i doubt it too!
Small correction(?): depending on the state (in the US, obviously), SK can be 2 or more. Three or more is widely accepted, but there are cases in which 2 or more is accepted.
The computer nerd in me is now on a mission to change the term “mass murderer” to “parallel murderer.”
@@ville__ - now why would you do that to yourself under this video 😰😰😰
@rmeredithm I'm in Canada. This is what we have in our criminal psychology books. ( Publish all around the world) So, I would not argue, just saying i never read this anywhere! S.K definition has been the same all around the world... So.. I find it weird than U.S.A change a know definition, by states... I'm just surprise and wonder why!? Because a definition who's not follow, is useless!
Just to be clear...are you sure it's not more about S.K who's been caugh but, where the system could not prove the others murders? So, basicaly, they've been charge with 2, but been classified as S.K because of suspicion of more victims?

One thing I know, the curry was not broght by Masumi, they gatherd and cooked at that place. They took turns to watch that curry pod. Masumi was the one who is accused of poisoning but the police seems like they are trying to hide something, some Japanese are still skeptical about Masumi is in the death row.I read the article saying the specific arsenic that they found was different from the one in the curry pod. I wonder what is the truth 😔
I’m Japanese and I have been following Masumi’s case for a little while. As far as I know, Masumi never confessed that she poisoned the curry and she’s been pleading not guilty for the case. People have argued that there is no reliable physical evidence or motive for her to commit this kind of crime that wouldn’t not be financially beneficial. (She had committed insurance fraud before but that was for money.) There was also a media frenzy surrounding Masumi at the time which also escalated the public debate that Masumi would be the one who poisoned the curry. There is a number of things that make people doubt the accusation and the validity of her death penalty, including those points that you and other people commented. It is a very controversial case.
