This might sound weird but the reason society blamed the kids is due to misogyny. That's really it. If the victims had been boys they wouldn't have had the same reaction and also society never holds males accountable for their own actions, no matter how evil they are, even in cases of murder the female victims are blamed by society. Its really disgusting but what's worse is I know it will never end because not enough women have woken up to just how misogynistic society is and the only way women might have an impact on it is by refusing to sleep with misogynistic men and by being way more involved in their son's inner worlds and actually holding their sons accountable when they do wrong. Idk how many women have told me their mother in laws justified their sons domestic violence or infidelity. One woman even said her mother in-law said it was her fault (the wife's) that her son sexually abused their kids because she chose to get a divorce. Absolutely sick! I love my kids more than anything and would die for them in a heartbeat but I also hold them accountable and would never excuse them if they committed heinous crimes.

Years ago I worked with an engineer in Texas who just didn't show up for work one day.
We later found out that he had traveled to Oregon to meet up with what he thought was an 11 year old boy - but was actually a sting operation.
He was seemingly so normal, married, 3 kids.
We were all so shocked & disgusted that he was just so normal, but was so obviously fecked up.
As a woman, it amazes and disgusts me, how man men can “have it all” and it still not be enough… they’ll throw it all away and hurt innocent women and children over some dicktainment.

Women are not blamed for rape, but if we go to Islamic culture is in Asian cultures, it’s highly likely that the woman is going to be blamed for her sexual assault. It’s more highly likely that in America. My brother’s ex gf broke contact with him because she told him the truth about her father. He took her on a hunting trip when she was 10 and $@ed her in an isolated cabin. When her parents found her email to my brother her mom believed her dad over her, and her email was locked for months. Her mother didn’t believe her until she ran away from home to hide at their neighbor’s when her dad showed signs of wanting to do it again and when that happened he disappeared, abandoning his family.
I remember once when I was staying with them, I was staying in her sister’s room and my parents had gone to the guest house, and I woke up alone, which caused me to start crying. I went to her room, and she jumped up scared, asking why I was crying. When I said it was cause I was lonely and didn’t want to go to the guest house alone cause a bear had been in the yard that day, she sighed with relief and escorted me there.
Years after when I heard what happened to her(I was 10 at the time and she was 13, and I didn’t hear about her past until I was 15), I realized she might have thought her father did something to me, and was relieved I was okay. That realization scarred me ever since.
I went through the. Similar type of shhh, a majorly terrible part of my life.

I agree. At least in the "it's not an issue" kinda way. Yes, it is a sexuality you didn't choose to have, like everyone just is, or isn't, attracted to people, without choice. Although I agree it's more of a disorder, which doesn't change anything. Because, you don't choose your disorder either.
If you WANT that specific disorder and/or sexuality however, you're to blame.
BUT we still need to handle it better!
And I give an example.
A couple of years ago a story came to light in my country. There was this man, he was pedophile and he seeked for help. For him, but also to not ending up hurting someone, which he was afraid of.
Multiple therapists and psychiatrists turned him down, as they didn't want to have anything to do with a pedophile.
Even though I understand the discomfort, it was their damn job. To help the guy that wanted help and absolutely to help making the children more safe.
He tried to get a chemical neutering, but that's not a thing you can just get here.
He ended up killing himself and left a note as to why. He wrote, that he buyed a child some ice cream and had them sit on his knees. He was hard in is pants during it.
The child, thankfully, never noticed anything (they where questioned afterwards, by the police), but that was the first time he actually came close to a child and therefore ended his life, because of the terror of what he had almost done.
Now, how guilty is he? How guilty are the people that denied him any help?
I think, if you're a pedophile, don't even start to think that it is anything less than a huge problem. Don't "out" yourself, as if it was healthy. BUT, if you never hurt anyone AND get help with that, you also shouldn't be shunned into oblivion.
Professionals that deny help should face consequences.
(Of course pedophiles shouldn't be allowed around children at all! But that's obvious.)

I went through CSA from a family friend and I don't know .... There's just some stuff I want to point out like, it definitely is a disorder and I noticed a pattern with these pedophiles. Anyway I can't vent further it's too traumatic

Hey Stephanie. There was recently a shocking discovery in Raymond, Mississippi. Over 215 unmarked bodies were found buried behind a prison. None of the families were notified and these were mainly innocent people wrongfully killed by the police. I am not sure how much information you could find on it right now because it is not really being talked about enough but if you could look into it and make a video on it I think it would be a great way to raise awareness.
More and more "missing" people are being found in this field and it breaks my heart that their families might still be looking for them. If you want to know more about it the jail is in Hinds county and it is called Raymond Jail. Thank you so much and I hope this reaches you.

I obviously don't know for sure, but I do know that the authorities in the PRC are very often A: corrupt to the core, B: incompetent, and/or C: far more concerned with controlling the population, mainly repressing any and all dissent, than with bringing well-off scum bags to justice

Because it's common they would fantasize about it. There's nothing behind it. Those things are studies by actual professionals and not subject to moral panic.
My last psychiatrist that I saw after a trauma and a lifetime of very well documented anxiety and depression diagnosed me with bipolar on our first meeting (anyone who knows about that diagnosis knows you shouldn't before 18 months of knowing someone and especially in a first meeting after a traumatic event) then told me he had a job for me and pressured me to work for him. He proceeded to harass me and stalk me telling me if I don't come out to his car at 5am he will call a welfare check and get me taken away long enough for my kitten to starve. He edited my files saying I was manic and hitting on him. He did so much more but my point is YES absolutely people are getting abused by people in the medical community. I'm 40 years old imagine if I were a child?
100% The New York Times did a mini documentary on a famous Sigman Freud case study that has been used against women for decades where this woman opened up about her trauma of nearly being sexually assaulted by her uncle of father (I can’t remember which) and basically Freud heard that story and went, “Hmm, yeah I don’t believe that man did any of that, but I think the fact that _you_ think that is true means you actually want to have sex with them and made up this story because your true feelings scared you.” The woman left her treatment with Freud absolutely disgusted and he published it all in a book without her permission of course.

I worked for a world known company that is well known and trusted with childcare programs. I remember they have yearly mandatory trainings related to spotting predators because that company specifically had so many child predators that ould try to apply due to how trusted the company was within most communities. We were instructed to report anyone even trying to be alone with a child. It was depressing to realize the lenghts these people go to in order to get access to children.
Yeah, I went to work with a charity organization, and the first thing they did was require a seminar discussing predators.
Some organizations will raise funds to go on mission trips to specific countries and areas and those who made larger donations got to choose what area they were going to and could kind of make their own "mission trip" and then other, likely more reputable people who were actually good caring people who had to raise money to go and help others would have a much more diverse group that had far more women and different ages in it along with bringing a person who had specialized training in a helpful area such as a trained medical professional or a licensed contractor, etc. Those other big spender groups tended to be middle age and older male dominated groups and they went to areas with terrible issues with child trafficking and other like crimes and happens to bring extra money with them. If they were not going with the banner of certain organizations then going to certain areas of the world on a repeated basis might look a little suspicious. Now if anyone asks they are going to help the kids. . . . . .or animals or build wells or w/e BS they need to say for w/e org. and area of the world they were going to.
I know so many people who have been sa’d as children by family and older “friends.” It’s so sickening, and my heart breaks with the trauma left behind and how these predators are still running around. Children CANNOT consent, and anyone saying otherwise is evil. There is no gray area here.
This world is truly scary for innocent people/kids.😢

I'm a survivor of csa and while this case is sick, the results don't surprise me. I was assaulted from around 4-12 years old and he barely got any consequences. I testified alongside another victim of his, totaling his charges to an average of 40 years if he was convicted. He got 6 months and got out 2 months early on "good behavior". He also never had to register because of a loophole the they found. He had victims before me and after me and had already been taken to court for similar reasons, but he now lives 6 blocks from an elementary school and .5 miles from my house. I felt the same hollowness listening to this case that I felt when I saw the alert that David Robert Miller had been let out of Franklin County jail. I still see him around town and it scares me. We need more advocates for putting monsters like him and weng away for good

Contact your legislators! Rape was recognized as a human rights violation by the UN a few years ago. If we signed that treaty, the local and federal laws are supposed to follow that. The USA and Saudi Arabia are the only two countries that havent signed the treaty giving woman equal rights. I think we signed the human rights treaty.
It boggles my mind that a child assaulter can be judged to have good behavior when they are not in jail with children, whom are their targets. Your case is sadly not unique and it seriously pisses me off. It literally doesn't make sense. There is a serious lack of understanding going on about the psyche of a child predator. It's very different than an adult or even teen predator.
Most don’t even make it to court and those that do further traumatized the victims because not only do they realize that that one person was evil but that the things and systems in place to protect them r also evil

I really relate to the kids who said that they’d rather continue the abuse to have tuition for a future, than have nothing, since the damage was already done.
I grew up in an incredibly abusive environment. My earliest memories of life were thinking of unaliving myself. I was really withdrawn in school and was afraid to make friends. At 11+ I started running away from home. When I was 16, I could legally leave home. I was set to graduate HS at 17… I chose to stay at my abusive home in order to graduate. I thought that if I graduated high school and got the diploma, I’d be able to get a better job so I could make enough money and move to another country so I would finally feel safe.
I did it, I moved away. I try to block out the feelings and memories, but the physical scars remind me of those times.

I'm 55 in the U.K and old friends would be absolutely shocked, maybe not believe, what I have done.
We didn't do the talking thing in my era, I was around 27 when it was offered, but I didn't think I needed it. Bottling everything up, has really come to seriously, affect me now I'm older, like you wouldn't believe. The choices I've made, the things I've done. Even 2 night's ago, I self harmed, I used scissors, one point was inside my wrist, the other on top, to cut skin all the way around, so it isn't attached anymore, cutting veins, tendons and whatever else. I won't go to the hospital, so district nurses look after me, they are used to me now.....

I agree I wouldn't want them near my kids. I am incredibly cautious of who they are near. I won't allow them to sleep over with anyone regardless of who and they're only ever allowed unattended with myself and their father (They're neurodivergent and school can not cope with my kids).
However the initial point is that if they're allowed to get help then they're less likely to actually hurt someone. Apparently some are entirely disgusted that they feel that way. The changing legal ages and stuff like that isn't necessarily the same thing. Maybe I'm naive still but if they were allowed to talk about it at least we'd have better tracking. And there really could be a chance it could reduce numbers. It does help with other impulse issues like self harm, drugs, alcoholism so in theory it could. If someone is having thoughts like "I really want to kill a bunch of people" they get help and more often than not don't do it. In theory it's the sane premise. It isn't about normalising it, or rationalising it or accepting it. It's about having a place in therapy for them to help them keep away from doing anything to anybody at risk.
I also realistically know none of that would ever be able to happen. But we will also never be able to just kill them all. And they will just stay in hiding. That won't do a thing to make our kids safer at all. And there will always be more. There is no screening or testing. So we'd just never know.
I look 13 but I’m 23, & bro the amount of times some of my instructors, workers, even random ass strangers who approach me to flirt & ask for my number is disgusting. Just to expose where I usually get these questions. I usually find them at school, jobs & some dancing classes I took. In conclusion : bro they’re everywhere & so many. I had like 1 teacher who married a high schooler back in the 80s, a “where my hug at” counselor who openly joked about a student to sit on his lap, my dance teacher who asked my age after having to personally dance with him (latin dance) & my father pulled me away bc he registered what was going on, some random guy outside the school asking girls for their number. Those were one of the first ones that approached me.
This has me curious as I never thought of that type of situation before, do you believe you can never have a relationship without them being into such a thing? Or do you feel no matter what you would be unable to believe what someone says if they want a relationship with you?
@@Brian2 honestly I’ve had so many encounters that led me to such trust issues.. but I will say, I can trust an individual if they are consistent or I see them on a daily basis. I don’t trust anyone who approaches me but I also don’t invalidate their chances to show themselves who they are but it is very very difficult understanding who has genuine intentions because putting up a front is a widely used skill among everyone. Because of how many sickos I encounter everyday, not every other day.. everyday it’s concerning. I honestly am dating a korean man who wants to marry me. Same age 23 like me, & he was the only one who thought I was 2 years older than him. To him us as westerners.. we look 5-10 years older than what you would see in their society. That did help me not get approached by a pedo mindset. I would say for others who have the same problem to either date in societies where they see you as equal age or slightly the same like this situation or online with no pfp but i feel like that’s riskier.. OR.. pay attention to encounters of similar people the same age who also have this problem because honestly Its weird being infantilized by men who actually know my age but sexually get aroused when they expect me to be stupid because it fits their 13 year old narrative just so they forget I’m 23… ugh

The second part of your statement is inaccurate. People may have been in extreme poverty in the past but not anymore so are able to see it now. Also they could watch it off of someone else's device.
I think there isn't more justice in these situations because people are afraid to realize the severity of the truth. It's like the old dilapidated house on the corner. It sits there for decades, even though everyone complains, because they are afraid to open it up and see what's inside to tear it down.
I used to work at a place where a lot of kids would come in after school and they would chat with me every day. Many complained about teachers who were very obvious p3dos. But when they tried to speak up to school leaders, they were shut down. Faculty said they were just making up slander to ruin strict teachers they didn't like. There were girls as young as 7 being targeted.

Another clear indication that this is disgusting and unnatural is the fact that they say they can’t help it because they “love” their victims, but then once the victims are “too old” the predators need to move on to younger kids. The issue is the statements you made apply to MANY other relationships that are seen as unhealthy however. As a generalized statement because it happens more with men doing it than women, but women are not excluded from doing it. . . .How many men marry a young beautiful woman because they "love" her right out of high school or within a few years after. . . .and as soon as they determine she is "too old", used up, has some stretch marks from making some beautiful babies with him, etc. do men simply get a "newer model" and go back into the barely legal, if legal, age range. Many men repeat this even when they are in their 60's and 80's because they "love" their victims, the young women they use up and spit out. This is extremely common to happen to women and does happen to men sometimes. I've seen some men who do this go after teens and very young adults who are either already on a very addictive substance or they will get them hooked on a very addictive substance as well. Things with a very low rate of getting over with the best rehab. I've seen them go after people with a history of trauma or who have a high ACES score.
I understand when you compare using a 4 yr old in relation to this story and there are many cultures in the US that still do arranged marriages and in many states you can still have a child bride as long as you have parental consent. I believe many of the people who were likely trying to get this age of consent completely erased may have had ulterior motives AND legally speaking there are many cases where a single year can make or break a person having to register as an "intimate" offender and be charged with a crime for people who may only be a few years apart in age who date or for a person who didn't get an ID and believed the person when they said they were over 18 and were in an 18+ club and went home for a good time. Many people end up punished for this. Other culture do have plans to or marry off kids when they are what you or I might think of as young and whether we approve of things or not many people have their first intimate experience as a teenager. Just some things to think about as the legal issues go beyond this single community referenced and have reasons rooted in legal literature and social work.
If you ever drive a bus in an inner city I can guarantee you will see a 10 yr old pregnant within your first 3 yrs as a bus driver. It simply is what it is and the common age getting on the bus pregnant was 12 yrs old and I have two daughters and both are older than that and no babies or pregnancies and I could not imagine if my daughters were pregnant at that age, but it happens more often than people are aware of.
It makes me so upset that no matter where you are, people like that guy exist to prey on the most vulnerable and helpless in order to make a profit... And get off. He's sick, the pervs who participated are sick, and the fact the children are blamed for being assaulted is sick.

As someone who was r worded as a child by a trusted adult, and have talked to many social workers regarding this topic.
It is actually pretty common for children to defend their abuser.
Emotionally, a lot of the times, it is a coping mechanism to deal with the pain, otherwise it is just too much to bear.
On top of that, most of the times, children are being groomed by their abusers to think a particular way.

I see people who share kindness and awareness, but it seems like those horrific comments are more prominent. I lost almost all hope for humanity, and the only thing that encourages me are comments like yours that don't bash people for being SA victims. Try to keep spreading that kindness, because I know I needed to see it after the things I've witnessed, and I'm sure your kindness helps others too.

This is so true. I've seen multiple cases where really young children were kidnapped and abused for years. Obviously they grow up in that environment with the abuser being their only source for living, so it's not unheard of for the victim to side with the abuser (a Stockholm syndrome situation). What really infuriates me is when people berate the victim for it.

One of my family members is in this age, and when I just think about it, when I think it could happen to her, I find breathing hard and my sight gets blurry because my eyes are filled with tears...this is just the definition of being sick.
My friend’s brother is diagnosed with paraphilia, which means he is turned on by having sex with people who don’t consent. So he is literally a danger to EVERYONE. Absolutely gross.

That's just how people think these days. People think from their own perspective and cannot put themselves in someone else's shoes. I had a car accident which was 100% not my fault. But I got blamed and judged by all my friends and colleagues because I am a woman and women can't drive. Simple as that.
So when an adult hears a child was abused in some way, they look at themselves and how their childhood went relatively normal, and their conclusion is that it must have been the child's fault because it didn't happen in their own life. People use their own lives as the "norm" to compare everything else to.

Predators are everywhere, constantly. I was SA’ed by a trusted family friend when I was seven, in middle school, has a male teacher try to approach me in a very inappropriate way, in high school, I had a teacher who showed the girls in my class CP (he got fired but my classmates and I were shushed), and then SA’ed by a teacher later that year who had also tried to record my classmates sleeping while we were on a field trip. It’s beyond disturbing. They don’t need to be “reassured and comforted” by the public to make themselves feel better for their mind. Children need to be protected.
May some of the girl victims grow up to become journalists, activists, lawyers and put and end to this. God bless the courage of those who helped stop this sickening exploitation.
But sadly, since they lost their tuition and didnt get money i guess they cannot even go to school anymore :((

I found out a few years ago that my aunt would "rent" my cousin, her own daughter, out to a mechanic that my whole family used to fix our cars. The first time, my cousin was 6. My aunt had a gambling problem. Thank God my uncle had passed away by the time this came to light. My aunt was also. I just can't wrap my head around it. I just screamed until I couldn't speak. I'm a year older than my cousin. This was an animal that would vacation with us and his family. You just never know who's stalking you and your kids. It could be a member of your own family and a lot of time it is. 😢
Horrible story. Tragic. To betray a child like that. And betrayal by a woman of all things. One often hears of dysfunctional families and ex-es and boyfriends abusing kids of other men and sometimes the mothers permit it because they're either on drugs or alcohol or 'love the boyriend' more than they love their own flesh and blood. :(

Stephanie this happened to me and my partner. The story you told of the glitched hacked computer. My partner was swarmed by police and arrested two weeks after a guy on FB randomly sent him a message that said do you know this girl? I was sitting beside him and not even clueing in he clicked on it. He was immediately shocked and closed it. It was a young girl sitting on a car We weren't sure if she was 15-16 or maybe a bit younger. We didn't know what to do. We decided stupidly just to ignore it . But two weeks later....hell happened to our family
I was 3 the first time I went through SA. He was a grown man married to my grandmother (not that it matters but I have no biological relation to him, and they divorced when she found out) Age of consent is VERY important. I didn’t know what was going on, no one told me that no one was allowed to touch my body like that. I urge parents, even though the conversation may be uncomfortable, talk to your small children about good touch and bad touch. There’s appropriate ways to talk to small children about this. You never know who could prey on a child. I’ll hurt someone if they touch my children, and that’s putting it lightly. I’ll go to prison for my children with a smile on my face. Those who haven’t went through SA don’t understand what that truly does to a child, the relationships they form, the way they think, the constant fight or flight around new people who slightly remind them of their abuser(s), the PTSD..depression..anxiety. Then if they have children of their own, the fear they face every day regarding their child’s safety.
Went through the same thing when I was 9 by my ex step dad. My mom divorced him 6 years later but she still sided with him and was close to him. I will do anything to made sure my kids didn’t went through what I did. I wish nothing but healing and love for you in life🤍

Yes a predator will be far less likely to target an ‘aware’ child that feels they have the right to not be touched and has been educated about the existence of individuals that will try not to respect that right. You don’t need to get deep into it and traumas them of course start by never making them hug or kiss a person , relative and even yourself if they don’t want to
Same at 5 yrs old, 3 teenagers. 7 yrs old, an old drunk uncle, 4th grade some unknown person (I learned to block it out by then). I lost a huge portion of my life that year.
They target poor kids, quiet kids, kids with only moms, kids who are active but unattended, sad kids, and especially lonely kids.
Talk to your children, teach body awareness (not sex education) very early, teach stranger danger, teach "this is not my daddy", teach scream your head off and FIGHT. Nobody taught me none of the above until junior high Sex Ed in 8th grade - too late.

Predators are literally everywhere. I have encounter a few men hitting on me when I was 10 to 12 years old. Even teacher. That alone traumatised me for over 10 years. I can't imagine how did victim of SA get through this. It just broke my heart children are being treated this way.

It would be really cool if you could cover the case of Helen Ruth Spence. She was a Native American Women raised on the banks of the White River in Arkansas. It was a thriving indigenous population. When her father was murdered she sought revenge because the court was about to let his killer go free. Her community called it riverjustice. She went on to become a vigilante of sorts. Advocating for,and often murdering men who victimized women because they could, as she had suffered numerous types of abuse at the women's prison she was Held in. It's a really cool case and I think you guys could do it Justice.

Omg I met someone in Colorado once with the shaky spiral triangle as a necklace…. I remember thinking how weird it looked and like “why would someone wear that, it’s kinda lame, I wonder what it means”. He wore it every day. I met a disgusting male with the boy lovers symbol necklace. I didn’t know what it meant at the time, but the evil in him didn’t like me and the good in me was likewise.

This is so scary... Tbh as a victim, its a reason i dont want kids... I would be scared, anxious and hypervigilant to the point of getting sick to protect my childs, but i already do to some extend for the kids of others, when i hear a child cry, scream or anything, even just seeming uncomfortable, i try my best to do something bc i get triggered like theres a predator hunting me/childrens
I say this as another victim and with lve. Trauma is like an injury with an infection, the brain is sending a message. I have trauma from both SA and non SA causes from a fireworks accident when a mortar went into the crowd. It stems from having trouble with something unexpected that destroys how we perceive the world. Our sense of certainty and safety is destroyed by circumstances we couldn't control. But it isn't meant to be a burden, and to be carried for life. I carried that for too long, and it eats away at you. You never feel safe in your skin. You never feel safe with anyone else or even in your home. Because it colors how you see the world and distorts it, it affects your relationships, your career,and prevents you from being content. It becomes all consuming. There is a point where the trauma no longer serves its purpose, like the pain signal from an infected injury, eventually the infection starts eating you, and the pain signal no longer serves a purpose, because the infection becomes hidden, familiar, but is slowly ending you. Whether through holistic healing, or getting *competent * therapy, or both; you need to slay this dragon and heal. To stop giving it power and control over your life, to stop consenting to its existence, because you never gave consent in the first place. There wasn't the information there is now, and I carried it by myself for too long, until I didn't. It doesn't have to be this way. The best gift you can give yourself and those around you, is to be whole again. Healing almost feels like you are giving up and giving in. Almost like giving permission and admitting defeat that it was ok that it happened. That if you find peace, that is like claiming it never happened. But the only person still not going on with life is you, and continuing to give them power that was never theirs to begin with, which is why they sought to steal it from you. Please, don't continue to carry this burden any longer than you have too. Take care and soothe that distraught child inside of you. Because it means getting your world back on your conditions. I regret carrying this for so long. The only person that was hurt was me and those around me. Most importantly, and ironically the most difficult, is to forgive yourself. I truly hope you find peace and love. You deserve it. 🤍

You cannot explain an attraction to a group of people that cannot consent as a sexuality. It’s one thing to be attracted to men as a man, it’s another thing entirely to be attracted to a young boy who I know for a fact is innocent, immature, and incapable of consenting or deciding between steak and candy for dinner
Vulnerable people are protected, children, the disabled, elderly, poor, etc. Years ago I heard that "people" were fighting for the right for man/child love. People are getting so twisted. This happened to my neighbor/babysitter. It went on so long. I can't imagine. My eyes are open and I am seeing!!

OMGoodness, I heard about the brave efforts of the children on zip lines going to and from school years ago and my heart went out to them. After you said it was these children who were being targeted, my heart sank. So brave and girl power went through my head years ago, and now, I just wish there was something I could do to help them recover from this horrible trauma. The fact that pedos seek positions with the very people they are likely to commit crimes against is really messed up. If they really cared or wanted to seek help, you’d think they’d avoid situations that would cause them to offend.

The world is an unjust place. There is no equality among people. Even now some countries can be hit by nuclear weapons and others can't be hit because they are allowed to own them and so nobody will attack them. Ukraine gave her nuclear weapons away in 1991 in exchange for promise from Russia and USA not to be attacked and now children die in Ukraine every day.

i don’t have any issues with people who recognize how wrong it is to be attracted to children and actively go to therapy and distance themselves from kids as much as possible, but it’s horrific to think that they would seek out careers that puts them close to children even if they don’t physically act upon their feelings

(edit: not counting intrusive thoughts, of course those can’t be controlled, but if they actively engage in those thoughts then it’s an issue. we need to offer support to these non-violent non-offending people instead of scaring them into silence for the sake of children. offering help to the pedo will ultimately prevent them from committing crimes and becoming an offender which helps children in the end and that’s always the goal) ~ imho
Completely agree. I think that by contrast with being against “advocates” it definitely does something for people…being able to identify and avoid. Just like people with addiction issues, you’d get mad seeing them at a party so we need to know if people around our children are like this to help the kids, but also help these pedos by not allowing them to linger in the dark.
I just wanted to add some context to the final line you used, as someone who struggles with suicidal ideation and intrusive thoughts, a disorder don't give you a choice of what goes on in your head always, that doesn't make you a bad person. I know Stephanie referred to this type of attraction as a disorder and while I personally don't know much about it, i would think it would affect in the similar way. I think you judge people with this disorder on their actions, do they act upon or seek help for their disorder because those are things they may be able to control.
I really can't find a solution to this. I would never trust someone who's attracted to kids, like I would instantly block them out of my mind and would never allow them close to my children, if I ever have some. Like yeah, I can like thumps up someone recognizing an issue and working on it, but that doesn't get rid of the primal feeling of complete distrust and honestly disregard for their wellbeing, I just cannot, kids are precious and anyone willing to hurt them is demonic

@@alexsanchez98I think that it goes with every disorder, no? If a person has unchecked, untreated schizophrenia, I won't leave them with children as well. I think more people with this disorder should keep away from children while trying to get help, and the first step of getting help is accepting the fact that you have a problem and reaching out. We should help pedos but we also should hold them accountable. One doesn't cancel another

I don't understand why the children blamed Chris when CEO Chan is the one who actually went undercover and exposed Wang and his so called "charity". And for all the damage that Wang did he received only 16 yrs in prison??? Thats BS there is NO JUSTICE there for these young girls, so so sad this is heartbreaking. The amount of CSA in this world is absolutely terrifying. I live in a country where children go missing every day, some SA'd and murdered and others vanishing of the face of the earth never to be found. There are so many terrifying men and women out there hurting children for their own gratification without a second thought for that little defenceless child. My constant thought is 'Why are those in authority so loathe to prosecute? Is it because they themselves are monsters looking after their own kind?
