a tip about the toilet use, sit when you piss, it prevents way less splatter and your bathroom won't smell like a urinal. Trust me it won't make you any less of a man lol. Just speaking from experience. Especially when you have a female friend over she would appreciate it more. Good luck with your adventures and stay safe.

    Nick,
How refreshing to find a channel like yours. I followed Atticus, Uma, Delos, La Vagabond, Good bad and Ugly, and others from their beginnings and yes they have become hugely successful and the production quality of those channels is very high, but what attracted many viewers to them initially was their raw nature. The eye of the tiger if you will. You have that raw quality and I hope for the sake of us who enjoy it that you never lose it.
    Be safe out there.
    Rick

Cheers from San Juan Island Washington. Im living on a Erickson 29. Get hot water on demand for dishes and showers, Camplux costs around $130.
Ditch then two anchor setup. That will mess you up in a storm. Im running a Sarca Excel #3 with just 1/2 Rode, I never drag and don’t even use chain.
Gland you and your mom had a great relationship. Better to love and loose and to never love at all. Stay positive. Life can be thrilling on a sailboat. Godspeed!

I did what you are doing 25 years ago…You certainly got the right boat for it. My first was a Bristol 24 and it was bomb proof and much more capable then I was and kept me safe😊
That said… you have plenty to do to be more comfortable and ready for Hurricane Season in Florida… I’d get yourself a Dodger or build a hard dodger asap…additionally I’d put a couple of milk crates that are lashed in near the bow where you could have 2 anchor set ups ready to go at all times😉 I’d also have one set up on your stern👍
Anchor and chain can be expensive so keep your eye out for powerboaters who give them away when they are not shiny enough…you’ll see😂😂😂
Also your anchor lines were wrapped and I’d try to avoid that…
Inside your V berth I’d consider getting rid of the cushions and build a well ventilated closet up there and build yourself a nice and comfortable bed midship 😀
I guess that’s enough for now but best of luck to you😀👍👍

No matter how long you sail in your time you will always learn something new. No one knows it all. Be proud of your accomplishments so far but be sure to pic your weather window wisely. The sea can be unforgiving. When in doubt, wait it out
Last note, be careful where you fly your drone. I seen the airport in your intro and you are close enough to cause a problem with landing aircraft. You were probably in controlled airspace by the tower. As a private pilot myself I almost hit one near an airport before I was flying into.

That's wazzup broughdiie! I been van life'ing it for about six years now man... Ive lived in the Florida area as well, It definitely looks much more peaceful from your view than from the crowded land. I'm completely new to the water as well, but I'm starting to do some research so once I get to that point I'm less scared shitless lol. How did you find your boat, what steps did you go about before purchasing ol MaryJane or was it just a gut feeling? Safe travels brotha

Best way to get off the mtn dew is to simply leave without it ! Its a sht product and when you havent had 1 for 2 months you wont be able to drink one for all the shit in it. You dont have to eat "healthy" but ditching that shit is a great start.
Remember to LOG EVERY DIVE and get signatures. There is a padi solo diver cert. That requires 100 logged signed dives. Though i have learned solo diving isnt as fun as youd guess cuz theres nobody to share it with when its over. Tho i do still drysuit solo.
Drinking and sailing dont mix. First you think youre just gonna get a buzz then your tearing up your shit or worse someone elses.

“I have no warrants out.” Bahahaha. You’re killing me smalls
I was an instructor for Armor officers years back. There’s a public speaking trick I learned that may help you. Your video has an agenda and there are a several points you want to make or the outcome of your video. Make an outline with a beginning, middle, and ending. Make bullet points about what you’re trying to convey, doesn’t need to be word for word. If you stick to something basic like this your message will be easy to understand. I think you have some potential bro. Hopefully I’m not coming off like an asshat, just wanna help. Cheers bro
